Dumbo Octopus Tutorial

🍄You will need in this video:
3.75mm hook & 3.5mm hook
8mm safety eyes
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Stuffing
2 colors of yarn
🍄Written pattern
Start with 3.75mm hook and main color
Rnd 1: MC, 6sc
Rnd 2: 6inc [12]
Rnd 3: (1sc, 1inc) [18]
Rnd 4: 1sc, 1inc, (2sc, 1inc) x5, 1sc [24]
Rnd 5-8: 24sc
Rnd 9: F.L.O 1sc, 1inc, (2sc, 1inc), 1sc [32]
Rnd 10: (1sc, 3sc in next st, 2sc) [48]
Rnd 11: (2sc, 5sc in next st, 3sc) [80] slst, cut tail
🍄Ears x2
With 3.5mm hook and main color
Ch 4, cut tail
The ears are made by sewing, both ends of the crocheted chain onto the head, forming a very small loop
So the ears on top of your amigurumi, between the 2nd and 3rd round of the body.
 since the body hasn’t been stuffed, yet, you cannot the ends on the inside to secure the ears in place
🍄Face
Attach the safety eyes between the 7th & 8th round of the body about 7 stitches apart.
If you want to, add a little mouth by sewing, a small straight stitch in between the eyes
🍄Bottom
With 3.5mm hook & 2nd color
Rnd 1: MC, 6sc
Rnd 2: 6inc [12]
Rnd 3: (1sc, 1inc) [18]
Rnd 4: 1sc, 1inc, (2sc, 1inc), 1sc [24] slst, cut tail
🍄Assemble
Hold your octopus upside down and you’ll see a little ridge of stitches formed by working through the front loop in row 9.
To close up your amigurumi, start sewing the bottom piece onto this row of stitches
Before closing the whole completely stuff, the body. Finish sewing the whole and your octopus is complete. Yay!
