Suddenly a great male Orca appeared and hurried to catch the white shark. Some minutes later two great Orcas were closing in on the hunted hunter. Even deep blue is only about 2/3 the length of an orca and only about 1/3 of the size. Orcas wouldn’t have much to fear from them

    • @islamicschoolofmemestudies
      @islamicschoolofmemestudies 4 года назад +11

      @@dmd9080 Well, There are so many orca types in The ocean, the Bigger ones(Type A and the Antarctic type) who can grow to 9 metres are found in Polar waters hunting Seals and Whale calf. The Orcas found in Californian waters and tropics (Offshore orcas) on average had the lengths around 4-6 metres. They usually picks Great white that are around 3 meters in length. The 4 metre Orcas in farallon island preyed great whites that are around 3 meters. They are smart creatures, i don't think they would take risk on killing creatures that are as big or bigger than them. So the Orca that deep blue likely met was as big or slightly smaller than her.

      @dmd9080 4 года назад +6

      islamic school of meme studies. There are transients in the temperate North Pacific and Atlantic which are up to around 9/10 m long which’s the more than capable of killing a 7m great white which is half the size

      @@dmd9080 ah you mean Biggs killer whale or the mammal eater. Hmm, as far as i know they preferred seal, sea lions and sometimes dolphin. They lived in Vancouver and Alaska. Idk if they visited Guadalupe Island where Deep Blue are dwelling. The orca's we used to see on tropical place are usually Offshore Orcas, and these orcas are known to specialize their diets on Sharks which was shown that their tooth are worn down and due to their lack of collagen, sometimes Orca who specializes on Shark diet lost their dorsal fin structural capability making them unerect. Yes transient orcas are capable of killing deep blue, but their encounters with her are unlikely. The likely orca who could stumble deep blue is the Offshore orcas.
