I am here today, not because my mother wanted to abort me, no she didn't but...I aborted mine. I listened to her and my boyfriend and went through with it. The day after I had the procedure I tried to take my life. If I hadn't heard the voice of Jesus, I wouldn't be here today and my son who was 2 at the time would be an orphan. His voice told me not to take two lives, the baby's and mine. He needed me to stay alive because I have a purpose and a job to do on this planet. Just like all the lives of the million babies that were taken while in their mother's womb. I know I will meet Jesus one day and my baby. Please know that abortion is not a quick fix to a problem, it is the root of evil that causes more problems.
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Along with this, the pro life message it holds is one that isn't representative of most adoptees. We are not byproducts of your political stance and it is sick for you to use us as such. We aren't failed abortions.

Along with this it's manipulating viewers by taking something that is incredibly private and putting it into an incredibly flawed viewpoint in order to drum up attention and views, while not actually doing anything to help adoptees themselves. this ad is actually offensive to many disabled people because it's basically just using them as a prop to sell cars, and suggesting that they're only valuable in their ability to potentially become high-achieving athletes, etc and inspire others.

Stunning commercial - I thought at first it is a trailer to an actual life story movie - I was so disappointed to realize it is only a commercial. Would LOVE to see a movie like this commercial based on her life story just like in this commercial.
