Thank you so much for this off-road test. I know that as they say in the comments it is not a real off-road test with very difficult driving conditions but I thank you for doing this test with this specific DACIA Duster fully hybrid 140 model because that is what interests me since it works with the automatic trasmissions and consumes less in the city. I understand that the 4x4 is more suitable for adventurous purposes but in my case this car does is job. I am looking for a SUV because I will soon start working at the markets and I need to have space to be able to transport the products to sell and various materials for the stall (tables, big tent etc.) and for me it is simply perfect, spatcious, aesthetically beautiful, comfortable to drive(since I discovered the automatic trasmissions I have never gone back because I feel much more relaxed while driving, especially in traffic and in the city which is my everyday reality). Furthermore, I am looking for something new that I can keep in the long term and having seen my mother who has the first generation DACIA Duster and in 14 years it has given her 0 problems and we have always managed to transport everything without problems give me hope that it will bee a good choice. I must say that I am amazed at how they have developed both the exterior and the interior, while I never liked my mother's first DACIA duster aesthetically and also in terms of power it is a bit weak, but in the end it always took us from A to B and above all we always managed to make various moves alone with is car, transporting everything both inside and on the roof. With the 2024 model I find it to be a truly captivating line and for me to have a car that gives comfort, is beautiful, spacious and doesn't cost a fortune is the best. I see a lot of people criticizing this brand but honestly if someone prefers faster cars like BMW, Audi, etc. they can take those cars and don't break down to those who instead look for something else from a car. I don't want to spend a fortune every time I put my hands on the steering wheel but at the same time I don't want to give up comfort and aesthetics and I have to say this car has everything I look for in a car. So thanks again for trying the full hybrid for people who have other needs 😊. I will follow your channel.

This is the video which I was waiting for, thanks a lot! To the people saying this wasnt offroad: I bought this car and I will get it in a month. This was enough offroad for this SUV. You saw the capability and you saw the points where this car (with this engine) is reaching its limits unfortunately.
Both the two 2wd versions are now clearly and without any ambiguity city cars. If you are poor or do a lot of road, and driveway you may want the TCE 130 sparing the cost of the hybrid engine. If you are a city dweller that rarely leave civilization, you should go for the hybrid. The LPG is just supposed for people who travel a lot. The only capable off roading is the dedicated 4wd one, which completely abandoned an actual 2wd mode for an improved auto mode which always adapt depending on the road, so the various dusters are now more than ever "specialized" (relatively speaking) rather than all arounders. To me the 4x4 one will still be the most adaptable of all, and the only one who keep the duster spirit
Surely, it looks great, very similar to a premium model like the Range Rover. In any case, it’s good for casual outdoors trails, when you go fishing or looking for mushrooms😀 if you haven’t great needs. There aren’t so many cars around with these characteristics

What is the price difference in RO between the hybrid and standard petrol 4x2 on the same trim level? The Hybrid 140 seems to be a lot more expensive (~3k EUR).
@DusterCoolTravels Thanks. That's a big difference for an otherwise identical car. I was hoping to get an auto, but I don't think it justifies that big a price difference. Pity there's no petrol auto 4x2 version. 😕
but can 17 rims also be put on this model or just on the DUCIA Duster extreme? Do you think that with smaller wheels it would be less difficult on forest roads with the 2WD full hybrid?
Let me know if I undestand correctly. Duster Hybrid 140 has 5 driving modes and one of them is so-called LOCK / OFFROAD mode. Offroad mode usually means 4x4 wheels mode. Right? And, furthermore - is it true that Extreme version has all the equiptment of the Journey-one + some of its own? And, does supporting 4x4 also means that this kind of car, including Duster, has extended grip mode? Reading texts and watching videos all accross the internet - I became a little confused. It is said that Hybrid will come in Slovenia on the July 2. So I really want to be sure that I won't have any missunderstandings.
First and most important: Duster Hybrid 140 is 2WD only. It doesn’t have the 5 driving modes you say. Only the 4x4 version duster has 5 driving modes and it doesn’t have the hybrid 140 engine. It has the mild hybrid 1.2 tce 130 hp engine with manual transmission. The extreme trim level has the modular roof bars and the TEP microcloud fabric on the seats and the interior panels of the front doors. Extended grip is a feature included on the Jogger and Sandero Stepway Extreme models and is not available on the 2WD Dusters ( though it should be).

What the hell means "extended grip feature"??? I never ever heard about this before... What should it do, how should it work (on a 2wd??) and what is the technology behind? Put the car on a scale and tell us what the weight is. Hybrid = combustion engine + electric motor + heavy batterie => might kill one of the most important advantages of the Duster which always was low weight... Probably one reason they didn´t offer this Hybrid as an 4wd. Summary: good looking is the only advantage (beside being aprox. 4.000€ more expensive) 🤣
Very nice conclusion. I seen some test videos about Extended Grip, but I did not see any benefit. It looks like that technology only disable engine power cut when electronics detects wheel slip. Any 2WD technology can't replace even average working 4x4.
