It’s crazy to me that this channel doesn’t have a few million subscribers and isn’t one of the most popular channels on RUclips… it’s just so amazing the illustrations, the content, the narrator it’s all the best!!
Unfortunately the content is usually incomplete or offers assumptions that don't often match the reality of the circumstance. Bottom line: Its made for children.
Man the wolfman was just taking a nap when these 2 strange kids came barging in with guns and when he kindly asked them to leave they started shooting at him.
I watched "Curse of Skinwalker Ranch" (the title when it is broadcast in the UK) last year and I am currently stacking up the second season for a binge. Trust me, unlike other paranormal TV shows it focuses solely on the things that happen at Skinwalker ranch. Batteries draining, equipment failures, people who have suffered injuries trying to dig on the property - I recommend watching it.
The thing one must keep in mind about the people of the Uintah Basin is that they are compromised mostly of Native Americans, and descendants of Mormon polygamists, both of whom still retain well-earned distrust of government authority and anyone else waving around official looking credentials. Combine that with the natural reticence of rural people and their distrust of outsiders, and you have, as they might say in rural Utah (if their mormon bishop isn't around), people who wouldn't say shit if they had a mouthful, especially to a bunch of equipment-carrying city folks. As such, lack of stories about high strangeness from people in the Basin should in no way be construed as evidence that no such stories exist. On the contrary, I suspect that for every one a researcher is able to collect, there are many, many more that have gone, and will continue to go, unreported.
Bingo! And not only Utah but mountain people all over the globe. Ask any Afghan war vet about stories local villagers shared, or why they refuse to go to certain places. Same thing in Appalachia, or Siberia, or Slavic countries, etc. Most of these communities don’t want outside trouble, and keep their secrets well….
Maybe 10 or so years ago, sure, but not so much anymore. Vernal is mostly a collage town now, Our oilfield bottomed out before the pandemic and it fucked us over bad. People in Roosevelt and Ballard are the same; they relied heavily on the oil field which is now dead, mostly. The Natives though are still as you say.
I just dropped a comment before scrolling down and reading yours that supports what you're saying. Long story short when I was working near Roosevelt exactly nobody who I asked about the ranch was willing to discuss it and in fact responded with the exact same words of "we don't talk about that".

I'm a skeptic, but there are some things that have made me question what I take for granted. The stories from Skinwalker Ranch, there is too much reported stuff for there to be nothing abnormal whatsoever about the place, and yet evidence (not just stories) are perishing rare. I want to believe, and down deep I think there is something off about the place, but what? I have no idea.
Same here. Something’s going on at that place for a very long time now. I’m curious about the earliest history of the ranch. Who built it? What happened to the people who built the place? Why are there so many strange events going on supposedly in that area? Who was the man who visited the Myers? Has he appeared before to previous families? And what about the giant wolf the Shermans saw? Was that a guardian deity of the land, acting as a warning of strange occurrences to come?
@@mirandagoldstine8548 Don't forget portals, strange lights and a giant shadow-looking being that walks on all fours at night. I read a book on this place and so far the only conclusion some people have come up with is that this ranch is an entrance and exit to another dimension. Sounds corny but it makes sense with all the random creatures that appear and disappear at this location.
I’m thinking it could be an EM anomaly, like a natural superconducting asteroid impact zone producing a highly powerful magnetic field in opposition to Earths natural magnetic field. People forget that so much of what goes on in the mind is electric impulse, mess with magnetism and you can mess with those impulses which could lead to mass hallucinations over centuries. I would really like to go to this place even if just for a bit, just to see if something feels extremely off about it.
@@misterllamahops True true. I’m thinking a serial killer lived on the land before the Myers and the previous owner told the Myers not to excavate. Most likely there are bodies of forgotten laborers who disappeared during the 30s and 40s on the property with the highest concentration being in and near homestead 2. I would do a little investigating, ask the oldest residents if there were any strange rumors about Skinwalker ranch before the Myers got the land. If I know anything from my knowledge of ghost stories it’s that places that saw a ton of bloodshed and violent deaths have an increased chance of being haunted. The mysterious stranger was most likely a police officer who went to investigate but was killed.
That now makes three paranormal ranches -- Skinwalker (Utah), Stardust (Arizona), and Buffalo (Colorado). As for Bedtime Stories visiting Skinwalker Ranch in person, I think it's a great idea because they could see and experience it for themselves. The same can be done at the Stardust and Buffalo ranches, then notes can be compared on all three places to see how they differ and how they are similar.
I'm pretty stoked they're going to do an episode about Buffalo Ranch. I live in Colorado, and my parents own a ranch out here in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of people have weird and creepy stories going back decades, to the 1970s at least (I'm sure they go back further, but 1970s is when the earliest of the ones I've heard took place).
The entire region has multiple reports of different odd happenings. It’s not just Skinwalker Ranch. The surrounding property owners just don’t want people coming around. The Sheriff’s office is aware of many of these incidents and is respectful of their desire to remain anonymous. There’s a ton more of evidence if you go around the area and speak with those people. Very few people are trusted when it comes to speaking about specific incidents. George Knapp has built a relationship with most of them and has shared some of these stories. He doesn’t say where or who witnessed it but they are similar to what has happened on Skinwalker Ranch. There’s also places around the world similar to this ranch. Very similar in fact. Some places just have thinner spots that allow such things to happen. Who knows what it is but one thing for sure it’s happening. I’m glad we’ve studied it when we can.
@Lynx Actual There is some videos but because the project was funded via a Department of Defense special access program it’s classified. We may never see it. Now there’s some video available that shows odd things being the cameras went out. There’s a factor of what George Knapp called the Trickster. It knew when people were trying to film it and it would damage the camera. I’m not as worried about convincing scientists as others are. There’s enough credible people who give accurate descriptions of phenomenon. Many of these people are beyond reproach when it comes to their honesty. So it’s enough for me but I understand that science needs more data and hard evidence. It’s going to take time and patience with more effort to accumulate that kind of evidence. I mean we still have “skeptics” who are trying to say all the Naval Aviators are hallucinating and wrong about what they saw. It’s laughable really. We haven’t seen the wild evidence yet. There’s more to come. Stuff that will blow people’s minds.
Wow, never made it to a premiere Bedtime Stories episode. And about Skinwalker Ranch, in October where it'sgonna rain at any minute? Nice and spooky. 🎃🎃🎃
I've said this before but this is my favorite channel and Richard is The Best narrator, Nobody could ever take your place. The 3 of you do absolutely wonderful work! Thank You
God this place is so funny to me. SO many alleged anomalous encounters and phenomena, and even with the research of an eccentric billionaire, people are just like “huh this place is kinda weird”
Right? Apparently, you can't even spend five minutes on this property without wormholes, aliens, werewolves popping up, yet in decades they couldn't film a single event, there's only this nebulous "treasure trove of evidence" that they of course don't share with the scientific community and just keep locked up.
When you have a mountain of evidence that you just sit on and do nothing to convince anyone who is questioning the events that are taking place, why the hell do you not go public? You just wind up looking like a fraud even more... this isn't how any scientist worth their salt functions. You're supposed to be expanding understanding and knowledge, not keeping the blinkers on "because reasons." I don't buy it at all.
They'd keep it secret if they thought they could monetize it. Either by selling access or because they think they can use the research for scientific gain in academic and/or corporate fields. Scarcity produces value.
Yeah, this place is the most famous phony shit people wont seem to let go of. My mom was trying to prove its strangeness to me by showing me that show on the history channel about it, and it just reinforced my skepticism. Those clowns wanted every single thing they could think of to seem anomalous. They started on about the magnetism and radio frequencies and stuff and i looked it up and what they were talking about was perfectly normal. I personally think its the creepy sounding name of the ranch that its become so legendary

However, the only tracks besides ours around the vehicle, were coyote tracks.

One of those werewolves hitchhiked onto one of Bigalow’s security officers. He left the ranch and moved to New York; it followed him there. He saw it looking in his window. A piece of advice I won’t forget is don’t go into the ranch with a bad attitude.

This has to be one of the best episodes/stories you have ever made. So interesting and loved that it was a longer one. Why is it so hard for people to believe or even open their minds that things happen that can’t be explained, but could be there. I myself believe that there are things that people can’t explain but are afraid to talk about for fear of being labeled. As I read in one comment, it was mentioned that there is a chance that something happened years ago that created a portal around the SkinWalker ranch. I believe these stories, does it mean I’m crazy? I’ll take that chance. We all believe what is true or untrue
People believe the earth is flat, climate change doesn't exist and different faith systems are a valid reason to massacre each other. I believe that people believe in this sort of stuff because for them the reality that this world is a mundane as can be is a terrifying thought. Call me crazy for that.

Honestly I think you should do a fourth episode that covers the recent investigations into the ranch. The History Channel covered this in a recent documentary.
My Mama was chased by a skinwalker on the Navajo reservation when she was in her teens leaving a party her friends wanted to stay but she wanted to leave So she started walking home in the dark when she 'felt' something evil behind her So she started running, feeling that thing behind her, then she felt a brush behind her back when a truck came over the hill n a man honked, pulled over in told her to get in He saw what looked like a large wolf (?) running on its hind legs trying to grab her before he pulled over He scolded her for being out that late n they were in disbelief of that 'being'! He drove her to her aunt's where she spent the night We're Navajo too so this crazy shite is no joke!
In the late 1960's, I saw a mutilated cow in a pasture where it died; the farmer was in the middle of burying it. There had been odd lights in the field the night before, and in the morning, they found the cow; we arrived late in the morning. No blood, and some parts looked surgically removed. It could not be insects as this is Michigan, and it was too cold for insect activity. It was a chilling sight.
The illustrations are fantastic that's about what it looks like in the middle of nowhere. Excellent job the art is very appreciated. Of course the animation is great along with the narration in story writing 😸
Perfect ending to this video. Now I’m really looking forward to seeing the next one. This really is an incredible channel with top notch content and presentation. I also watch videos done by MrBallen (He’s covered this ranch as well, hasn’t he?), and I now have a healthy fear of…well, everything after watching his content. But, I can’t deny that I’d accept an offer to visit this ranch if one ever presented itself. I’m sure I’d regret everything if anything were to happen while I was there, but it’s got to be safer than scuba diving in deep underground caves. MrBallen’s content may scare me so badly that I want to stay inside my home and never go anywhere, but Bedtime Stories makes me want to ignore that fright and go check out some of these places anyway.

Roughly 10 years ago I was working in Roosevelt, building a detached garage for a homeowner of which the company I worked for had built their home, prior to my employment with that company. We were out there for two or three weeks, I don't recall exactly, nevertheless long enough that I had been able to strike up some conversation with locals where I felt comfortable enough to bring up the topic of skinwalker ranch. Every person with whom I inquired about the place responded with the exact same thing, verbatim. "We don't talk about that" was what I was told. I can respect that they meant exactly what they said and so I segued into something easier to discuss but it does say something nonetheless. I think it must be the case then that there are a fair percent of locals who HAVE witnessed something strange and we're frightened by it enough that others in their proximity all must agree that it's best they never tell people about any of it
Maybe the problem has been tackled on at some point, only to cause more suffering or solve absolutely nothing, so it is easier to sweep the problem under the rug and leave it be. How would one fix a problem like this, involving either supernatural beings or aliens? I can't imagine it being as easy as in the movies where you just flash a crucifix or use weapons.
@@91rumpnisse Or even ghosts. I suspect an unknown serial killer lived on the property before the Myers purchased the land and they used it as a burial ground of their victims
You guys should revisit this series. Part 4 could be a review of everything that has been occuring at the ranch as of late. How launching rockets seems to elicit a response from aerial phenomena, or what they found under the mesa.
What makes this channel so much better than others like it is the tastefulness of the delivery. Others are constantly showing unrealted creepy stock footage and distorting the image at unexpected intervals to make it seem scarier, but you quickly become desensitised to that and then all you are left with are bland tellings of interesting stories. This channel portrays the story through unique works of art at the same time as letting the actual story take front and centre stage. I like this channel so much that I now am avoiding hearing any new creepy stories, because I'd rather hear them here first.
Thank you for making this, and the other wonderful videos that you produce! The Skinwalker Ranch phenomenon has always held a deep interest for me, because I grew up with a similarly strange and terrifying "window area" in my life. My father purchased a few acres of land in rural Oregon in 1987 near a defunct township called New Era. Said village had been a farming community centered around a spiritualist cult that was drawn to the area, a century ago, due to its alarming level of spiritual activity. From apparitions and poltergeists to strange sounds and lights in the forest, and even cases of human levitation, the place where my father made his home has kept us frightened and guessing, endlessly, about what exactly is going on there, and what that might teach us about the nature of reality. As I learn more about Skinwalker Ranch, I feel as though I'm also learning about a place that I once called home. It is a place where members of my family still reside, despite the unearthly happenings, and a place that has fueled my nightmares for 34 years and counting.
The fact that there's radiation and magnetism present is very interesting. If you've ever been in an MRI for a longer time you know how it can fuck with you (I got really dizzy after just half an hour). It would certainly be interesting to study how this combination might affect people long-term, or especially vulnerable folks in short amounts of time. It could maybe explain the time loss or the cows being dazed (though idk how they got stacked like that, that's weird af admittedly). Skinwalker Ranch is one of my favorite series on this channel, I'd love to hear more.
17:22 Absolutely frightening, gave me chills watching that transition. I mean, what do you do? You can’t even say that your going crazy because both experienced it at the exact same time. In that same situation, I would probably have a panic attack.

Even if you think this is fake don’t put others down for believing in it or trying to understand it. Not everything can be explained. Reality can be stranger than fiction. There’s a lot we don’t know about reality
Skin walker ranch stories are very compelling, I believe something is definitely happening there's paranormal and the realm of other dimensions. I've always been interested in this area growing up as a child to now. I'm looking forward to listening and hearing future information and stories about it. I do believe there's other things out there we're meant to discover and learn about as time goes on.

"Another offering to the gods of light and warmth", I like that.

Skin walker ranch stories were what originally got me hooked on this channel!
This was, by FAR, the best episode you've done on the ranch yet, most excellent!
Too many videos come up with the same name, people now latch to popular titles for views. Do you happen to recall the name of the channel?
Nailed it.

This!! So many stories in the area and all their stories or what they saw line up. Esp now that the govt has admitted there are UFOs..
I think theres an odd one in Washington State as well. UFO nightly they claimed.
Also, ECETI Ranch in Trout Lake, Washington.
@@wr6676 Wow, these places are popping up all over! I didn't know there were so many. :D
@@patriciahayes7315 It makes one wonder...

You're supposed to be expanding understanding and knowledge, not keeping the blinkers on "because reasons."
I don't buy it at all.
In the late 1960's, I saw a mutilated cow in a pasture where it died; the farmer was in the middle of burying it. There had been odd lights in the field the night before, and in the morning, they found the cow; we arrived late in the morning. No blood, and some parts looked surgically removed. This is by far the best episode in the many years this channel has been on RUclips. I've rewatched it three times already. Absolutely fascinating.
Well done. Always creepy and unnerving. Love the color addition. Thanks for keeping sleep at bay. haha

I never hit like buttons as fast as I do when bedtime story's has a new upload. Can't wait to hear about the buffalo ranch!
Great episode! One the best BTS episodes yet. Never heard of these stories. This was well worth the wait. And now I can hardly wait for the Buffalo Ranch stories
That was a helluva teaser.
