Great point, what does waiting do in a positive way? The money won’t change he will still want 60 per and if he walks we get only a comp pick. The move is get something for him now draft a qb and start Lance for this season as rookie gets a year to learn

Dallas won’t be taking a QB. But if they did I wouldn’t wait for a QB to fall ...I’d be more aggressive and go get the player I want.

There’s also no guarantee cooks doesn’t get a new contract. He had a slow start last year- until they kind figured out how to use him. Another year under his belt here and he might just show you how much is left in his tank. He can still play, they have to find a better way to incorporate him into this scheme and system. Cooks had a 1000 yard season in 6 seasons with a bunch of different qbs. Yet he couldn’t get that here in Dallas. 54 receptions, 657 yards, Avg yards per play 12.2 which is a norm for him, 8 tds. Not a bad season considering the slow start and them not finding ways to use him early on in the season last year. He still can be a dawg on this team this year and maybe gets him a new contract even if it’s a short term 2 year contract.

I don't have much faith in Tolbert being a #2 . Not sure about him being a good 3 even.

Dallas fans. We have FINALLY STOPPED going 2 over to 5 under .500 every year. If we fire McCarthy we are likely to get used to records like 6 to 9 wins for maybe 5 to 10 years. Whatever they are doing it is working. Sign me up for a decade of 12 win teams and playoff appearances because there is a Super Bowl in there somewhere.

We all need to sit back and let things flow! Dak is the man get over it, for now anyway. This team still has a stacked core. Our coaches will have these recent draft picks ready to step up this year. We are far from falling apart. The draft will be executed well. Everyone needs to chill.

Penix, Nix and possibly McCarthy are the only ones I can see sneaking down.

What are you talking about Nick? Aaron Rogers fell to the 20's and he was a generational talent.

NO ONE KNEW Rodgers would be so good. Also people thought obviously he was just another weak QB.

I’m honestly tired of the trading Micah discussion.. nonsense

I like knowing all the details and ins and outs of every angle , even if it's not something I'm wanting to do.
With rules these days all out stopping defenses I might would trade very reluctantly Micah before Lamb if the situation ever called for trading 1 of the 2.

We keep talking about replacing the Center position. Is there a true center, like is this a draft where there is a Travis Frederick true center. Cause if not, what if we have a center in Hoffman. A dart can be thrown at some point in the draft for a center, but we should draft a guard or tackle at 24. Linebacker at 56, Rb round 3, DT, cornerback, safety, and receiver- for the remaining picks for needed positions. We are still talking about just buttoning up for this lame duck situational season as the following year is a start fresh, new HC, possibly new QB, and so on and so forth in the year 2025. All that could mean a total change in team composition, different schemes, philosophy, etc. we are just gunna get thru this year, your not drafting players for a coach that you probably won’t have after the season. The next head coach shouldn’t have to walk in to a bunch of players he feels he has to work with that he doesn’t find the fit for said players in his scheme.

Stop talking about Romo as if he was great. A great QB makes his teammates look good. A great QB can lead a team to @ least one Super Bowl. How many SB did Romo play in, ZERO. He was overrated big time. Jake D. got Carolina to a SB.
