I know that last two question about switch and storage classes but the main thing is good initiative and having confidence in talking is what i observed .knowledge enhaces your confidence
For those who are here to prepare for their interviews, This long intro is not compulsory. If the interviewer has simply asked you to introduce yourself then you can talk about yourself and the current work which you are doing or your education qualification, that's it. No need to elongate it if don't have good points to add or you are not that confident about it.
I started watching this video. And went half way through her introduction. Then I commented this line and closed this video. I am really good at closing like this the way she is good at everything.
As a fresher, one should definitely work for a start-up for a few years if they really want to learn cutting-edge tech. But if you want to settle down, secure your job and work on the same old tech for years, go ahead.. join TCS/CTS etc.
It is a nice interview. I'm a 12th standard student and I do not have much experience about how ideal the interviews should be. But I introspected that there are few areas which could have been improved. 1. I felt the introduction to be quite long. It could have been shorter. She could have focused more about her qualities. 2. I felt she was talking much more about not having job securities in other companies and things like that. I would not prefer to highlight much pessimism for other companies which I do not want to join. But I would focus more to highlight the optimism for the company I want to join. 3. According to her, she told that she would see: 1. If there's lot to learn from the company. 2. Good colleagues to help out. 3. Brand name. Here, my answer would have been: 1. A secured and friendly environment. 2. Where workers are allowed to learn and utilize their potential in their suitable ways. 3. Good salary. (Last two of her three points came hefty in my 1st point). ~~~ So these were my remarks from my observation upon this video. If there are meanings which are not to up the mark or is wrong, please feel free to correct me. I would love to acknowledge.
As an Interviewer myself i would suggest focusing on your technical skills and project more in your introduction to make sure you want the interview to move the direction you want to. Instead of hobby try to showcase your passion for technology with an real life example as it would make the interviewer more interested.
Perfect, her communication is damn perfect 🤗 I am from commerce background, currently doing Company secretary ,watching the video only to see her confidence and the way she speaks..... Kudos🤗🤗🤗

@@AkashGupta-ff6ns for TCS, you should look decent, dress decent and should have average communication skills. Regarding technical questions, one of my friends from EE branch was asked below questions: 1. difference between analog and digital signals. 2. how to convert your name from lowercase to uppercase in java. 3. what project you did? he answered: web application. then interviewer asked: show me. my friend told him that it was not hosted on any server, so he cannot show him. In the end, it doesn't matter much which organization you join at a fresher level. It is about what kind of work you do.
I sat in TCS interview and my interview went for 1 and half hour. even after giving good answer of each question I got rejected. But thank Got I got rejected there. I got 12LPA offer from an gurgaon based startup.

That's kind of the wrong thinking. Sure communication skills do matter. But if u don't have the skills, then you will become like Aman dhattarwal. A good speaker,but nothing inside the brain. Just a fake personality
Gauri as a fresher you really performed well in the interview. I would like to give you a piece advice as I am working in the industry for the past 16 years and in TCS last 5 yrs. Instead of giving you brand, job security and salary package. You can ,market yourself what you would bring to the table when you got selected that way u can win interviews. TCS growth will be recruiting the right people in right place not becoz of brand value and one more point job security and work life balance is only a myth and in my project I worked 14-16 hrs everyday during this lockdown period. so don't get trapped in this kind of things, If I would have been in your position I choose Startup becoz there only you can have opportunity to learn new technologies. Even today I am using in current job what I have learned in my early days. Wish you all the best Gauri
But you don't say that in a TCS interview. Basically, their main issue is why are people changing jobs, and obviously they will hire more people who prefer job security, so you have to market yourself according to the needs of the interview.
The interview was good but in the coding part about snakes and ladders I could simply suggest you some tips when he asked about the implementation of the game the first thing came to my mind was multidimensional array indicating numbers from 1 to 100. Then a variable for dice and function to roll a dice. Variable for player. Separate list of snakes and ladders which indicates which contains point in multidimensional array and indicates increment and decrement of the player. That's it.
@@chirantanmukherji640 Well it's not necessary we can have a same number for alt least one or two ladders, like in reality there are one or two points when we walk up the ladder immediately we are bitten by a snake. So its not necessary that we have all our snake and ladder points as mutually exclusive points. :)

Introduction with lines like "computer is in every field and I have spent 3-4 years in developing software skills" shows that she was guided by some professor to give introduction in this form. Anyway, I recalled my campus interview which lasted for 2hrs as most of the time I spent was debating with the interviewer on his technical know how because he had lesser knowledge than I did, harsh reality of IT industry.
This interview is an inspiration for me . I saw this in my 3rd year . Somewhhere I dont know how exactly all things made the way and I got placed in Tcs . Thank You SO much. Cheers To Tcs !
Seriously seeing these things just reminded me how useless these campus interviews were, The candidate statements were literally filled with logical fallacies and the same repeated questions will be asked by the interviewer, of course, this is enough for an entry-level job but these responses should not be considered for an actual industrial interview.

In TCS it's very different in various stages of the career band, obviously, for the freshers, it would be bulk recruitment. Here the need is whether the candidate would be able to grasp what the company has to offer and can he deliver at the pace which the company wants to extract, higher technical skills are definitely a plus. In TCS I feel it's more about what you can make of yourself rather than what company could mould you to, you have the freedom of moving within the teams and various tools and technologies, so its up to you as a candidate once you are in what you can make use off.
In my first interview I got totally blank, cause of nervousness …not able to continue ..I would like to thanks to the interviewer who suggested me ..How many people get selected in their first interview.. this is just a beginning...have a glass of water. Keep learning and come again we will be waiting for you.
Instead if Job security concern, She could have said that TCS would have more projects and technology exposure than tier-2 company. As Tier-2 companies have limited projects and technology exposure. But, In TCS, I will get not just technical exposure but also global exposure which will make me learn and align myself as per global trends and requirements as a software engineer which can help me in long term. As a fresher, one should definitely work for a start-up for a few years if they really want to learn cutting-edge tech. But if you want to settle down, secure your job and work on the same old tech for years, go ahead.. join TCS/CTS etc.
startup in india is a scam. Any good product based company will do.
bhai tereko aur kahi milegi bhi nahi job
Dumb logic..XD
Same old tech is a fax tho
~~~
So these were my remarks from my observation upon this video. If there are meanings which are not to up the mark or is wrong, please feel free to correct me. I would love to acknowledge.
Suggestions noted
As an Interviewer myself i would suggest focusing on your technical skills and project more in your introduction to make sure you want the interview to move the direction you want to. Instead of hobby try to showcase your passion for technology with an real life example as it would make the interviewer more interested.
Its not just about the education what we learn in schools and Colleges. Important is how you present your self and the personal development. Which is not taught at any school or college
That's kind of the wrong thinking. Sure communication skills do matter. But if u don't have the skills, then you will become like Aman dhattarwal. A good speaker,but nothing inside the brain. Just a fake personality
Gauri as a fresher you really performed well in the interview. I would like to give you a piece advice as I am working in the industry for the past 16 years and in TCS last 5 yrs. Instead of giving you brand, job security and salary package. You can ,market yourself what you would bring to the table when you got selected that way u can win interviews. TCS growth will be recruiting the right people in right place not becoz of brand value and one more point job security and work life balance is only a myth and in my project I worked 14-16 hrs everyday during this lockdown period. so don't get trapped in this kind of things, If I would have been in your position I choose Startup becoz there only you can have opportunity to learn new technologies. Even today I am using in current job what I have learned in my early days. Wish you all the best Gauri
Startups offers good package and meantime they allow u to work more so basically u are technically growing and physically also.
But you don't say that in a TCS interview. Basically, their main issue is why are people changing jobs, and obviously they will hire more people who prefer job security, so you have to market yourself according to the needs of the interview.
Then why you still working staying in tcs are you change to new company then u said correct
The interview was good but in the coding part about snakes and ladders I could simply suggest you some tips when he asked about the implementation of the game the first thing came to my mind was multidimensional array indicating numbers from 1 to 100. Then a variable for dice and function to roll a dice. Variable for player. Separate list of snakes and ladders which indicates which contains point in multidimensional array and indicates increment and decrement of the player. That's it.
Nice one
Think we missed a very important point no? A number between 1 to 100 when choosing snake or ladder shouldn't be both..mutually exclusive events
@@chirantanmukherji640 Well it's not necessary we can have a same number for alt least one or two ladders, like in reality there are one or two points when we walk up the ladder immediately we are bitten by a snake. So its not necessary that we have all our snake and ladder points as mutually exclusive points. :)
In TCS it's very different in various stages of the career band, obviously, for the freshers, it would be bulk recruitment. Here the need is whether the candidate would be able to grasp what the company has to offer and can he deliver at the pace which the company wants to extract, higher technical skills are definitely a plus.
In TCS I feel it's more about what you can make of yourself rather than what company could mould you to, you have the freedom of moving within the teams and various tools and technologies, so its up to you as a candidate once you are in what you can make use off.
In my first interview I got totally blank, cause of nervousness …not able to continue ..I would like to thanks to the interviewer
