Ed I am willing to bet every person in your Patreon group on that trip will remember it fondly! It is the challenges in life that make it interesting!!!! Such a beautiful site to see with those snow covered trees. Love that you have an Alucab awning on Shadow - I sure love mine!
I havent seen those winterdays in years now, but i know the beautiful silence when dry snow is falling in masses. For me that usualy meant skiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing in the morning. yeeeehaaaa. Awesome video !
Eddie I’m glad you didn’t wreck your truck again. Insurance must be a pain in the “A” for you! The trip…it looks like a blast! Outdoor winter camping is something I would like to do more of. If you come down to Boise Idaho give me some notice so I can attempt to show you a great time. Thanks for the videos and the inspiration!!🎉❤
For a minute there I was expecting to see @softroadingthewest in his Forester pulling Ed out again. Nice to see everyone working together & having a good time. Memories that will last a lifetime
Ed, all I saw was memories being made. The recoveries, the hardships, all the things that make a memorable adventure you had for them. I would have loved it!
Ed, the shots of you having to add the snatch block to winch the sequoia was a great example that I was able to share with my ladies and explain in depth to them! As always great work!
As others have said, even with the recoveries and late setups, I'm sure all your supporters were just happy to be a part of it and be out there enjoying the weather.
🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS @EDWARD SHIN, KATIE, & CHLOE GRACE!🎁 I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut your patrons had a great time. From watching, I'd rather have gone through that adventure than to just drive, park, and sit around a fire talking. While the later would be fine, there is a reason why these things are called adventures. Unless I miss my guess, I bet every person on that trip will remember it with great fondness.
Hands down the best intro I’ve seen to a video. Had to pause just to leave this comment! Kind of jelly too. Let me know when you do another snow run. Would love to come out.
WoW Edward that was amazing and Beautiful !! The show of endurance and Love for offroad really shined, what a great group of people. An unforgettable adventure. 😍👊. Happy Holidays
Ed, my bro...the cinematography of your videos is awesome man! It really draws the attention of the viewer and places you right in action....awesome job! Here's to a happy, safe and enjoyable holiday season for you and your family
Hey Edward, Andrew here @dustyrebeloverland. Very cool videos and trips. I have a rebel myself and I thought I'd share info. Company called Timber Grove Enterprises LLC. They make really cool set up for our rebel. Hope it can help with your extra load. Love watching the videos. Happy Holidays!
Guys that pack their saws by the bar over their shoulder probably haven’t heard the horror stories of loggers who sliced their jugular doing that same thing. A sharp chain is like a razor blade and one slip in the snow could be a disaster.
The saw had a cover on it while he was hiking it up. As you can tell, he is very aware of saw user safety (ear protection, face protection, front clothing cover). All safety precautions were followed 👍
This is an absolutely fantastic point, it's super dangerous to do that without the proper bar cover (the plastic shroud you get when you buy the saw doesn't count). I was running a True North 28" bar cover in the video, which securely covers both the dogs and the chain.
Shout out to everyone that pitched in to clear trees out of the way, both downed trees & Sequoia's (cough cough). Great group of people.
It was great effort from everyone. Looking forward to seeing that Sequoia on the next one!
I actually enjoyed all the winching practice...and a very good lesson for me to air down to single digits.

I hope so! 🍻

Sorry butt I just couldn't resist @EdwardShin @@softroadingthewest .
When the winter conditions are bad, a good attitude goes along way 😃. Looks like everyone had a good time. Thanks for taking us along Edward.

I love that perspective, Jeff. Cheers!
Excellent videos, we Texans only wish of having these type of adventures in snow. Be Safe !!
Awesome episode Edward, loved the edit! That was quite the adventure...things going wrong are so much nicer to tackle with friends.
When are we going to tackle some trails together?🤓
Heck yeah buddy!
Ed, the shots of you having to add the snatch block to winch the sequoia was a great example that I was able to share with my ladies and explain in depth to them! As always great work!
So much can be done with them! 👌
@@KrokemOutdoors exactly! They’ve never been with me during an extensive recovery!
That was probably one of the sickest intros I’ve seen on any overland RUclips video, keep it up I love seeing how you get better every video 🤘🔥
I miss winter camping in WA best time of my life
As others have said, even with the recoveries and late setups, I'm sure all your supporters were just happy to be a part of it and be out there enjoying the weather.
Great video, looks like a fun trip. Those hardships the first night make for better camp stories. 👍🏻
100% never fails for great campfire convo 👊
Great meetup Edward! Glad that @backcountrybeagles joined the crew. Love watching everyone's adventures. Happy holidays to you and yours!
They are an awesome bunch, I’m really glad I met them, especially their cute beagle, Nat!
Looks like everyone had a blast.

Thanks brother! I believe I'll be doing another one in February sometime. Are you planning to come up to PNW again?
@@KrokemOutdoors want planning on it per se, but if you give me some notice I’ll definitely try to make a trip up.
Excellent intro! Great creativity and editing skills.
Beautiful thank you for sharing

Merry Christmas ED, to you and family!!!
Merry Christmas, Tim!
thats one heck of a chain saw
Super enjoyable watching the channel 😀
Free firewood for future use!
😆
Check out the rear tire @ 7:58. Looks like he lost a bead or lots of ice between tire and rim.
He actually did and had to change out that tire for a full sized spare. Wasn’t able to get footage as I was helping with that effort
I just scrolled down to see if somebody else noticed that too.
Bad ass intro....Well done!

I appreciate it! 🙏👊
Very cool Brother! Looks like fun, with a fun group! Could have sworn I was already a supporter, but I was wrong! Joined now brother!
