This one was a hard one to pull off, but after several months I give you my sort of "My hero academia, War arc medley" that is loosely based on chapters 283-285. This war arc was just insane and this probably was my favourite moment. I used different melodies from the original series and try to combine them to create a new song. I loved how "Feeling of Paring" was used on the "Now its your turn" moment all the way back in season 3, and I wanted to give it a more epic twist representing Deku finally stepping in and taking his turn on defeating evil. Also wanted to change up a bit Bakugou's main theme into a calmer and sadder version for the moment of his sacrifice. I can't wait to see this chapters animated and listen to whatever masterpiece Yuki Hayashi has to give us.

This fight was a blood bath. Deku constantly destroying his body while inflicting damage on shigaraki and then shigaraki getting burned by endeavour following bakugou's sacrifice.

@Reyniel yeah i’m pretty sure he is. zenitsu’s va hasn’t done as much yelling and screaming as bakugou but doing it too much might cause his voice to hurt. Since demon slayer isn’t much of a long anime and zenitsu only screams when he’s scared, (unlike bakugou who yells all the time) i think he’ll be alright. His voice might hurt though

According to chapter 307 2nd year just started and one month has past since this fight, so the month is march(in this fight) so midoryia is still 16 and shigarakis birthday is April the 4th so he is still 20 but currently in chapter 307 he's 21 since its april

look at this masterpiece and comeback to the present anime, I'm disappointed that the studio don't go all out for ss6
*Deku vs overhaul* and *Deku vs muscular* was WAY WAY! better than what BONES did in this Season.6.. Also the CENSORSHIP stole the whole point fighting a death battle.
Athough CENSORSHIP existed in MHA from the begining but was backed up by the beautiful fight animations (such as in *Deku vs overhaul*, *Deku vs muscular*, *Deku & Bakugou vs Nine* , *Kirishima vs Rappa etc) and also the initial seasons were not meant for excessive gory fight scenes , thats why censorship didn't made much of an impact on us. But Now from S6 we are entering the DARK SIDE of MHA where it *IS* meant to be GORY and if BONES continue its CENSORSHIP LEGACY , then it will also fuck up the upcoming seasons. And the most HYPED and ANTIPICATED seasons will start to go DOWN HILL.
Lastly BONES really want to live upto their fan's expectations, then a substantial increase in budget and no. of skilled animators are reqiured, as Horikishi's artstyle and choreographic complexity of the fight scenes have gotten increasingly difficult in the newer chapters. Or else BONES will start to face criticisms, like they are facing now.
Well lets hope for the best in the next upcoming episodes. Hope they will listen to their fans...
Quick question, do you know what gory means? Like have you actually seen a true gory anime? Darker doesn’t mean gory. It just simply means darker. Like darker, matured themes are being explored in the anime. That can be done without it being gory. Gore is not just about a lot of blood being shed but it’s also the way in which it is shed. An example of animes like that would be Tokyo Ghoul and Attack on Titan but even then, many would argue that it’s hardly gory. I don’t read the manga so I don’t know what is to come, but everything that studio Bones has done so far has been superb and in all honesty I didn’t see the censorship that you guys were talking about in DEKU vs SHIGARAKI, just as I didn’t see the need for more blood throughout the scene. The animation, voice-acting and ost were all perfect in showcasing the characters’ pains and struggle as well as the direness of the situation. I honestly don’t understand what y’all are complaining about.

1:18 is going to be absolutely insane when it’s animated
I'm back, after watching the anime episode I felt disappointed because I expected much more for such an important part. Mostly in terms of animation and soundtrack. The soundtrack they used for Deku's fight seemed tense and I don't dislike it that much but the one they used for Kacchan's flashbacks felt flat. The one you made is just epic, it made me feel sad about Kacchan and I think that was the idea of that part, show how much he has grown and regret the things he have done before. The soundtrack you used for that is just insanely accurate and tbh, it still makes me cry haha. Just look at 5:36, that part of the song hits like a tank and makes you worry about Kacchan as well. I wish we could get a better episode 9 but I don't think that's possible now...
This soundtrack reminds me of United States of Smash, The Song contains points where it sounds Heroic and points where It's only despair. You can really feel it when you listen carefully.

Oh God yes. The music over this fight in the anime was very underwhelming. Someone should've gone to Studio Bones with this song and have it be the official music. Would've been 1000% better than the lackluster one we were given.

Honestly, in a way I was satisfied with the episode dropped today. I do wish the soundtrack was much more epic and it was centered on the fight alone, and that the blood was censored as much, but I know why they censored it. Overall, I'll give the adaptation a 6/10. Hearing this music along with the panels was mindblowing and surreal, I fell in love. I am alright with how they presented it overall, but man... it could've been so much better in total.
I really hope they don't screw up Deku's Rage, that has to be one of my favorite if not my #1 favorite scene from the entire thing so far, if they don't deliver with that moment... I don't know man. Let's all pray for the best.

I've loved Deku's character since I saw the first episode. Seeing Deku become what he's becoming is the most validating, and satisfying experienes in any story I'ved followed. I don't get what the fandom has against him, but when this is gets animated he'll earn their respect

I don’t know what you guys are watching but it’s clearly not MHA cause what you’re saying makes no sense. I swear so many of y’all watch your anime on mute. Everything from the animation to voice-acting and ost were perfect. These three things worked perfectly in conjunction with each other to deliver an impactful scene. Just hearing the desperation in their voices was enough to accurately depict the hopelessness that the heroes felt fighting the LoV and SHIGARAKI. To tell me that you couldn’t feel the intensity of Deku’s attack and the direness of the situation, quite literally gives me the impression that you watch your anime on mute.
@bonk4885 the main issue with the comparisons you’re making is that, most of those scenes that you are referring to are singular defining moments that either ended the fight or lead to a certain development in the story. An example being when DEKU launched himself to finish off Stain with Lida, or even when Endeavour defeated the Nomu. This particular fight didn’t really have that. So naturally those scenes would come across as more impactful. Now when you look at Deku vs Todoroki, one of the main purposes of that fight was to show how unrefined Deku’s use of OFA truly was, which then lead to Gran Torino wanting to help him get better at using his abilities ( a huge development in Deku’s character). So naturally everything was going to seem a bit more raw and gritty. This scenes main purpose was to show how much better DEKU has become at controlling his powers but mainly to show how desperate he was to defeat SHIGARAKI in that instance, however, the fight with SHIGARAKI didn’t end there and he was pretty useless after the fight. So it in latent terms, it was a defining moment not THE defining moment in the fight. There’s a difference and that difference will be shown in the animation quality. Deku’s refinement of his abilities will make his punches look less impactful as he doesn’t need an enormous amount of effort to deliver an properly impactful punch anymore. The difference in quality is so incremental that I honestly don’t see the need for complaints. Also whatever the fight lacks in animation, the voice-acting easily makes up for (unless of course you watch your anime in dub)
@@thabaniabdool1769 If anything I think this moment out of all of them needed all the love and God tier animation tbh. It's the main character and antagonist first real fight for God sake! After so much build up, everything culminates here. And I disagree that the reason the punches have less impact here is because Deku's abilities got refined, I'd say they needed even more impact than other fights we've had. This is the moment where Deku decides to leave everything behind and go ALL OUT on Shigaraki to stop him. If we get the flashback to remind us just how severe the consequences of him doing this could be to his arms, it only makes sense that they make the scene more visceral, and not look like he's just bitch slapping Shigaraki. And a bigger impact in his punches would've also shown how much stronger he's gotten overtime.
Honestly I think people are in the right to be a bit disappointed, because the manga panels even by just being still images delivered so much more impact and movement and sold this scene more than the actual animated thing
@@an683ok9 you make a good case about it being their first real fight and so I can understand the desire for the fight to have “god tier” animation. However, the issue is that you guys are making seem as if the animation was bad, which it honestly wasn’t. It just wasn’t “god tier”. The quality of the animation was good enough so as to not take away anything from the original scene in the manga. Also, I disagree about the manga portraying this scene better than the anime. The manga, in my opinion, portrayed only one aspect of Deku’s emotions and mental state during the fight: that being the anger that he had towards SHIGARAKI hence why he seemed so ferocious in his attacks, but the fact is DEKU was overwhelmed by a series of different emotions throughout the fight. Aside from anger, he felt fear, desperation, sadness and helplessness but I don’t get a sense of any of these other emotions in the manga. The anime on the other hand showcases these emotions effectively, especially through the voice-acting. Remember Deku is still human in this fight and it’s only after the fight that he becomes a monster. The anime showcased that human side better than the manga. (Almost like this was the calm before the storm for DEKU’s character and mental state, if you get what I mean). I feel like people focus so much on the animation quality that they fail to realise just how much emotional depth the voice-acting and ost add to the scene. The manga is missing that extra layer of emotional depth that the anime has.
I keep coming back to these War Arc soundtracks. they are so beautiful, moving, and powerful. Can't wait for more from you.
