I was a geology major and the swirling quilting superimposed on the rectilinear grid of piecing looks so much like a topographical map overlain on agricultural fields as seen from above. Your quilt, both sides, is gorgeous!
It turned out so beautiful! The way the colors come together and the contrasting stitching is perfect. It's really inspiring me to try making a quilt too!
