Asobi had broken up themselves. Do you think they turned down the offer though? Fuck no, they reformed just for that show. Check them out if you don't already know them. "Thursday" is a classic, probably their best known song. I think they came close at times. The song "Trails" is a great example, it starts out perfectly "Loveless" sounding, musically (the vocals are a lot farther out front) but then morphs into something different and that was the brilliance of that band.

This is great, and it’s also like an advert for Fender offset guitar models out of production at the time. MBV should get a royalty fee from Fender for every offset sold ( along with Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr)
I was lucky enough to see MBV and Dinosaur 1991 at some weird small club in Columbus. I'll say this and I've said it again, MBV were the loudest band I've ever heard.

It’s too bad MBV doesn’t seem to want any live documentation of them. I have pretty bad hearing issues so I don’t even know if I’ll ever get the chance to see them live so some footage would be nice.

Es tan complejo y generoso de sonido que si quieres, puede llegar a ser como nuevo todas las veces. MBV entregó este álbum de sonido en movimiento permanente. Y se repite para los otros dos discos, el mismo efecto, sonido escalable, intercambiable, dinámico, descentralizado, que parece no es una sola línea continua sonora, sino que puedes remezclarlo en tu cabeza y darle tantas dimensiones como tu imaginación lo permita.
