Today we are out at a strange beach trying to find some treasure.
Let's spend a few hours out here and see what we can find....

Hey Austin, I got my first gold ring yesterday 😁. 14K 2.17grams in 3.5 feet of salt water. Mans wedding band with 3 small diamonds. Finally got the gold!!
Congratulations, I got my first gold ring last November, and havnt found a second one yet, hopefully I find at least one this year

@@digginggopher Thanks! I've only been detecting for four months and this was the first time I went over my knees in the water. I plan to spend much more time in the wet this summer....and will be scooping all the trashy VDI's that I usually pass up on land. Good luck on your future hunts for more GOLD! 👍

Hey Austin, thanks for the mention, and nice meeting you! The funny thing was I was originally working my way out with the tide and then saw you out there. You are right though, not to many metal detectors approach for conversation. But, on the other end of the spectrum I spend at least an hour talking to curious random cool people on the beach every time I go out. Good luck to you out there! Thumbs up! @whatthemetalwithdandawn

Hey Austin! Do you have any recommendations on what to buy to start hunting? I'm Italian btw, and here metal detecting seems a bit less "famous" on the beach and in generral. I'd like to start this to see if I can make some money out of this cool hobby. My budget I'd say would be around 500€ if possible. What gear would u suggest to use on beaches and on ground? Keep up the great content!

I just wear headphones to help me hear the signals when the waves and crowds are too loud. Personally always down to chat with a fellow detectorist!

Really enjoy your videos. I am looking to get back into metal detecting after about a 5 year hiatus. Would you recommend the Vanquish, Xterra Elite or something else for mainly dry land to find coins and jewelry. I used to use a two knob Tesoro Silver Umax for about 10 years straight and did quite well with it, but am looking to get into the 21st century LOL. Thank you for your insight.
I think they are both great, I picked my Vanquish up used for a really good price and it's still kicking strong.
X-Terra has a few more bells and whistles but the Vanquish still works great for what it is.

Hey! Love the channel. I do want to ask you a question though. I’m into metal detecting now and had a good beginners one for some time now. I want to get a more professional one. What would you recommend? At the same time, I don’t want to be spending a lot of money lol. What’s a good metal detector for a decent price? Or could you name a few brands that are good and decently priced?

Hey new to your channel! I was wondering do you have any luck finding silver coins at any of the parks you go to? I have a few older parks near me and I’m hoping to start detecting after Xmas (when I get my detector). Also going with an xterra pro !
I use headphones, and I chat half off the time 😊
Any day is a good day to be out detecting, ring or no rings.

Brother a ring is a ring. I don’t find many rings but I’ve found more silver rings than junk ones

Do you think your elite goes as deep and keeps up with your legend? im torn between the triple score, elite, legend or nox 700
Do you think the newer tech of the elite or triple score would outperform the legend?

Download the user manuals of your considered units, and check out/compare features that interest you.
Your list is very comparable to each other. Keep in mind that Nokta is the most bang for the buck.
I wish I could give you a solid answer but I'm really not sure, never used the triple score or 700.
I would agree with zincoln that they are probably very close.. while some of those detectors have a few more options to play around with.
I don't think you can make a wrong choice, all seem to be pretty solid machines right now. :)

Austin, what do you think, X-Terra Elite has the same jumpy VDI, as X-Terra Pro? Or are there any improvements?
Some days I think it's slightly better but I still notice the numbers being a bit jumpy at times.
I think it does better on the foil, more accurate.

Do you know the difference betwen Xterra pro and Elite? It is not clear for me. Thank you
I think the only real difference is the frequencies. (could be wrong)
Pro uses single switchable frequency 5, 8, 10 or 15.
Elite can either use Minelab Multi-IQ or single 15khz.

whats a good detector austin in the 300 dollar range???
My first thought would be maybe the X-Terra Pro. It's pretty good for a little under $300.
It might leave you with enough to get a pin pointer or extra coil.

3 rings is not 3 rings, they are valuable or not and u failed
Is it OK to store your metal detector in the trunk of a hot car we're talking heatwave 100 + degree weather?
I've done it before but it's probably not a good idea.
I bet it's not good for the battery and plastics over time.
Bring that baby in the AC when available! lol
