should have pinned it.. i imagine a few whacks and use of that saw is just gonna rip the tang from the handle... and it would have made for better guard and handle fitment in the end.

Fantasy knife... with a forced patina... electrolysis, why ?? you have a wire wheel... AND a 1X 30... using a file on a 3X3 piece of wood when you have power tools ?? It's your rehab. (not restoration) to use whatever tool you want, but it doesn't make sense to me... Were you basting a rib or trying to treat the handle...😑 You have a nice functioning knife, but not sure about a restoration... actually I believe this knife is still available at many of the fantasy knife retailers...

Good luck trying to redo the handle after it gets damaged. Next time, please use pins and a better knife. I’m sure you’ll still get $20 from someone who doesn’t know knives.
you are not restoring a knife; you are making a video clip about someone trying to restore a knife with minor surface rust from rain water. there are thousands of similar videos on you tube. you want to be noticed, come up with something worth watching. good luck.

Yeah, this one is a perfect example of it. It's only slightly less than boring, but now its restored, all shined up like new.
