Yes, it's all too conveniently wrapped up with a bow as if Baldoni suddenly was exposed as a raging pervert by poor innocent victim BL, and everyone agrees with her and is all too willing to stick their (typo edit) neck out for her. It would have ruined me professionally. I went to therapy right away. I don’t think the elements are here. He could be saying something in context of the story as a director. Contextually it’s a fine line. This movie is very sexual. Her character is very sexual. There are heightened sexual tensions in the book. He bites her neck and breaks her skin. Like a vampire. Specially timing wise when Justin Baldoni production company owns the rights to the book and Blake Lively wants to get the sequel rolling without the person who owns those rights. She and her husband wanted desperately to have that Barbie/Oppenheimer moment complete with merchandise ready to go which it wasn’t Baldoni’s fault that she made some massive mess steps and read the room wrong in how she was promoting things (like one of the biggest was the fact that she had a customized signature ALCOHOLIC drink, created to celebrate the opening of her movie… on addiction and DV). It really will be interesting to see … and I wonder if she thought this far ahead… that she is pulling the rug back on the way, the Hollywood PR machine works too create or change narratives and in some cases straight out gaslight the public. It sounds like although they created a plan to use Baldoni side did not actually use it except I have a feeling that Blake side was definitely doing that and more. I was watching another RUclipsr who worked on Hollywood sets commenting on this story. A woman in the comments said, "I worked on this (not sure if she meant this movie, but sounds like it). She said, "I never had any interactions with Justin Baldoni, but all the women on the set were advised by others not be alone with Justin."

This reminds me of when everyone thought something was going on with Princess Catherine, then it turned out she had cancer. Then everyone felt really bad. I think that two things can be true at the same time. One is that Blake Lively was harassed and the set was toxic. I also believe she could be not a nice person. But I don't know her, so I don't care about that. I do care if people are having to put up with that kind of harassment. With someone else coming forward, it sure seems like there's something to it, not just BL being a "mean girl". I think it's important to wait to hear the whole story before judging. That's really terrible if it's true.

Once other people come forward, it seems very likely that Blake is telling the truth. The other actress filed her complaint a long time ago, and Baldoni wrote some kind of response. And then the actor you spoke about earlier said good things about the women on the film. He didn't say anything about Baldoni.
What's bonkers is that even after the undeniable evidences, women still CHOOSE not to believe Blake Lively even without knowing her personally or just basing their judgements on clips of how she was supposedly rude to other people. Suppose, she's really rude and priviledged, the question still stands, does her behavior warrant for her to be sexually harrassed?

I agree with you. If there are any incidents complained of then an investigation should done and appropriate action taken. But if any of its reputation repair which I suspect some of this is then both may be at fault. I feel like there’s a massive piece we’re missing that will expose both.
Agree. I’m at the point where, despite not being a fan of Blake at all and finding her insufferable, I do believe her. There is just too much evidence continuing to come out that if true, is completely unacceptable behaviour. And I know Justin seems hella nice so it seems unbelievable but, my father was like that to the point that my mother was ostracised by her own family when she left him. He was exceptionally gifted at putting on a persona. My mind is still open to new information but it’s all very damning thus far.
@ yeah I agree with you there. If even one of those things are true which I do believe unless it’s some type of misunderstanding (which I’d want evidence of before I’d accept). No person should’ve been made to feel how she felt. Unacceptable behaviour from another human being. There’s just something that feels off about this whole thing from both sides. This is just an idea but I'm thinking Blake can potentially influence others to say bad things about Baldoni. Her and her hubby have the connections, the money and the power. If I were an actor I would be afraid of not being on her side because I can be blacklisted. I just stopped liking her after watching some interviews and not because of Baldoni. I don't know him enough to judge him, nor do I know her enough to say that what she is saying is not true... but this guy has been in the industry long enough to be in more than one movie. Have there been any other accusations prior to this movie? All these people can be supporting Blake in hopes that they get her support in other endeavors. Remember that Johnny Depps ex-wife falsely accused him of stuff. Remember that many women joined the me too movement, and though many were true, there were plenty that were not.

We all saw older interviews where she acted like a total brat, insulting and straight up ignoring the people interviewing her. See, she was hired by Sony and she was under the impression that she was going to run the show because she's Ryan's wife, Taylor's bestie, etc. However, when Justin, rightfully, told her "no" she proceeded to throw a temper tantrum and did everything in her power to try to destroy Justin so she could get her way going forward. Go back n watch more videos on this because they state it was Sony's decision to promote the film as a hope and go w your girl friends type of film. She also edited the film and Sony chose Her version. So maybe she does have that kind of pull you say she doesn't have.
I'm not defending Blake in any way, but apparently, that was the whole marketing plot that she didn't decide on. She would talk about it in a light-hearted way while Justin talked about the DV aspects.
Oh puhhlease. Underlings and less thans stick with the queen mean girl because they know their careers will suffer if they don't side with her. Don't pretend you don't know about this. I've personally witnessed 3 employees lie about a 4th employee because they assumed the 4th employee was first in line for a promotion. The lead mean girl plotted and got 2 other employees to agree to complain against the 4th employee thereby knocking the 4th employee out of the running for the promotion and nearly getting that employee fired. When the 4th employee stated their innocence, the person in charge said, "I want to believe you, but there are 3 other people stating something different so I have to believe them." The evidence showed the 4th employee was telling the truth, but the damage was already done as the person in charge didn't want the embarrassment of admitting their mistake in judgement. So, just because someone else bad mouths Baldoni, it doesn't necessarily mean that he was inappropriate. BL is not a novice actress on her first film set. She could've called for a intimacy coordinator from day 1, locked her trailer door any time she wanted privacy, pulled away from kissing or sex scenes she felt were inappropriate, etc. At any rate, all of BL's allegations combined amount to a nothing burger. A lot of fuss about nothing as her most serious complaint was that she was targeted with a smear campaign and even that has been debunked as Reynolds and Lively started the smear campaign and Baldoni only responded to it.

Well according to the complaint if you read it in detail yes. He said something inappropriate then said it’s OK because my wife is here, I am paraphrasing from the complaint
His friend who was in the movie was apparently showing people photos of his naked wife and when Blake found out it was his wife she asked if his wife would be ok with that. Then the guy said something along the lines of 'it's fine she is cool about this type of stuff unlike you." So I wouldn't be surprised in Justin's wife is also "cool" like that too.

Perez as a woman what I know, if one woman comes out, there usually will be more. You have to wait till the smoke clears. If the man is harassing one woman, chances are there will be others. That’s his personality. Blake is the well known actress, she is the one who is going to be taking the brunt of the major media abuse. I’m guessing the other women might not be as well known & to come forward in the beginning because it might end her career. When everything was happening earlier, there was a slew of negative press about Blake, all of which could have been a career ender. If an unknown actress came out against this man, she could have been blacklisted in the industry. Nothing has changed since Weinstein went to jail. It’s still a he said, she said situation with ppl backing the man. What did Weinstein do, he hired private investigators, including ex-Mossad agents, to track actresses and journalists. This is still a man’s industry. Where men rule. Let’s hope the truth prevails in the end.
As much as I appreciate these short clips, the people in the comments asking for evidence or accusing Perez of flip-flopping - you literally have a choice of several lawyer you-tubers who break down the entire complaint, and even 'side bar' on the law & crime network have a whole episode detailing the complaints, with context. Perez is just sharing his thoughts in real time, and honeslty, my inner monologue concerning this whole thing looks the same way. I was never a fan of Blake, and I was actually a huge HUGE fan of Justin (i.e. adored his podcast, loved his books, etc) and I'm utterly horrified, devastaed and honeslty, embarrased. We are witnessing what is possibly a next level type of predator in both Baldoni and Heath if these allegations are true and I promise, if you do the work and read the complaint in its entirety, you can then form a solid opinion.

People often look for the perfect victim. The stereotype of ugly and gross perpetrator is easier to digest than a happily married father of two good looking guy. The re-victimization of a potential victim is brutal, mean spirited and gross. Also, people forget that Justin is a sex addict in recovery... rule #1 - You never trust an addict. #2 Addicts by definition live a double life. One for family friends and those that they need to function, and a dark and more sinister one that allows them minimize their actions.
The whole "ME too" movement was about women not having a voice or support. That, they wouldn't be believed. That, they would be seen as disgruntled actresses that never made it and were never going to. I don't have enough facts yet to form an opinion on this...but it's interesting that Blake's choice to come forward with this - immediately attracted so much hate towards her and her husband. Our initial knee-jerk reaction was "Why now? What's her agenda? She was difficult to deal with. She was demanding." Then people wonder why it takes women soooooo long to report sexual harassment. It may just be....that she sued on behalf of the nameless women on set and crew. Maybe...just maybe.....she decided that she was going to put a stop to it so other actresses or studio staff wouldn't have to be subjected to what they went thru during the filming of this movie. Whether this happened or not… and the abusive behavior probably did…..she can’t blame him and his people for the bad press she has gotten lately. She pushed her liquor company in the AM on journalists while promoting a movie about DV …. Made it out to be a light Rom Com… was rude to a journalist. I believe Blake and the woman in the new allegation. I believe women. But I also believe that Blake only seemed to care about men doing harm to women when she didn’t like when she was involved. With Woody Allen, with Harvey Weinstein and even with Leonardo DiCaprio she was fine, so I think this is also about rehabilitating her public image.

The PR team for the movie instructed her to talk about the movie in a light-hearted way, and floral was the theme for both of them until Justin decided to break away from it all.
I don't get it. With whom did they file SH complaints against Baldoni? Don't the accusers have copies of the complaints? Which of the castmates are coming forward? Where is the "stop the behavior" agreement with Justin's signature? BL's team submitted text messages from Baldoni's PR team, but where is the copy of the SH complaints? See for the public, we are outraged at the SH allegations more than the smear campaign, because most of us know Blake trashed her own career So where is THAT proof? Instead, BL's team submitted text messages (and it's a mystery as to how they legally got these private messages before formally filing their complaint). But it's the SH complaint that is the most egregious, but no documents were submitted as support. I'm interested in seeing all the evidence come out. If Justin is a two-faced liar & creep, then he should be exposed in public. But, until all the evidence is actually shown, then he should be judged on what we have seen with our own eyes and not just on what his accuser & her highly paid attorney and PR team are saying.

I think that two things can be true at the same time. One is that Blake Lively was harassed and the set was toxic. I also believe she could be not a nice person. But I don't know her, so I don't care about that. I do care if people are having to put up with that kind of harassment. With someone else coming forward, it sure seems like there's something to it, not just BL being a "mean girl". I think it's important to wait to hear the whole story before judging. I'm not defending Blake in any way, but apparently, that was the whole marketing plot that she didn't decide on. She would talk about it in a light-hearted way while Justin talked about the DV aspects.

I've personally witnessed 3 employees lie about a 4th employee because they assumed the 4th employee was first in line for a promotion. The lead mean girl plotted and got 2 other employees to agree to complain against the 4th employee thereby knocking the 4th employee out of the running for the promotion and nearly getting that employee fired. When the 4th employee stated their innocence, the person in charge said, "I want to believe you, but there are 3 other people stating something different so I have to believe them." The evidence showed the 4th employee was telling the truth, but the damage was already done as the person in charge didn't want the embarrassment of admitting their mistake in judgement. So, just because someone else bad mouths Baldoni, it doesn't necessarily mean that he was inappropriate. BL is not a novice actress on her first film set. She could've called for a intimacy coordinator from day 1, locked her trailer door any time she wanted privacy, pulled away from kissing or sex scenes she felt were inappropriate, etc. At any rate, all of BL's allegations combined amount to a nothing burger. A lot of fuss about nothing as her most serious complaint was that she was targeted with a smear campaign and even that has been debunked as Reynolds and Lively started the smear campaign and Baldoni only responded to it.

His friend who was in the movie was apparently showing people photos of his naked wife and when Blake found out it was his wife she asked if his wife would be ok with that. Then the guy said something along the lines of 'it's fine she is cool about this type of stuff unlike you." So I wouldn't be surprised in Justin's wife is also "cool" like that too.

Perez as a woman what I know, if one woman comes out, there usually will be more. You have to wait till the smoke clears. If the man is harassing one woman, chances are there will be others. Perez is just sharing his thoughts in real time, and honeslty, my inner monologue concerning this whole thing looks the same way. I was never a fan of Blake, and I was actually a huge HUGE fan of Justin (i.e. adored his podcast, loved his books, etc) and I'm utterly horrified, devastaed and honeslty, embarrased. People often look for the perfect victim. The stereotype of ugly and gross perpetrator is easier to digest than a happily married father of two good looking guy. The re-victimization of a potential victim is brutal, mean spirited and gross. Also, people forget that Justin is a sex addict in recovery... rule #1 - You never trust an addict. #2 Addicts by definition live a double life. One for family friends and those that they need to function, and a dark and more sinister one that allows them minimize their actions.
The whole "ME too" movement was about women not having a voice or support. That, they wouldn't be believed. That, they would be seen as disgruntled actresses that never made it and were never going to. I don't have enough facts yet to form an opinion on this...but it's interesting that Blake's choice to come forward with this - immediately attracted so much hate towards her and her husband. Our initial knee-jerk reaction was "Why now? What's her agenda? She was difficult to deal with. She was demanding." Then people wonder why it takes women soooooo long to report sexual harassment. It may just be....that she sued on behalf of the nameless women on set and crew. I don't get it. With whom did they file SH complaints against Baldoni? Don't the accusers have copies of the complaints? Which of the castmates are coming forward? Where is the "stop the behavior" agreement with Justin's signature? BL's team submitted text messages from Baldoni's PR team, but where is the copy of the SH complaints? See for the public, we are outraged at the SH allegations more than the smear campaign, because most of us know Blake trashed her own career So where is THAT proof? Instead, BL's team submitted text messages (and it's a mystery as to how they legally got these private messages before formally filing their complaint). But it's the SH complaint that is the most egregious, but no documents were submitted as support. I'm interested in seeing all the evidence come out. If Justin is a two-faced liar & creep, then he should be exposed in public. Yeah... if there are documents and witnesses of this alleged behavior, and most of the cast members support her, most likely, she's telling the truth. However, I hope she goes through with the legal actions and everything comes to light.
