Hi guys! Here I present you my second "War arc medley", this time covering Touya Todoroki's reveal. Since the Dabi scenes were kinda scattered around chapters 290-294, this track is more of a theme song, loosely based on the reveal and what ensues and being not as continuous with the actual events of the manga as the last medley. This time I only used two melodies from the series while giving it some original ones from my part, trying to twist a bit the "Kimi no Chikara" melody to form a theme for Dabi, sort of.
I absolutely loved this moment, and even though we all knew, it still left me speechless. Season 5 is almost upon us, can't wait for season 6 to come and blow everything out of the water. Can't wait to hear what masterpiece will Yuki Hayashi use for this specific moment!!

Its so sad to see that he actually wanted to be a hero but his father and mother didn't want to see him hurt himself so he took the dark path and its so heartbreaking bc imagine if he was a hero 🥲🤯

3:18 Love how the Dabi theme cuts back in with the chanting for the panel where Dabi went full devil. It's also the panel where he blames Endeavor again for "his" flames causing another casualty, so the Dabi segment coming back works even better.

I've been listening to this 5 times already at it still brings me chills.
The enemy,the villain Enji and Shoto will face in the reveal moment is soul wrenching.

After many years it is confirmed he is him, himself.
"It is Touya, Todoroki Touya"
Shoto and Dabi move to action,and Enji is absolutely broken.
Someone who wanted to be a hero became a villain.
I just cannot explain how amazed I am at this work of art. The theme just fits everything I love about music - how it feels, how it’s organized, the passion that goes into it...again I can’t fathom how exactly I can say more about this. You balanced out a lot of the elements in each part of the song (from the slight despair and tragedy of Touya, the sadness in his eyes during the mellow moment of the song, till Dabi’s eventual fight and reveal to Shoto and Enji) as well. My gosh...no matter how many times I replay it, there is simply no way I wouldn’t not get goosebumps. Amazing job, I’ll follow your channel from here on out!
On a side note, this legit inspires me! It makes me want to attempt a composition! What amazing song designer do you use? Is it FL Studio? Or something else? (I will fail miserably, I can feel it)
@@kisuno6175 Actually I only used the garage band version for ipad, currently looking for another program. Garageband works fine but it's very limited on instruments for this kind of music (more suited for electronic or pop), some functions are wonky and the number of tracks is limited too, but it's a nice place to start composing 😁
@@aige0937 Holy...garageband? That's some level of talent! I might have to try that if I can execute something similar (not). I don't necessarily have another program in mind, but I'll try to recommend if I come across something else! Understandable on the tracks, since garageband is indeed limited (I have tried the program before, but not to the extent you did), but still! That just speaks volumes of how well you did a great job! Garageband...my gosh.

Funny story, I actually tried to make one for all the War Arc medleys I've made and planned on releasing it a while ago, but it got copyright strikes hard, so I never ended up posting it, hopefully soon I'll be able to fix that!
Welp…BONES actually delivered. No doubt obviously your ost is waaaayyyy better, but I’m not gonna lie there music wasn’t even that bad, the scene was executed well.
I’m still confused why they didn’t use the “todoroki’s counterattack” ost from the 3rd movie, I really thought they were gonna do something with that but guess not.

(I’m pretty sure you know what I’m talking about) that hit of the todorki theme they always use, they shoulda played that while he was jumping and charging the prominence burn. Plus it’s supposed to sound heroic cause in Dabi’s eyes that’s how he feels right now.
HECK AIGE 09’s soundtrack was heroic as well (the last part not the whole song)

YO!!!! Just came back from watching MHA S7 Ep8. And BRO!!! Hearing this song (or at least a variation of it) was sick!!! I'm so glad it was included, cause this song is the perfect theme for Touya imo. It incorporates his resentment, and hatred. The only things that kept him alive this far....

No doubt, this was the day of reckoning for the Todoroki Family. Not only discovering Touya was alive, but worked on a plan to mentally break his family, which no doubt came to fruition as seen here.

His fire burned out his hairs pigment.
That was never confirmed? Pretty sure his hair just turned white because of his mom's genetics, which will make more sense in the anime when the later season comes out.

@@Fwends0 ya I read the manga. They are kinda doing the MVA arc dirty tho. Its a bit dissapointing. I'm not saying the season was bad by any means but it didint really elevate the source.material that well.

They should have done the MVA after 1a-v1b so it lined up perfectly with the timeline. The only reason I think they did this was because it “builds suspension or something but even then it’s like wtf yk?
@@Fwends0 I personally think that this season would've been perfect if they cut out the filler in the middle, cut out the recaps, and shortened the endeavor arc, give more episodes for mva, and give mva its own opening. I personally liked the idea of switching up the arcs as it balanced out the tone shift in between arcs more but the execution was terrible.

Well, I was just re-reading the war arc one day being sad on how long it'll take to see it animated and wondered what song could fit in there. I came up with something cool and decided to try and make it. In short, these medleys were originally made just for me to cope with time, as a "in the meantime, we have this" kinda thing 😂.
I can't wait to see what Hayashi does for these scenes, I'm sure the songs will be godlike!!!
