I also heard of this five point soldering on the main board. Personally, I would never ever do this, as a person is effectively hot-wiring the complex and delicate circuitry. This is a backlight inverter issue, which means replace the inverter. Doing this hot-wiring magic, will ultimately destroy the television, even though it may take some time ! An absolute no-no !
This trick is used after testing all backlight working i won't suggestion people to do this thing without fully testing for this type of case lots of more solution available like remove over volt protection this thing never damage your TV
Replace backlight is best for longlife

bro i have klv40r472b.. due to electric surge through dish cable ..its giving me 2 blink error after sony logo..before 2 blink error it used to run for 10 mins..thrn time decreased to only sony logo and then 2 blink error..can u help me which parts to replace? i heard changing some resistor smds does the trick...pls help..thank u brotherrrrr

KLV 40EX430 Mera led model num hai .aur mere led tv mein hi same problem hi sir. Repiring ho jagega kya.mein delhi se hu.kis se contact kru sir.plz help
It will have side effect in long time , led back light is overecurrent /Amp,1 of the led direct short trigger the protection. Backlight power ic will cookup/spoil in certain time if bypass.Other led Also will burn out more faster because voltage already over for it .
I'm not sure about this "fix". I've seen fires started from shorted leds where the overcurrent was not working.
Then what must be the possible solution according to you please write down I need your answer

I have sony bravia & having 6 time light blinking problem after sony name display, after as per your suggestion 4 point connected out of 6 point. Now 6 time blinking problem gone (ok) sound is also ok but picture is not available on screen so what can i do. Please suggest me. Thanks.

Ye depend karta hai apke issue me check karke hi bata sakte hai ki Kya change Karna padega aise case me 1500 se 4500 tak expense aa Sakta hai

i have sony bravia KDL-40R455B the screen starts 3 times ,the first time stays on for 5 sec and goes off with green led with a high frequency sound, the second time the same, but the 3rd time stays longer about 10 sec then goes off with red blinking led 6 times, even if i remove the led power cable that goes to backlight does the same thing but without the backlight. How to fix that?
