    Gordon Ramsay said not to cut the ends off so you dont cry...im confused? ends on or off?

      i just heared that you must o should rinse them and it helps with me the cry is because the acid of the onions

      With a sharp enough knife, the onions won’t release the acid which makes you cry

      You cry if the knife is dull or very thick, knives with a thin blade cut very well :) ( like a japanese )

      The not cutting off the ends is such bullshit. The sulfuric compounds that sting your eyes are *all throughout the onion material* ... not cutting off the ends won't do a damn thing.
