As level 40 you get a wuaest at the hotair balloon in Port Jackson. Once that is done you can change world map when using the balloon and get to TimelessTides. The Armored Sharks are located in that ocean.
There is some known issues related to fish bait. If you have many baits in your backpack will case lag. Do you have baits in your backpack? As for myself I had to reduce from 200 baits down to ~40 baits to get better performance.
I have been suffering from massive lag just recently. I started to clean my bags, spare rods, spare pets, sold fishes. But the thing that gave me the best preformance boost when I started to get rid of all my baits that I had stored in my backpack. I went from 100+ down to maybe around 20. Now the lag spikes are almost gone. Dont know it you could have the same kind of issue, but thats how I resolved mine.

Agree. Spears should still do damage, but very little damage. Immune doesnt make sense.

In my case the egg was the hardest and it took me around 2h 30mins. A tooth was maybe 10mins and a head around 20 mins.
