Most underrated food in the world! I think everyone should know about this stuff cause it's CRACK! But also let us know other cuisines you think are underrated that need more attention!
Lowell is my hometown!! I moved away when I was 14 but through the years I always go to visit family. But what I miss and enjoy the most is the FOOD!!! Asian food in the south ain’t like it is up there. I love the exposure you guys are giving to your viewers! Rest In Peace to your friend 🕊
Great video!! Thank you guys for putting us on to some local Cambodian restaurants. I am excited to take my own friends to try these places. Rest in peace Ken!! I went back to your first video after y'all said he passed. He passed at such a young age, but his memory and impact will always live on. The kind words everyone had to share about Ken is exactly how he'll be remembered
Thanks for sharing this with the world. Khmer Pride all the way. RIP to your friend Ken. You guys are doing great! Keep sharing more about khmer food. Our food is so good, our culture is so beautiful. Stay awesome you guys and keep doing the work to honor your friend Ken.
From the AFAR magazine, and I quote “Cambodian cuisine is one of Asia’s most misunderstood. The better-known Royal Thai cuisine of neighboring Thailand was actually born from the Royal Khmer cuisine.” Similar seasoning and herbs used between Thailand and Cambodian food, except Khmer food is not typically spicy and sweet. We have pepper on the side. Thanks for posting.
Love ur vids, Naq is so knowledgeable about food and more, u guys crack me the hell up. Love it, just stumbled upon ur videos and now I am watching back to back, much luck to u Evan and friends. I live in K Town LA. Boo Ya....
yes phnom penh restaurant. it will always hold a spot in my heart. not only do they serve good food but it was also the last place i took my dad to eat before he passed away. and the dry noodle always pairs well with crispy fried shrimp/prawns and dont forget to ask for extra sauce in the noodles lol.
What a fantasitc video. Even though I live in Lowell, and have visited many Cambodian restaurants, I still can have a hard time knowing what to order. I have surely learned so new dishes. I am going to write them down for my next visit. Thanks!!!
You guys are awesome that you like to try our authentic Khmer foods. Most kids nowadays don’t know much about our foods. Great video keep up the great work guys. God bless you all.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Before 1836 Laos (and part of Cambodia) were under Siam (previous name of Thailand). We lost both to France while France was trying to colonise Siam. That's why food from Laos and Isan (meaning north eastern in Thai) have so much similarity. People from these regions are basically come from the same family. BTW, Cambodian culture is influenced by Hinduism from India as you can see in Ankor Wat. All of countries in Indo-china = southeast asia are influenced by ...guess...India and China.
If I'm ever in Lowell, will definitely check these spots out! Never eat Cambodian food anymore unless I visit my parents down south. There are zero Cambodian restaurants in Chicago lol
good food, good people, cute girls, great production (especially the cameraman and editing), I fucks with the Puerto Rican dude, he coo, RIP to your friend Ken, keep up the good work all, much love and respect
