I got the reverse in Dec and love it!! I thought at first I’d have a hard time styling but then I saw it in person. Way more muted and peanut butter color like I thought. I wear a camel pea coat so it’s been matching amazing to run errands!!!!
I have the reverse and love it. I have other monogram bags so felt this was a little different. I agree, I have gotten more compliments on this bag than any other!
Both style are so gorgeous. But personally I love the monogram because it’s more of my style, one color in one bag as much as possible and yes it’s true, mono is so easy to style. But on the contrary, with my metis in mono I get a lot of compliments, even when I bring it to a work/business event, which I actually don’t do usually because of too much logos etc. Anyhow, great vid and comparison! I was in store pre-pandemic and able to try both on, and I just loved the monogram. It suits my style a bit more, and I don’t really care for the color of the reverse. I do wish the regular monogram came with treated leather, though. Maybe the caramel color? That would make it the perfect bag!
I love the Pochette Metis and it’s my favourite and most used of my high end designer bags. I love it so much that I have two, one in black and one in rose poudre. What I really don’t like are LV monogram canvas bags so I have the leather ones. I definitely recommend those as they have had no cracking or glazing issues at all.
My first PM was the regular monogram and then the reverse came out but I could not justify having both. When my monogram bag had glazing issues, LV gave me a full credit and I knew I still wanted this bag in my collection but this time went for reverse. Having owned both, I do prefer the reverse because it’s different and worry free without the vachetta. Great for everyday and travel bag.

I have the monogram and love it! I usually go with the classic monogram for all my bags and SLGs, but that’s just my style. Really though, I think both versions are pretty and you couldn’t go wrong with either one!
It was such a difficult decision for me! In the end, I purchased the monogram. I still sometimes feel the FOBO... Your point is so valid regarding the smooth black leather vs the vachetta. This is the only point of contestation. I agree the reverse is edgier in appearance and therefore more notable. Such a hard decision! I also bought a twilly to safeguard the appearance of the vachetta.
I first got the regular monogram and loved it. But then when the reverse monogram came into my life, I really wear it so much more. Just gives me such a different vibe than the regular one.

I was dead set on the monogram until I got to the store and tried on the reverse. I ended up buying the reverse and I could not be happier! It is so cool and goes with everything. Been thinking about picking up the monogram though...

@ That was my question, too, so I'm very happy to hear that! I just ordered the reverse as I have been drawn to that one since the day I saw it. I've also got the turtle dove empreinte on the way, and I can't wait to receive both! I've dropped several clothing sizes recently so I'm selling/sold my larger LVs (Graceful MMs) and trading for the smaller, more streamlined pochette metis bags which fit my slimmer body type much better. The larger bags swallow me up now. :-)

I recently splurged and bought the noir empreinte (love it!!), and both the monogram and the reverse...but I may return the monogram...been eyeing the turtledove but I wear jeans a lot, so scared it will turn blue. @@marleecarol You sound like me lol. I have the reverse, turtledove, and black. I LOVE the PMs! And no color transfer so far. Of course if I wear dark jeans I'm careful, but I really don't in the warmer months, and that's when I'm more likely to carry the Turtledove. It is GORGEOUS...if I were to choose between turtledove and monogram it would be the former, hands down (especially if you already have the reverse!) I hope you are loving your new bags!

Angelique hello, I bought the Reverse and I loved it but I ended up returning because I was afraid it will look dated in a few years. I love the reverse if it was all in reverse and not color blocking as Si don’t know if that color blocking trend will be passé soon?? I love the no vachetta though. It is crazy how much more it is on the second hand market. Makes me rethink my return. I ended up with the classic monogram at the end. What do you think of the reverse is it trendy or will the prices go down in the reverse or will it keep its value through the years. I think I would repurchase bc I love it

I bought the Monogram version, had it for 3 months and all the time I was afraid to use it because of the vachetta. Then, I decided to exchange it to the Reverse, but did not have the chance to use it yet 🤣

my experience with this bag: I had to returned it twice because of glazing mistakes. I was annoyed, so I ended up getting the vanity instead and I was so happy about it. Then I got stiches problem, brought it to LV and they just replaced a new one.

I think it’s just close enough to the regular monogram to be a classic. That gorgeous toffee brown will never go out of style in my opinion

I love metis but girl has got bills lol , a friend at my work place introduced slaybags to me and i googled ,saw good reviews about the quality of the bags so i purchased the damier azur mm from there and omg i love it , the quality is almost like the real and it came with card and receipt as well . I am happy hopefully i can get the real deal some day .
