Beautiful !!!
Thanks
I like the back and forth on a panel technique because it seems easier
Me too
👊👊
👊🏽👊🏽
Great Video! I have a hard time walking the panel. That mdx came out great!
You guys make learning this trade absolutely satisfying. And I'm just a DIY'er. Thanks for the time you put in
Thanks for the feedback 👍
@@setthehook4me you’re welcome!
Great video! I wished it was longer
Thanks! Me too. It was a salvaged video lol
Thanks Mario!
In too clumsy to walk the whole vehicle, so I go panel by panel. 😂
Awesome job Mario and that's a stunning color!
😂 thanks you! Do what makes you comfortable.
I like overlapping the panels more comfortable for me.
The best thing you can do when painting is be comfortable .
Walk the whole side for candy’s or pearls ,anything else overlapping the panels 👍great job
Thank you! 👍
Mario, what's up with the Honda Civic? Maybe an update on the next project? Thanks to your work, I started my own project and am following your lessons with dignity. You're doing a good job🚘😎
I just don't know how to mask the roof because it is uniform with the body
Hey man, I already sold the civic. The next project is yet to be decided. I’m glad my videos are of good help to you. Thanks for your support 🤜
@@ksz9974 roof on what car?
Beautiful finish on the clear Mario, as you know I only do single panels or bike tanks but I would have thought you would get a better finish doing whatever feels comfortable for you, IMO if you are struggling walking the side of a car then your paint finish will suffer so you would be better doing it panel by panel🤔🙏👍John UK
Thanks👍 John, I agree your paint job will suffer if you’re not comfortable.
i walk the whole side, its what im used to doing, i find it easier to maintain my wet edge. I also use a economy clear so if i were to panel paint, my wet edge doesnt stay "open" for long. In terms of finish i think panel painting looks much better which is why i love to spray panels off the car.
Thanks for your feedback
Since I started painting vans I had to resort to walking across, you get used to it if you learn your surroundings and are calmer.
Thanks Mario for the videl and btw, what do you do personally when you get dirt nibs in your works ?
Thanks for the feedback 🙌 Sand and buff, but if it’s excessive I give it a flow coat.
When doing solid colors I'll do panel by panel, but metallics or pearls I'll walk the whole side of the vehicle. But clearing I'll panel by panel !
That makes sense. Thanks for the feedback 👍
I think the overlap technique is more common and easier. Especially those without big compressor which the air might not be sufficient to walk the entire car. The outcome still the same 😁
@ntonytay I wasn’t even thinking about that compressor part, thanks for the feedback 👍
Mario 1.3 oh 1.4 thanks
1.3
Should you walk metallic mid coat with .004 flake
I personally believe that if you are getting consistency, a uniformed and even spray the technique shouldn’t be a big deal.
Hello Mario'which gun is best for basecoat to be very smooth??
The DV1 or the Tekna base coat gun
