Gust is a move that nobody uses anymore because it's so damn weak but yeah! Like Thunder it can even hit pokemon that use Fly. Especially those that are 4x weak to Flying lol

Won't lie, I didn't know Gust was one of the moves that could hit flying pokemon. I know Hurricane can, but didn't know about Gust. Makes sense though.

Yeeeah, Pokémon is such a strange game with such niche interactions. But yeah, i only knew about no guard moves, toxic from Poison types, twister and Flying uppercut
@@LucasF25 Oh! Thunder is one that can hit semi-invulnerable flying pokemon too. For Fly, Sky Drop and Bounce. Not sure if it's better accuracy like in rain though in those cases.

It's the same way that "Stomp" and "Body Press" will always hit an enemy after they use "Minimize".

I love these so much because it’s such a niche situation, and most people would never know.
Grassy Surge does actually help grassy glide it becomes +1 priority and does more dmg in gen 8. It got nerfed in Gen 9 due to Rillaboom

*Gust deals double damage when it attacks a mon using Fly or Bounce. It was changed to a flying type move in Gen 2 and added those effects. Funnily enough, this showed up in Pokémon XD as a Battle CD that you had to clear against a Tropius that only knew Fly and that's where I learned it from.
That poor Xurkitree that was missed at exactly 3:21 can't blame Chilln though since it popped up while he was riding his bike across the area, don't even know if he caught another one since I'm leaving this comment during the opening minutes of the video so idk.

Why didn't he send nygandal out to take put kyogore. Sending a bug fighter for for a gust using Pokémon was an awful play.

@fartedididnot3685 no my main complaint that he didn't go for the kill with nigamdel. It was already proven that he could take out Kyoger with roar of time. But no he has to try to kill him with fly. Then send out a slow rock type against a water type. It feels bad rooting for chillin☠️

1. You can only catch a single type of all the types in the game.
If the pokemon is dual type you lose both types.
2. One pokemon from every Gen
3. One random pokemon from each route
4. The wheel spin with all the different Generations but only fighting babies.

Mythicals vs Legends would be an amazing fight
List of moves I know with secret interactions:
1. When you use “Defense Curl” it will double the power of Roll Out and Ice Ball.
2. The move “Stomp” will do double damage to Bug Pokemon and to Pokemon that use the move Minimize and will also never miss a Pokemon that uses minimize.
3. The move gravity negates all air/sky based attacks like fly, high jump kick and so on.
Not only does Gust hit in the sky, it does double damage. Like Twister as well
Absolutely didn't know that gust could hit fly. I can only really imagine it being of any value in specifc nuzlocke cases. Hilarious all time moment in these vs challenges

Chilln getting hit with gust was completely hilarious I knew it was a thing and immediately was hoping quickgg knew it too but he just hit the super effective move and lucked out because of it cheers big dogs funny battle

Okay so i have a very unique challenge. Its called catch, fight, keep!
You go into the wild and go for wild encounters, you masterball what ever you find, you then go back into the wild with the pokemon and fight the encounter with the best possible moves, if you win, you keep that pokemon and fully evolve it at the end but if you lose you have to catch the pokemon you lost to and keep its evolution.
That Gust play was so insane, the more you know I guess

Yep, some wind moves (Gust, Hurricane) can hit you when you fly (same logic as Earthquake/Magnitude during Dig)
Hi Chilln Play and Quickgg. Please do this challenge: 2 grass encounter, 2 fishing encounter, 2 shake a tree and 2 raid dens. Randomize the moveset and abilities and select the best 6 of those encounters.
Idea: you can only choose from the 50 least popular fully evolved with a 30 minute time limit.
Other idea: every round you spin a wheel to remove a type from your options so the further in you get, the fewer CHOICES you’ve got

Gust, Hurricane, and Sky Uppercut all can hit a target in the air. It's always funny when people first learn that.
Oh yea sky uppercut I forgot about that one and it hitting flying Pokémon. God theirs a lot of moves that do. Gust, Hurricane, Sky Uppercut, Thunder, and Twister (not sure if theirs others). They all make sense to be able to hit them I don’t think dig and dive have as much as this (I believe dive only has surf).

Gust is an offensive Flying-type move; it deals damage and has no secondary effect. Gust can hit Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turn of Bounce, Fly, and Sky Drop, and if it does, it will have its power doubled.
I also learned gust hits you in the sky while playing pokerouge and I was as shocked as you guys! 😂😂

The alphabet challenge.
You have 30 min to catch a team, but you have to follow the alphabet. If you don't like a letter, you can catch one pokemon just to move on. Doesn't have to be fully evo to catch.
Quick's idea to keep rerunning it until UBs win sounds kinda fun tbh.

Whatever the number, you must encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails).
Overworld encounter
Random Pokémon
Random abilities
Fully evolved
3 skips
Roll 10 sided die/ spin wheel with 10 numbers to determine feature of Pokémon to capture
Knew about Gust doing that since Gen 2. I was a nerd who checked every move while playing Pokemon stadium 2.

I want to see a challenge, when they collect a random team. When they hit yellow on their health on the Pokemon they can't switch out. There will be lots of planning and risk lol.
I know that Hurricane, Thunder, Sky Uppercut and Gust can hit pokemon who are mid-air after they use Fly, but i have never seen the Gust of all of dem moves to be used this way. That was crazy, once in a lifetime experience, you could say!

I think adding pseudo legends to this challenge would make it more interesting. Either adding them to the ultra beast team or doing mythic and ultra beasts vs legends and pseudos would give a more options to ultra beast team.

Consecutive Capture Challenge
(For Sw/Sh)
Rules: You each catch a dozen pokémon exclusively from random encounters (fishing, trees, etc.). Then, you form teams of six consecutively-caught pokémon. For example: you could take the pokémon from encounters 1-6, or 3-8, or 6-11, any combination as long as they were all caught one after the other. I think you could run it just as well evolved as non-evolved.
If you fancy a knock out format:
Legendary vs Ultra
Mythical vs pseudo
Paradox vs Starters
Fully Evolved (None of the above) vs Anything Else (Pre evos, User Chooses, unlimited masterballs until you have a team of six you like)
Yeah Gust hits Fly and Bounce, Earthquake hits Dig, and if I remember right...Surf hits Dive.

Video idea. 1 guy gets 6 full stage picks, no skips. The other gets 12 mid stage or baby, 6 skips.

You guys should do an OP vs weak team challenge.
One of you has a fully evolved team under 450 BST that has a competitive moveset and held items.
The other has a team with nothing but psuedos, legends, or ultra beasts but everything is randomized and no held items.
Could be interesting.
Yeah honestly the Ultra Beasts didn't have much of a chance. Remember their main gimmick is their Beast Boost ability that raises a stat every time they knock out a Pokemon, without that, they're even lower than most Pseudo legendaries

Gust, Twister, Hurricane, and, I believe, Smack Down, and Thousand Arrows can all hit Pokémon in the first turn of Fly/Bounce for double damage.
I literally just watched a video the other day that explained some hidden tips and there is like 7 moves that not only can hit those in the sky or under the ground or under water but will also do extra dmg (gust, whirlpool, surf, earthquake, fissure, etc.)
Naganagel pre evolution is considered a starter pokemon from the dimension they came from .
Do this again in S/V but do legends vs Paradox mons. Great vid as always❤
