I have 3c/4a hair and I have never scrunched. When using the right products, my curls clump together and are defined automatically, so time is saved!
I have super coily hair too so definitely NO SCRUNCHING. It’ll do all the shrinking on its own chile! 😂

I find scrunching for 3c-4c hair causes frizz. I think anyway. That’s my experience anytime I’ve tried it. Plus the shrinkage is HELLA real when you scrunch if you have a tighter curl.

Happy Curl did you really like your results? I’m asking because the top was a little flat. It seems like you have called your results a fail before that was less poofy & less flat at the top.
I did not expect this collaboration! I love that you guys did a video together. The results looks so good. Voluminous and shiny. 💕 I have a 3c-4b curl pattern and I don't scrunch or my shrinkage would be crazy lol.

Happy to see you two do a video together! I follow you both. I do think that your shade translated better on this video with the zoom-ins etc. lol! Your hair came out shiny!! You two had completely opposite styling goals, but it is helpful to see for those of us with different textures and goals. I like that Bianca doesn’t use silicones like me. My goal as a 4a/b will always be to apply as much product as possible everywhere. ;-)

My hair reacts well to silicone and sulfates. My hair is almost waist length and i have 4a/4b hair. At the end of the day, everybody hair reacts differently to ingredients, so do what works for u.
Proof that you can have healthy hair using sulfate and silicone hair products. Her comment about hair growth sounds ignorant though it seemed she wanted to come across more knowledgeable than Rayna.
@@Jazzerbean I mean according to her sulfates and silicones are bad but colouring ones hair isn't? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Bianca's hair is bleached. Soooo sulfates are more damaging than bleach? Lol

I’ve had this gel for monnnnttthhhsss because of Bianca, but I have yet to try it because I was scared it would be too light lol Rayna, do you think it needs a leave in or is it moisturizing enough on its own? By the consistency of it, I’m scared a leave in might take away from the hold lol
Takira Thompson - I’ve used the dippity do gel and in my opinion it needs a leave in otherwise I don’t get any bounce and it just feels...sticky. The hold lasted pretty well, I got about 3-4 days. It’s a learning curve product for sure. It’s one of my favourite gels for finger coils but not so much for wash and go’s since it can be hard to get just right
So I watched both videos and I’m so here for this collab awesome results. Now I wished the extreme gel lasted a week in my hair!! Only when my stylist does it. But when I do my own wash and goes only a couple of days

I’m 3C and scrunching is NOT my friend lol love these looks on both of you! The Dippity Do gives me great voluminous results, but obviously doesn’t last as long as Wetline since it’s a softer hold.
Good to have different options for different styling needs! I’m not a huge fan of my day 1 wetline hair so this is perfect for when I have to come thruuu after washing 💁🏽♀️

I have 3a-4a so some parts I smooth the gel down and it will curl up on its own but some parts I have to either scrunch or I have to denman twirl it or else it will dry straight. No heat damage just a head full of different hair.

This is so great!! I have 3c/4a curls and I KAINT STAND SHRINKAGES!, so I try not to do anything that would add to shrink- no scrunching.

I have 3C hair (maybe even some 4A). I scrunch only to make sure I’ve put in enough (the squelch sound is your friend), but then I take some more gel and smooth it down otherwise I’ll get too many fly-aways

My favorite gel is LA Looks Wet Look! I have 2b-ish hair. I use a lot of gel but then scrunch out the crunch once my hair is dry.

My go to shampoo & conditioner are herbal essences hello hydration. Does have sulfates and silicones but honestly doesn’t strip nor dry out micros I can use it three times a week and I’m just fine.

Dippity do I love I find it very light when I first put it on but after it dry it has stretch and hold I was like oh my god and I too have 3b/3c/4a. I was beautiful I just wish it had a bigger container..
