LIVE | Procession for firefighter Joseph Johns, who was killed in Minneapolis shooting

A firefighter who worked in Eagan and Eden Prairie was killed early Sunday morning after a shooting in Minneapolis. A procession is being held for him from the medical examiner's office to a funeral home in Jordan, Minnesota.

Hit in the crossfire? It's bad enough firefighting is so difficult but the men and women who do it do so as a choice. To be shot and killed in some sort of crossfire altercation is an insult and a failure on the part of society.
