  • I review the Vasque Satoru Trail LT and the Merrell Moab Speed, two very comfortable shoes but which one is the better hiker?

The Vasque seems to have a wider toebox which is my priority. I'd use them mostly for city walking, and they seem to have a refined look. Great review.

I really like them. The tongue is a little rigid at first. Just stick with it and they will be great.

Throw on an 80lb backpack and do an actual hike before you review "hiking" shoes. Everything you have done in these can be done in any basic sneaker. Hike the Pasayten wilderness loop. Or even Bob Marshall. Then come back and post a review. It's really frustrating watching people review Hiking shoes in their yard. How much can you learn about a hiking shoe in your yard?

Know of anyone who has done the Pacific crest trail in these? I did it with cheap walmart hiking shoes. I'd like to see if they make that much difference for the price. Maybe I'll have to do a real review.

Please share if you get them and test them. Every time I go for a day hike I find myself wearing these shoes. I think they are underrated, probably because they are over priced. They are super comfortable after you get them broken in for your feet.

      @@Dusty_Hikers I did buy them
Got the wide fit. I haven't used them on a hike yet. Most likely I'll use my second pair so they are still new and hike to cougar lake. About 25 miles in and 25 out while camping. Make it a 9 day trip to fish and explore. Most likely around late may.
