The truth is, is that you live in a much more beautiful place than in that picture! You and I live in a place of pure ravish! Earth is filled with such wonder and all you have to do to see it is to take a look around. Fields of endless gold of barley and wheat, the infinite blue of a cascading ocean, the limitless green of a mighty rainforest, and mountains that reach up and gently brush the sky with it's rocky fingertips - And best of all, this world is created just for us!
Baldur's Gate.....Neverwinter Nights.......Morrowind........Oblivion.....Guild Wars THEY REMAIN THE BEST RPG GAMES EVER! And this music playlist is fenomenal, epic and GREAT!
If you immerse yourself within the music and let the feelings and meanings of the instruments wash over you, some of this music can actually bring tears to your eyes.
The best part of morrowind for me as a kid using the paper map in the box to find my location and plan ahead kids these days will never have a kinda experience like that
I love that text of yours! Sure the world is created for us to love, see and take care off. And "us" is all of us, humans, animals, vegtebels! We all share this lovely world! Blesses to you all, and peace!
sometimes the beauty of a place in a picture ist just that you dont know what is behind the things you can see. when i wander around i can see places that look so beautiful an magical from the distance an when you are there it's just nice. I love those pictures like thisone, when you can only imagine whats behind that hill and behind you that makes it so mystic and you can feel that yen to see distance places
In case you're like me and keep losing track of which track it's at, Here you go.... 0:00 - Skeleton of a Town (Icewind Dale II) 1:21 - Call of Magic (Morrowind) 3:17 - Opening Theme (Guild Wars) 4:53 - Under the Dark Span (GW: Eye of the North) 6:19 - Reign of the Septims (Oblivion) 8:09 - Easthaven in Peace (Icewind Dale)
I think we have all forgotten the gaming time-period Skyrim was released in. As such a big open-world, it was a pioneer to its new genre of fantasy. It's lasting effect to make us compare it to games nowadays only shows how good of a game it really was and STILL is.
the very first song that plays brings back oh so many memories. Loved Icewind dale 2 then and always will. Personal favorite thing of the game is the voiced tales of what your doing told from the perspective of Oswald Fiddlebenders niece at the intro to each chapter
Just made it to the Severed Hand. Only took me 10 years and 5 playthoughs. Savoring the moment... my second mage has six Fireballs consigned to memory, and Flint the Barbarian is wielding the Club Of Destruction +3. The time is almost upon us... XD
No matter how great Skyrim is, and how great the tales you can imagine to it are, it will never lead me so far astray as Morrowind and Oblivion did. They took me to a world unknown, full of magic to be cast, horror to be felt and adventure to be waged. Thanks for taking me back to this world for 9:26... you just made an RPG-veteran happy.
Melissan (BG2: Throne of Bhaal - Inon Zur) Kuldahar (Icewind Dale - Jeremy Soule) Heart of the Forest (Neverwinter Nights - Jeremy Soule) Night on the Plains (Baldur's Gate - Michael Hoenig)
A beautiful way of looking at the world, save for the strange hubris of your last sentence. We are a part of this world, and have evolved within it. It does not belong to us; nor was it created for us. The fact that life seems to be so rare in this universe makes being alive much more magical and wondrous than it could be if we, and the rest of nature, had simply been willed into being. Existence is exhilarating. Inserting wishful thinking into one's worldview is in my view tantamount to heresy.
The pleasure of a fantasy is that is a dream,Facts are what guides our knowledge,Morals are what makes your choices bad or good.Life is about living not to serve some higher power that isn't there. You act as if we there is no gratitude you are wrong about what you have implied through your speech.Philosophy is not you're strong suit I'm glad you felt the need to share it on RUclips but it is irrelevant.
Besides the graphics, quests, ui, plot, middle finger to PC, broken patches, delayed dlc, the actual dlc, level system, scaling system, combat, magic, alchemy, fast travel, dungeons, voice acting, replayablity, and factions. Yeah, it was a masterpiece.
Skyrim was not out yet, when this clip was made. But the song definitely was. I remember hearing the song when the game was first announced in December 2010.
Hey i have a question. I am wotking on a game project and wanna know if i can use this song in my project ? i will also add credits from who is this song. So may use it?
Ahh, Targos Town. I got so annoyed when I encountered enemies in the beginning because when I did, this song got replaced by the combat music and then didn't come back until I reentered the area.
Guys skyrim keeps up the tradition of the elder scrolls games. It is not about the combat it is about pure freedom of doing whatever you want how ever you want and getting you immersed in a awesome world. Plus the main quest is a very small part of the game as a whole. There are side quests that are just as big as the main and are often better and there is no way to say you have completed the game unless you have explored every foot of ground and done every quest there is.
Usually it is nostalgia. But in the case of Morrowind, the game is really just that good. In the creation of the atmosphere of Morrowind Bethesda literally touche a peak that very, very few things have ever reached. And I can say that, because you CAN play the game todya, run it with a couple visual mods that put it up to date (the water becames just incredible), and have those same feelings you had when 10 years ago you let yourself drown in the amazing land of Vvanderfell.
I agree with you on that one, though closing the gates did get tedious after a while. I started to take two hundred mile detours to avoid running into those things
Nice view of the Imperial city there... Morrowind's soundtrack will always be the best in the world, but TES have got it nailed music-wise, it's perfection ♥
would just like to point out, the second track isn't called Call of Magic, but is in fact Nerevar Rising. Other than that, awesome selection, hope to see more in a similar vein!
You know what is sad? Earth is just as beautiful as this but most people will never get to see any of it. Ive lived in the city all my life and basically thats what i think all of earth looks like. I see picture of the green hillsides, beautiful mountains and amazing fall foliage, and its like a fairytale something that i will never experience. Idk just just going back and forth to work everyday for nothing is starting to stink.
thats what makes it so much better. more of a challenge. actually following someones directions instead of some dumb ass arrow that magically points to everything.
The guards heavy footsteps echo off of the murky walls. With each growing step your mind wanders, who will they take away this time? Your heart races, as he slows down, just a few cells down from yours and opens his scroll, clearing his voice preparing to read off the names of the unlucky inmates who's turn it is to face the gallows.
Fist one is the soundtrack of the video game " Icewind Dale 2".... The second one is the soundtrack of "Morrowind" , the best of the TES... The most harder to finish !!!
*Actually*, not all of the gates lead to Mehrunes Dagon's realm, and in fact there are at least 2 other Prince's realms that you can enter, but as I said, even they look very similar, and if you read the Planes of Oblivion entry, you'll find that each plane is supposed to be very different in appearance. They got it right with the Shivering Isles expansion at least, but even if all the MQ gates were Dagon's, they are still lazily copy and pasted.
actually, I find that it is usually change that starts the hate wheel rolling. it is only fully accepted if it is undeniably better than the previous. Thing with this series is that because all the games are good in their own ways, it is really up to personal preference. so of coarse the fans previous games will hate on the new one because it is different.
Everyone, SHUT UP AND ENJOY ALL THE GAMES WE LIKE. Everyone has their own reason to hate or like a game, everyone is different. If we all liked the same game, it would be boring. So shut up and enjoy the experience of whatever kind of game you like. If it's COD or TES, doesnt matter. Games are made to have fun, so have it!
But that's the thing. Skyrim didn't give you enough choices. In Oblivion you can fool around early on sure. But if you put all your majors as mercantilism, speechcraft, alchemy, etc. You're going to be screwed if you don't level some combat stuff. You actually DO have to build your character at least somewhat appropriately. The way they changed damage and stats in Skyrim, all leveling combat skills does is makes the fights go by slightly faster, you canstill chug potions the entire time and win.
Okay let me revise. A lot of ppl were hating on Skyrim so I just meant to say when we all heard about it we went, "OMG OPEN-WORLD!" So now only 2 years later ppl are comparing it to other open-world games and I just meant to say it was the first 'big' open-world game.
That was special, best game on the xbox. It is a classic, If you have a PS3 you can play it. The PS3 has to be backward compatible (the old versions) and you have to use the Cobra USB. I have never played that good game for years, until now. Just that it should be a longer game. Dark Alliance and Gauntlet Dark Legacy are freaking the best!
Consider this thought. In my opinion its alot more human and grand to do nice things because you want to, not because youre obligated. So the thought of not to be held accounteble for your actions and the fact that you dont need to have moral makes kind gestures even greater. I´d like ppl to be nice to me cuz they want too be nice to me, and I dont want ppl to be nice to me cuz they fear to be punished by God or something.
Not surprised that Jeremy Soule composed most of these.
First song is from Icewind Dale 2: masterpiece!
Andrea Maroni A͟G͟R͟E͟E͟D͟
The first song is one of my favourites; brings back the time when I was playing Icewind Dale 2 when I was just like 11.
Morrowind! Best rpg track ever! Only challenged by Lord of the Rings music!
so true
This relaxed me so much. I had a really rough, stressful day and for 9 minutes 26 seconds, I was completely at peace. Thank you!
The truth is, is that you live in a much more beautiful place than in that picture! You and I live in a place of pure ravish! Earth is filled with such wonder and all you have to do to see it is to take a look around. Baldur's Gate.....Neverwinter Nights.......Morrowind........Oblivion.....Guild Wars THEY REMAIN THE BEST RPG GAMES EVER! And this music playlist is fenomenal, epic and GREAT!
those soundtracks are so beautiful that they make me cry.
Listening to this epic fantasy music while writing books is amazing! I'm definitely going to remember to listen to this next time!
If you immerse yourself within the music and let the feelings and meanings of the instruments wash over you, some of this music can actually bring tears to your eyes.
The best part of morrowind for me as a kid using the paper map in the box to find my location and plan ahead kids these days will never have a kinda experience like that
You're so right. Sometimes I wish games would still be like that nowadays.
'Kid' and 'Morrowind'. Haha, you're so young.
I love that text of yours! Sure the world is created for us to love, see and take care off. And "us" is all of us, humans, animals, vegtebels! We all share this lovely world! Blesses to you all, and peace!
1:43 i see you sneaking some elderscrolls in there
Its good old morrowind :)
the picture is from Oblivion i think.
Morrowind i a previous Elderscrolls game
its literally the main theme from morrowind
sometimes the beauty of a place in a picture ist just that you dont know what is behind the things you can see. when i wander around i can see places that look so beautiful an magical from the distance an when you are there it's just nice. Dear sir or madam, opening this list with Icewind Dale is of very good taste. You have just made my day.
I think we have all forgotten the gaming time-period Skyrim was released in. As such a big open-world, it was a pioneer to its new genre of fantasy. It's lasting effect to make us compare it to games nowadays only shows how good of a game it really was and STILL is.
I miss the epicness of Oblivion's orchestral score :(
Where's Believe- The Witcher Theme, River of life, The Dike, Vizima outskirts night.
actually The Witcher 3 was launched 4 years ago, and this playlist was launched 7 years ago, so..
Luis Gustavo he’s talking about Witcher 1
the very first song that plays brings back oh so many memories. Loved Icewind dale 2 then and always will. Personal favorite thing of the game is the voiced tales of what your doing told from the perspective of Oswald Fiddlebenders niece at the intro to each chapter

Easthaven Theme has to be one of the most beautiful composed for any game
Goddamn, Icewind Dale soundtrack never fails to send an epic shiver up my spine.
mannnnnnn You made me cry!! this is what I want. to live in such a world
Oblivion Soundtrack - Peace Of Akatosh and this in the background perfect combination
No love for Icewind Dale ost ?
All fantastic games, and would agree with you sir, greatest music ever lol brings back a lot, long live Mr Jeremy Soule.
Beautifull! Absolutely amazingly described the world that's been given to us, to love and to care. Only sad thing have gotten out of way.
6 years and Oblivion is STILL a masterpiece
14 years and Oblivion is STILL a masterpiece :)
WHERE'S GOTHIC 3?
Great music for relaxing and inspiration...
Enjoy it all, People!
This is my wild Saturday night on the town.
Melissan (BG2: Throne of Bhaal - Inon Zur)

Nick G Fallout 3's theme is pretty awesome.
***** No He is Mozart in disguise
Where is that picture from?
It's oblivion, imperial city walls on the right
Ah, thanks
@@coroiucosmin160 lol
Oblivion Soundtrack is my favourite music I've ever heard in any game...
I totally agree with you. The world isn't made just for us and it is extremely arrogant to say such a thing.
Well chosen. These are definitely top shelf.
Amendment; Wow the Guild Wars theme really took me back, not heard that for years.
The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion. My first RPG game, and my first Elder Scrolls game. I love it :)
Awesome. The Elder Scrolls music gives me chills.
Icewind Dale had the best tracklist ever, god I miss that game
Besides the graphics, quests, ui, plot, middle finger to PC, broken patches, delayed dlc, the actual dlc, level system, scaling system, combat, magic, alchemy, fast travel, dungeons, voice acting, replayablity, and factions. Yeah, it was a masterpiece.
Just say.
The Elder scrools series is my best childhood.
Allways remember those times
Skyrim was not out yet, when this clip was made. But the song definitely was. I remember hearing the song when the game was first announced in December 2010.
some great classics here
I always searched for the first one :D Thanks
And awesome that you are using Elder Scrolls Music too :D
The Elder Scrolls is and will always be a masterpiece.
Hey i have a question. I am wotking on a game project and wanna know if i can use this song in my project ? i will also add credits from who is this song. So may use it?
+Enej Šrok You would have to ask the publishers of Jeremy Soule or Inon Zur and they would probably say No.
Among all epic game soundtracks Morrowind theme is one step in ahead. It's just something you can't argue with.
Morrowind's Call of magic is sooo nostalgic :) and so good. Thanks
Ahh, Targos Town. I got so annoyed when I encountered enemies in the beginning because when I did, this song got replaced by the combat music and then didn't come back until I reentered the area.

This is awesome it really adds flavor to the game table thank you
Nice poem to describe the world of fantasy!
and about the Dion Theme ^^ i missed it
but that is a amazing video , congratulations ^^
I agree with you on that one, though closing the gates did get tedious after a while. I started to take two hundred mile detours to avoid running into those things
I feel the same way about the fallout series. Its been 5 years since Fallout 3 came out, and I still play it time and time again.
OMG I am running off to these far off valleys to create my life in freedom!!
i could be wrong ..but waznt this song or part of it on icewind dale 2?
Nice view of the Imperial city there... Morrowind's soundtrack will always be the best in the world, but TES have got it nailed music-wise, it's perfection ♥

this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read!!
Great compilation, thanks!

If you look carefully to the clouds... you can move them... and the grass will grow, and the wind will como over the land

i'm trying to get music for a D&D campaign, any suggestions?
Good ol' Morrowind and Oblivion... those were the days...
Well, I'm drawing right now and this sound is sooo inspiring!
Fist one is the soundtrack of the video game " Icewind Dale 2".... The second one is the soundtrack of "Morrowind" , the best of the TES... The most harder to finish !!!

Tears of joy and bliss.
but do you have to pay a monthly fee to stay in it?
Icewind Dales, Baldurs Gates', Neverwinter Nights -> best RPGs ever.

Best. Fantasy Music. Ever
I like how you just used the side of the imperial city wall and the sunset form Oblivion, it made for a good theme with the music....derp:P
i love these rpg songs theyr are ALWAYS better than many song that make sucess these days

Morrowind and Oblivion the BEST! And I would say the best parts of the series
Morrowing music, can't beat it, its too awesome!
Head and shoulders above games of it's time. But still below the feet of Morrowind.
