- For the last two years, Sissel and her husband Ernst Ravnaas have composed, produced and written songs together. The collaboration has already produced two trilogies and the song "Winter Morning", which was released in 2022.
"Choices" is part of their third trilogy - "Big Questions"

In childhood we don't have many choices for we live in a deterministic world. We're taught to conform. As adults there are choices but still we're constrained by the exigencies of survival. Mind, some do break out of the mold. These few are artists, adventurers, beachcombers & those who simply & literally live close to the earth. It's when we retire that we taste the fulness of freedom. Some simply lie down & die. Others, the lucky few perhaps, walk a spiritual path. In so doing the opportunities are endless.
