A problem in this field is the courses are actually not scrynchonised and majority of the engineering curriculum is old school , n it as developed as western countries . Me myself in the industry from last 10 years ,ofthen notice that in India u may not find the best of the civil engineering practices which is followed in western countries or rest of the world .
In construction company there have no opportunity for fresher's Civil Engineer.
Many opportunities available depends on your knowledge

@@shsureshshsuresh6371 if you are interested in civil engineering, go for it. RV is a very good college. Or else if there is going to be another round, apply for which ever branch you want.

I am fresher Highway engineer in a KPC PROJECTS. My starting salary was 12k per month its very low. But when we get experience and work then salary also increase with experience and knowledge. The main thing for civil engineering is to survive.
I think If we hard work for two to three years after that us career goes to next level.

Firstly I would like to tell you, there is no opportunity in the market specially for civil engineer. I have 1 year building construction experience but there is no reply from any company because I don't have reference and my friends has reference & he is doing job in good company.
So please don't make foolish.
Without reference there is no job.

Yes, now a days reference is must. & in India no company is ready to hire a lady for site engineer. Besically, for girls there is no Job. I just wasted 6 yrs to learning this branch.

Arey madam i have 6 years of experience in execution..first of all u choosen wrong branch and u are talking about interest in site..i spoiled my life by doing civil..never try to think of doing site work i said never..better search job in office field by learning 3d software..if you are fresher than shift to some IT sector you will get good salary and 5 day working life..please mera bhaath suno sis..🙂
