Thank you for a wonderful pickleball paddle holder. I made one and your directions made it easy to make. I used an old pickleball ball as the marker. Thank you again.
Nice clean design. I made one and rather than the rod and ball marker I indicated “next up” on one end. Everyone knows to either move paddles up to vacant spot or to just grab the next set of paddles. Good job
Thanks for the comment. I think we all have subtle differences in how we manage rotation. I have to admit that my ball method is mostly ignored and folks know who is up next. The rack does keep things much more organized though.
Love this video and the comments. Plan to add a bit of length for three foursomes (12), plus add the U bolt to connect to fence. Great stuff and thanks!
i have a good idea for you to add to the next version. you have the yellow ball on a band or spring. so the ball woukd push on the first paddle. when thet pull it out the ball movds back
Great video. I liked how the trim router cleaned up all the edges. If you don’t own a trim router is there an alternative method? Have you seen a huge increase in lumber cost in your area. I’ve decided to delay some major projects until costs come down.
You can just use sandpaper to smooth down the edges. Limber has come down a bit but is still way up. Good thinking to hold off on projects, I’d you can’. Thanks for the comment!!!
I’m sure it could be designed Oliver. If you make one, let me know how it works out. It seems to me, though, that if you’re going to use a table , you could just paddle stack. This is the second year we have used these. Left them out over the winter and they are still fine. Thanks for commenting?
Exchange the zip ties for "U" bolts to attach to the chain fence. Also, I'd suggest that you may want to paint lines after every 4th paddle hole, or paint different colors (red / white or red, yellow, blue, green) for every four paddles. Prevents confusion and the foursomes know who's up next when moving the "next" ball

Thanks for letting me know, Pat. I appreciate it! Good idea to use a Pickleball as a marker!

What about a non-hanging one that can be used flat on a table with 2 rows of 12 on each side but light enough to carry easily?

Nice design, but should have 12 holes. Most people play doubles , so either 2players or 4 players would go in.
Good thought. You could easily adjust the dimensions to accommodate that. Thanks for watching and making a comment!

Great Suggestions! Thanks! Luckily we have 12 courts so we are generally only rotating two at a time.
Zip ties rot in the Sun. Got another way to hang that beautiful rack?
You could screw to a board on the other side of the fence sandwiching the fence in the middle. Thanks for the comment!
