    12:51 Fun fact about the Yankee 500 at the Norwood Arena. That was the last race without a driver who competed against Dale Earnhardt until last years Pocono race, so theres another Zervankis/2023 Pocono connection

    Dale jr didn't stop racing after 2017 it was 2018 when he went to Xfinity In 2019. He still races to this day with select starts in Xfinity also 97: Kurt Busch 2004

    An interesting thing to note about the race that Caswell finished 2nd in in the 84, is that the winner of that race is the only driver, save Shane van Gisbergen, to have a current perfect record in the Cup Series. 1 start, 1 win. long live Marvin Burke.

    I'll be honest. had Jr. not had those concussion injuries and stuff he'd still be racing the Cup Series today and maybe wouldve nailed a championship. Jr is one of the most recent What If's in NASCAR imo

      Sorry, I don't agree. Jr was a good driver not great.He's great for the sport. But imo he was overrated, not quite as bad as Danica but overrated, I get it fan favorite. Announcers used him as marker during the race " where's jr running know even though there was no chance of winning. That's when I believe the basically using a script to announce the race, and I believe they were tod they had to mention his name so many times per race, even if he wasn't doing well. I will give credit for being a great super speedway driver as long as he had a partner. Sorry just the facts mam.

    The biggest miss here was that Dick Trickle ran the 84 Miller High Life Buick after essentially replacing Bobby Allison following his career-ending accident.

    A small correction - the 85 was not Darrell Waltrip's last start. He was running the 66 full time for Travis Carter, but ran out of champion's provisionals and missed the field for the Coke 600. Carl Long had qualified for the race but allowed Waltrip to drive the car instead.

    An honorable mention for both the 96 and the 98 would be Dale Earnhardt. He would score the first top 10 of his career in the 96 Ford for Will Cronkrite and would score his first career top 5 in the 98 Chevrolet for Rod Osterlund, both in 1978.

    The 86 is my favorite number and I honestly doubt it’s ever going to be brought back but I do hope that someday someone could bring it back and start doing good with it, I’ve made a bunch of paint schemes on iRacing that have that number as my number and it looks so good.     The #90 has 1 win, 64 top fives, 2 poles, and competed in 922 races.
    First to drive was Tim Flock at Charlotte Speedway.
    The most starts was with Dick Brooks at 175 from 1973 to 1984
    The only guy to win in the number was Jody Ridley in 1981 at Dover.
    The last full time driver was Dick Trickle in 1998.
    The last to drive the number in general is David Stremme in 2014 at Richmond. I chose 1 honorable mention and it’s 4 time truck champion Ron Hornaday Jr

    90 team owner Junie Donlavey has to be mentioned as he by far is the most well known person associated with the 90
    92- I know he'll be mentioned as a winner, but the Fabulous Hudson Hornet driven by Herb Thomas.
    94- Bill Elliott during his independent era with the McDonalds scheme
    95- throwing another Matty D mention in there for his impressive 2019 season in which he almost made the playoffs (f off Ryan Newman omg)
    98- Josh Wise with the DogeCoin sponsorship and the Reddit cult that gathered around him to vote him into the All-Star race
    99- My favorite driver of all time, Carl Edwards. he had some good schemes too, especially the cheez it cars were good.

    You forgot that Ryan Truex drove the car in 2013 and Dylan Lupton drove the car in 2016 for just two races and you forgot that Mike Skinner, Scott Speed, and Brian Vickers also drove the 83 car in 2008 with A . J. Allmendinger and you also forgot that Mike Alexander drove the car in 1985-1989 with Dick Trickle and you forgot Scott Speed also drove the 87 car for two races in 2009 with Joe Nemechek driving it for the rest of that year and you forgot Buck Baker's other son Randy Baker drove the 87 back in his day you also forgot Rusty Wallace drove the 88 car in 1984 and Buddy Baker, Greg Sacks, Joe Ruttman, Rick Mast, Donnie Allison and Morgan Shepherd all drove the 88 car too and you forgot the 88 car did run M&M's paint schemes too back than.
