Although the subject matter of the video is a bit different but I truly have lived this personally. I watched my wife of 25 years lay in an ICU for 2 weeks and eventually pass in Feb of 2021 from COVID related issues. She was bipolar and all I could do the majority of the 27 years we were together was just love her through the hard times. I suppose I was bipolar myself since she and I were one and whatever affected her... affected me. And when she passed, a piece of me did as well 💙🙏🏻
His recording studio wanted him to make a video. He decided if he was going to make one, it was going to count. This video is one of the most powerful ones out there. Thank you.
I love that Chris was the bartender in the video. And the subject matter is so realistic -- mental health issues are absolutely crippling for some people. He has the most amazing voice.
*I can get through the song without crying but not the song and the video. So thanks for the 25 tissues I just went through and the stuffed up nose right before bed 😉 But seriously, thanks for reacting to that one* 💞
This is a tough one, my mental state has been so fragile lately working through a broken heart, I almost didn’t watch this with you guys, but I have mad respect for any artist who can tackle these topics with such grace and beauty, it’s important not to look away, and I love how you guys can be vulnerable and in your feelings just as easily as you can make us dance and laugh, you have no idea how much I adore you for this! I woke up at 3am out of a nightmare and a hot flash and decided to watch this thru my tears with y’all anyway and I’m glad I did, but I probably will never watch this video again… they did an amazing job with it, too good… Chris Stapleton does a beautiful cover of Metallica‘s Nothing Else Matters 🤘🏼✨ Dad, Irv, Tom, Brian, Marc, Ashley…may you be at peace🕊🌌
It's a powerful message about mental illness but even more so, about committment and sticking out. Chris said - It also must be one of the hardest places to love someone.
Thanks smokey for sharing. My mom suffered from mental illness due in part to losing a baby (my sister) . My ahole father kicked her in the stomach when she was pregnant. While she had me, she never got over losing a child.
Suffering with bipolar myself my partner has stood by my side for 11 years seeing this video for the first time really killed me bc I really got a perspective from his view and how much he must really love me to help me deal with this daily I take my meds and do my therapy but I still have some very manic episodes it can be very scary
Amazing song. Ben Foster is the actor in the video (Chris S is the bartender). Ben has been in a bunch of movies- 3:10 to Yuma, The Punisher, 30 Days of Night, Alpha Dogs, Lone Survivor.
I’ve got a form of bipolar disorder. Feel comfortable enough to put that here. Mine has more emphasis on the depressive side. My manic episodes have been much more rare. Took me ‘til I was 30 to find the right thing for it, and over a decade of nearly constant depression finally came to an end.
Thanks for doing one of the best country songs ever ❤️ Next react: Chris Stapleton- White Horse Tyler Childers- Feathered Indians Koe Wetzel- Drunk Driving
My anthem of the moment is sadly by someone taken from this world way too early. Please look up "Shut Up" by Lucky Dube. The lyrics are something everybody should be considering in the world just now.
He has only done one music video and you just watched it. He said if he was going to do a video it had to count and make people understand something. I love his song either way, and Death Row, Drunkards prayer, cold, you should probably leave and Daddy doesnt pray anymore.
Not my thing at all but I still like being introduced to things like this. Better than most Country artists I've heard in recent memories but I just can't really dig it. Never stop what you giys are doing though! Love it!
Chris Stapleton is amazing. I love his voice and he always sets the mood perfectly for whatever situation. I definitely recommend checking out more of his songs (like Parachute off the same album). But on the subject of country, I think now would be an excellent time to bring Keith Urban to your attention. His early works, especially "Golden Road", "Be Here", and "Love, Pain, and the Whole Crazy Thing" are his best works. I specifically want to request the song "Stupid Boy" off of Love, Pain. This song hits me in such a personal way just as Fire Away did for you guys here. ruclips.net/video/Kt7UuzyeQ5A/видео.htmlsi=ccC-OLRDbFXFbn6V
@@wheredidthetimego8087 it was weird, I just explained what/how it’s like having Rapid Cycling Bipolar I. I was like oh crikey what the hell did I say 🫣.
I must suggest a memorable spectacle; an acquired taste not unlike Bach. And it literally is similar, though not apparently. Acquired taste is veridical, but I tell you burdened intellectuals hear this-not the first time, not maybe the third.... maybe not you guys because listening to nearly all music. Saying Mudvayne or Slipknot is what, "heavy"? -it is, but it's not this, which is much older as a style. Black Witchery - Invincible Antichrist Victory, or - Unholy Vengeance of War 🎶 Pardon essay but no reactors even know it can get this way. Slipknot are choirboys compared. It's not "heavy", it's something else. Even if just for getting people talking; not what I call "Radiomusik" (Deutsch = music for radios and "regular people"; philosophical nihilism but as Nietzsche said: there is a creative _active_ Nihilism, like a cheat. The religious themeology is aesthetics. Most people who listen to this are at peace, because they exercise the shadow.
I thought it was funny you guys were talking about thinking it would be an upbeat R&B song... when did that happen? Original R&B was all about break ups .
You guys should really watch a Danish rap number called: > Djämes Braun - Fugle (Official Music Video) < You can skip the intro monologue, (if you wish), and start at 0.40. And you should also watch this music video: > Nephew feat. Johnson - Statusopdaterer At Jeg Statusopdaterer. < It is truly Awesome.

So hard, no doubt you carried her pain too, may your memories comfort you 🫂💙🌌
I’m so sorry for your loss ❤
I am so sorry for your loss. 💔 She was so blessed to have you.
Amen…

Woah. That was heavy and super sad 😔 big love for anyone who is struggling out there.
Mr Chris Stapleton is just perfection. This video is so hard to watch and I cry every single time, but it needs to be seen
Well it is mental health awareness month so good timing. Hugs around the room?
Love y’all.

It’s a tough song but the video. Wow. 🙏🙏🙏

as someone with mental health issues, this song hits hard! I hope if anyone hearing/seeing this can find help and hope
In the video Chris Stapleton is the bartender pouring drinks. You should check out his song Either Way.
Yes! Live
Chris Stapleton is so good i literally cried from his rendition of the national anthem. He's so powerful!!! #noshame

Chris Stapleton absolutely rules.😊❤ His voice is so amazing.😊
I just watched 2 guys get lost in the video and almost forgot the song. Bros. I feel you. 🙏🙏🙏
His work with the Steeldrivers is phenomenal too.
The video brought shivers and bad memories
I have only watched this music video twice and it makes me cry every time 😢😢💔💔
I thought she lost a baby was my interpretation. But smokey brings up a good point. When she says tell everyone I'm great, I thought she was drunk.
I’m already crying 3:59
Let’s Gooooooo!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

😢😢❤❤That type of suffering is real and horrible.
YeeeYeeeee!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Chris, Ren, Tom, Adam & Jelly Roll.... Top 5!!!
Parachute is great song too
Amazing song. Ben Foster is the actor in the video (Chris S is the bartender). Ben has been in a bunch of movies- 3:10 to Yuma, The Punisher, 30 Days of Night, Alpha Dogs, Lone Survivor.
Banger song!!! Guys, check out Cold live at CMA Awards show by Chris!!!

All the sweetness
What a dilemma when the thing you need to fight with is what's broken.

Straight to the playlist. Not what I expected at all. Thanks for the suggestion 😊
Well it IS Blues. It doesn’t get much sadder than what happened.

That's Chris Stapleton playing the bartender.
Chris Stapleton- White Horse…..live
Hollywood, you look like the new Bayern Munich manager, Vincent Kompany 🤪
You should listen to Cold, and I was Wrong
Apparently I hit some YT buzz words in my previous comment, :/
It’s not hard to do 🤐

There’s an amazing live acoustic version, just him and his wife. The female in the video is bipolar.
Please react to rapper RM's "Groin." Song included on his new album "Right place wrong person". Tank👊🇧🇷🔥

Appreciate the content I'm a regular. Idk what patreon is really but I would.
