Hi Tara, hope you’re enjoying the summer! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the off centre bloom , but it turned out gorgeous, great colours and definitely well proportioned! As for content on your channel I enjoy everything that you share ! Take care and stay well ❤
Tara, I love this ethereal beauty! I save all your mixing videos, and actually, most of your videos. That way, I can go back and find the information I need pretty quickly. Your videos have always been so helpful and full of information you need to create a successful painting. I'm baffled! If you are into fluid art and you need help, information, or inspiration, your channel is the place to go. I'm constantly amazed at how I will love a certain piece of mine, but others will love a piece that I think is meh🤔🤷♀️. So I will give you the advice so many of my artists' friends have given me. Do what you love and experiment with things you are interested in. Even if I don't recreate your pearl and now pearl+texture pieces, they give me ideas, and a Lot of times start me down a path of experimenting and finding a new way I would like to create in. And let's face it, I couldn't recreate one of your pieces perfectly, any more than I could recreate one of my own pieces. All of this to say, Tara, you have a great channel with excellent videos! On a personal note, I love it when you experiment and try new things. One, because you get me excited to try something new and two because you always delve deep into it and give super important tips and tricks! So, there was my 1 cents worth 😋. I always say, "I love my Tara." Sounds pretty self-serving, doesn't it?😉✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Awww! Thank you so much my dear friend. You are always there to give me good advice and I appreciate it. I love to experiment and try new things and there’s a lot I want to try…now I just need to find the time. Much love my friend! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
This is the first time that I've come across your channel on RUclips and watched one of your videos. I don't usually like blooms unless they are off-center or unique in some way but i was drawn in by the color palette. When listening to you talk, you mentioned that you're attending a starving artist event on Sunday in Racine, WI. With further research on your bio, it states you live in Kenosha! OMG, I grew up in Kenosha! I have since moved away to California. I went to Tremper HS and graduated in '84 but i already moved to Chicago by then. Small World! I just love some of your Artwork. I'm now a new fan. 🎊😇🪽 P. S. Nice to meet you!! 🩷 How exciting to meet someone from my hometown!!
Wow! That’s so cool! I’m not originally from here though I’ve lived here for over 25 years. I went to school in Madison and moved here after I was married. My hubby is a firefighter here in Kenosha so I’m sure he knows some mutual Kenosha people to you. Everyone knows a firefighter, right? 😂 Thank you so much for watching and u look forward to hearing how you like my work going forward and hopefully we can meet in person someday! ❤️🙏🏻
My god the dried results!!!! And how perfect was the prehnite choice…?! Stunning. I think the off center bloom is so pleasing to the eye. Have you done a studio tour video yet? That might be a cool idea for a video? Studio tour and paint demo. Also, have you heard of the Color cube? It’s a box of different Color combinations. You open the box, choose a card randomly and use the palette on the card. There’s an artist on RUclips called Denise Love that uses them beautifully. It’d be cool to see the results in a pour or bloom!
I think this is first video of yours I've watched. You do a great job!!Now I need to watch more of your videos!! 💞 This is gorgeous!! I love the color palette!! Thanks for sharing the pouring medium that's working for you!! 🩷
Tear that turned out gorgeous and who doesn't love Blues. And I believe this is the same for a medium that you gave me when I was asking in the shelle art group. So thanks for sharing that. I know I have it written down somewhere but I wrote it down again, LOL I have a over a hundred pieces of paper where I wrote down different color palettes to where I don't even know if I can make sense of them.
I’m loving your bloom videos. You always choose beautiful color combinations. I would love a video about bloom blowouts with tips on how to hold the blow dryer, speed, etc. if you’ve already done one, would you point me to the video? Thank you for continuing to make content that helps me grow as an artist. I hope to one day make it to one of your in person classes.
More blooms! If you’re good at color matching, I’d love to know how to color match Sherwin Williams pewter green in acrylic paints and some great combo colors to go with that color! Tall order, I know 😂
Very pretty Tara! I haven’t tried your recipe yet but I definitely intend to. I love how the dark base shows through your blow out. I’m always drawn to any video that depicts anything organic such as blooms. I’m also drawn to warmer colors. If I’m going to watch a video, I try to comment every time because I know it helps all of you artists. This one is very pretty. 💙
Absolutely gorgeous, Tara!! I also love the idea of not using varnish in the PM. I'm starting to think that some of the issues I've been experiencing may be due to varnish in my PM.
This is lovely!! ❤ Would love to see a tutorial on actual consistency of the paints used. Not sure there is even a way to “show” that. 😂 No matter the recipe- consistency seems to be my nemesis.
I hear you! Consistency is tough when you can’t show someone in person. We do in person classes. Our next one is in March in Dallas. Besides that my advice is to just watch artists that you like do mixing videos and rewind and rewind what they do as to the consistency and then go try to do it. It might take a while but stick with it…same colors same technique until you get it figured out because once you know…you know. Thats how I learned the majority of what I learned…I studied hours and hours on RUclips. Keep persisting!!! You will get it in the end. That being said I can try to show consistency in an upcoming video. 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Absolutely Amazing… blues are my favorite so impossible not loving this 😉. Although I just love what you do as an artist I would love to see you try a mix of brush painting and fluid art. Such as abstract art with a pouring technique over brush painted canvas.
Late to the party, but I love your textured pieces. It's unique and gorgeous! I feel that technique really sets you apart. Have you heard of Gaffrey heavy texture acrylics? When I first saw an ad for it, I immediately thought of you!!!
Thanks so much Erin! Never too late to the party! I appreciate your kind words. I have heard of gaffery. I have yet to try it but I think it would work great! ❤️🙏🏻☺️
I will watch anything you put on. But right now, texture makes me smile. This bloom came out gorgeous with those amazing colors.❤❤❤❤❤ One queston, do you still disburse your pigments with gac100 with this new bloom recipe?
Aww!! Thank you so much Betty! I agree texture makes me smile too. 🙏🏻☺️❤️ And yes! I’m still dispersing with gac 100. It is what works best for me! No varnish!! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Hi Shelley! I actually live in Kenosha. I don’t often come to Green Bay but I do offer in person studio classes here in Kenosha. If you are interested just email me @ info@piecesoftaraartistry.com 🙏🏻❤️
Hi Trudy! When I need a light neutral color palette I usually mix my own colors. Raw umber toned down with titanium white makes all shades of beige/tan. I will add yellow ochre to white to create a cream color, otherwise I use titan buff. You can do the same with TLP pigments. You can add a small amount of Cappuccino to Latte to make a beige bling! I hope that’s what you were asking! ☺️
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry awesome! Thank you! I’ll try those colors. You are so precious to answer me back and I LOVE watching your talent. Happy holidays sweet girl
Of course Trudy! I appreciate each and every one of my watchers. If you take the time out of your day to watch and go the extra mile to comment I am going to dignify you with a reply! Thank you for your kind words and I appreciate you so much sweet Trudy!
Awesome bloom pouring with fantastic lacings and cells Tara👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂

How did you make your spinner. Your work is so great
I didn’t make my spinner. I bought it from Jessica Winterstrom. Her website is www.winterstrom-art.com. This is the smaller one.
Racine, Wisconsin is only a few hours from me. I'm in northern WI. Do you ever come to Green Bay?

Hi Tara, how about a light neutral pallet. The white and various colors of cream are popular in my area. What colors would you use?
