@@gamma626 ...I think it means that you need to hold on to what you love and use that fuel you're fighting spirit. It's not a deep line bro, it's pretty self explanatory. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or serious.
So here's the thing: coming into this blind, not knowing any context for this thing...
I have zero fucking idea what the plot of this is. The trailer gave me ZERO information beyond "there's a prophecy about a princess who brings peace and this jaded warrior woman who's maybe said prophesied princess"
Zach Snyder's work started to make a lot more sense to me when I learned he's a hardcore Ayn Rand fan and Objectivist.
It's characters in his movies tend to make sacrifices of "personal values". Sure, Metropolis was destroyed and thousands are dead, but Superman killed a conquering despot and that's what we're supposed to feel bad about; Why Jonathan Kent can get angry at Clark for not letting a bus full of children drown, then later die in a situation where he could've been easily rescued (his death was pointless, but he was MORALLY affirmed); It's the reason the ending of Watchmen changed, because Ozymandias is a billionaire with a vision of single-minded self-interest, so why wouldn't the accidental god be demonized?
If Clark rescues his father there...most likely he ends up as Supergirl in the flash..and something would most likely happen to the people who witnessed it too
The shot at 0:45 is a reference to the cover of Hyperion which is cool, still not gonna see it though
Whenever I hear the name Zack Snyder I'm reminded that Suckerpunch was his passion project and it makes me not want to watch any of his movies.
That's your problem.
@@thewitcherking937why because sucker punch sucked and blowed?
@@Raine749 it didn't.
@@thewitcherking937 it really did.
@@Raine749 it really didn't.
God, it's like a movie version of Duke Nukem Forever. Where they essentially wanted to make 'everything that was popular at the time'. This looks like Snyder just looked at every epic hollywood flick over the last 10 years and was like 'ok, add that'. Might as well call it Movie: the Movie
If they'd replaced all the pretentious trailer lines with VJ Emmie going "MOVIE MOVIE MOVIE" it would be infinitely more entertaining.
we have star wars at home
I wish Zack could find a good writer who can make his style work while delivering genuinely good films even if the effects or acting arent perfect
Zack Snyder still doing his shallow focus thing
Wait is this gonna be based on the book based on the game by fenris wolf?
I can't believe that no one has mentioned what this is actually ripping off: Warhammer 40k.
5:04 It's DH! I can't pronounce his name that well so I'll call him DH because he's the best actor since he did in other films like Blood Diamond or Shazam.
I still dont understand why this was shown at gamescom
He's partnering with dev studio to make a game in rebel moon universe, so it kinda makes sense
bro is tryna do Doon
Holy shit this movie was so bad lmao. It felt like I was watching a parody. I hope YMS covers it.
Hack Snyder continues his crusade of cinematic excrement.
Star wars mix with Dune and Star Trek also with The Whale
This movie is gonna be a DUMPSTER FIRE !! after that dogsh!t zombie heist movie i have LOW/NO expectations for Zack's Netflix projects
RUclips is gonna star charging for 4k videos because the are too expensive to host of servers ADUM!!!!
8:51 its because the director always have to be blurry and very grayish ugly quality that it almost felt very depressing sometimes and I hope its the same cinematograpy who done Man of Steel to be very shaky. Eww Im getting a headache.
The funniest thing would be the reaction from Zack Snyder's fanbois
i *literally* thought this was a new Disney+ Star Wars movie...
Zack Synders presents dune mortal combat fury road the lion the witch and the wardrobe star wars the way of water ? 😂😂😂
4:26 yo she turned into a ripoff of Joan the Arc! Like lol.
Big brain Zack doesn't need a Snyder cut for this one, he just need to cut the movie and two and release them separately! Already made it blatantly obvious by releasing both parts with only 4 months apart from one another.
nope still needs a snyder cut even for the first part lmao
THIS JUST IN! ~LEAKED~ AI GENERATION PROMPT FOR TRAILER:
Zack Snyder, masterpiece, epic, Star Wars, Dune, 16k UHD, four-armed muscle monster, lightsabers, cringe, nsfw
1:14 "looks boring" after watching 20 sec of a 4 min trailer 😯
But yeah the trailer looks super ass
And he had the exact same opinion finishing the trailer. I don't see the problem
I don't understand why Adum's sheep always send him trailers they KNOW he's not gonna care about and he's not the audience for. His take away is always "looks like shit, not gonna watch". It's pointless.
His whole thing is shitting on movies he doesn't like. His channel is literally titled Your Movie Sucks. This is the audience he has cultivated.
@@MochaRitz when it's a movie he has no interest in at all, his commentary isn't even that entertaining. It's best when it's a movie that he genuinely dislikes or has enough objectively bad stuff.
At long last, a film with both of the actors who played Daario Naharis.
Zach is a complete hack at this point in hindsight the watchmen seems like a fluke or he had a good creative parter working with him.
His adaptation of Watching wasn't good either. Because he missed the whole point of the graphic novel, with all of it's complex themes, subtext and nuanced character development being non existent in the film. He just made an edgy comic book movie with lots of violence in it, which was non existent in the original graphic novel.
*Watchmen
Also for some reason I'm having difficulty trying to edit my comment on my phone but it won't let me.
@@danzig3462 yeah I guess I ment In terms of how much profit it made the studio because as we know just cause something is popular doesn't make it good necessarily.
I am just super glad he never got his hands on the killing joke or Gotham by gaslight two faves of mine, I could see him ruining both stories with a sucker punch type it was all a dream or hallucination.
@@ollyx2 His Watchmen movie flopped when it came out. It might have made money on DVD though.
@@danzig3462it wasn’t a good adaptation of the comic, but it was a good Watchmen movie.
There are a bit too many shots in this trailer that are desperately trying to look like Warhammer 40K...
Zach Snyder's Mortal Kombat
0:15 Funny enough they announce the 4K quality by seeing "Birdbox: Barcelona" and that's a good-looking 4K trailer. Too bad no 4Ks on Netflix trailers.
Weird fantasy sci fi mishmash. It’s Star Wars combined w Chronicles of Narnia
It's based on a rejected star wars script
Something that looks like this movies budget, but Red Rising id be way more excited for
Hollywood sucks at doing sci fi except for dune and that took like 3 tries
Edit: oddly looks like warhammer 40K guardsmen
this feels like a movie that would be like. in a movie instead of star wars bc the director couldnt get the rights to star wars. theyd show this trailer on a tv and everyone watching would know that its supposed to be star wars lmao
Looks like a trailer/movie generated by AI. Derivative to the extreme.
