Bardon on a trade back and pick up an extra pick.
Cowboys are just bad in negotiations .. Ceedee should have been done.. Amari cooper for a 5th?!
Dak Prescott no trade clause and giving him EVERYTHING he wants.. they are the worse.. Jaylon smith was horrible.. Zeke was horrible.. the only contract they won was Tyron smith back in year 1930 ..
we can’t make a living on 1 year deals and final year contracts
Problem is their timing. Teams that sign obvious starters early rather than last minute tend to do better with the cap. I.E. The Eagles, 49ers, Bengals etc. They should've signed Dak the year or maybe 2 before his Rookie deal was up. They've made it a pattern at this point. The last time they signed someone on time was Romo.
Doing it like this players will get the new max value. The value of players rises as everything else around them does. It would hurt the players market if a player took a major cut from the market. I mean look at the contracts Kirk Cousins has signed. It's because the teams are signing him straight out of free agency or at the tail end of his deals.
