I'am 100% sure we get games like this because we have devs that have the twitter mentality i don't go to work to work, i go ti get free food, piss about all day and work for like a hour on the luxuries office or rooftop.
Yeah, the story and characters are terrible and inconsistent and some of the game mechanics just feel plain wrong (most of the physics for starters, from explosions to driving); unarmored spongy enemies taking 5 headshots before going down and the many technical glitches and issues too (i.e. they even re-use your own gang's character models for others); but as much as I hate to admit it; playing it was kinda fun; certainly more than I expected. It's just that I feel the all the roommate-bonding missions should have been first, even before the big opening sequence/mission. And the 'dream missions' when you're buried could have been fun, but so under-utilised, one could hardly even consider it filler. And I guess if there is ever going to be a DLC it's gonna be LARP Season 2.0. I.e. instead of a fun-playing yet very mediocre cringy game that takes itself way too serious; it could have been a SR3 fun-like game with better gameplay-mechanics if they had just fixed that last 10% !!!
