This is totally fun, loveed when Kit was well 'tech-ni-caly' I knew things were getting even crazier!
Just found out about this system. Starting a game in a couple of weeks. Glad to see people out here showcasing systems not in the mainstream, looking forward to checking out the other systems you cover
Oooo a multi-episode campaign of FU, I have been looking for this through youtube, can't wait to see how it goes ^^
This was really cool, can't wait to see where all the characters go from here :D
I would have remarks but nothing that could potentially have changed in 7 months so I'll keep them for myself for now X)
Time to binge the rest whenever I find some free time xD
😮 oh Man! I really need to start watching you guys!
Wow, what a compelling story! I really want to try this system some day and you all make it seem especially appealing :D
Does the issue with the GM's mic only coming out of the left get fixed later? I want to watch a FabUlt campaign but I'm a little hard of hearing, expecially in my left side.
IT DOES! growing pains are fun, haha.
set your audio device settings to mono instead of stereo, works a treat for me
*finger guns*
I'll get downvoted, I'm sure but, I want to help you with some feedback. Storyteller, it wouldn't hurt to get some theater training on creating a stage presence and voice projection. A little bit of energy in your voice goes a long way. A lot of people naturally have some vim in their affect but it can be learned rather easily. One of the things you can do is try out different soundtracks and monologue to the atmosphere they create. A realtively cheap course in a local community college theater program can be helpful as well.
Again, good stream - just a pointer.
Judging by the heart, Andrew (the storyteller) has taken your advice civilly, which is cool of him. Though I'd also like to comment that I don't think his lack of "theatrical flair" is ALL that damning... in my opinion there's sort of a soft, hypnotic tone to his narrations that kind of puts ya in a trance, if you let it. Maybe it lacks some bite for scenes that could benefit from it, but nevertheless it feels quite like an actual old storyteller reading patiently from an old storybook
To be honest for those who played AD&D and old style RPG was the bread and butter of being a good DM how theatrical you could be, reasons why even in tbbt wollowits portrayed the best dming session on the series, his advice is spot on and well intended.
I wanted to add that, yep, im the storyteller here. and i really do appreciate your comment! It's great advice and you offered really help suggestions. So thank you!
