    I love this tune. It's such a gem, that I feel gets lost because of the volume of work Paul has. Thanks for sharing your insights on it.

    Such a gem of a song/tune....seemingly simple.....yet so gorgeous.......so often that's the recipe......just more McCartney genius. Thanks for sharing....probably take me a year to get down....but will try.....one of my all time favorites.

    The chord in the unfamiliar voicing would be like if you took the C#7 with the C# on the E string, R,5,7,3,5,1 (regular maj bar chord w/the 5th dropped to the 7th) and played it on the A string with the 3 in the bass on the 4 middle strings 3,7,1,5. Chuck Wayne was my teachers teacher and he taught the nifty criss cross chords. Thats four note chords on each of the three sets of consectutive 4 strings on a six string guitar. You could go in a cross from the middle four either left up right up or left or right down! So that would be the exact same chord instead played from the a string

    Thanks as always for the ease/natural explanations with which you teach. Lots of fun stuff on McCartney! I quite enjoy ‘Oo You’ and ‘That Would Be Something’ as well.

    Off the wall question: Does anyone else remember that the album was displayed in record stores with the back cover as the front cover? To this day I think of this album as the one with McCartney and baby Heather in his coat, not the spilled cherries actual cover

    • @sylvainpaquette6485

      It's baby Mary tucked inside his fur-lined leather jacket, not Heather

    Love it! Clever lyrics and gorgeous melody. I like using my finger for strumming. It takes a little getting used to, but it's rewarding once you get the hang of it.

    Thanks for this lesson! Cool chords- I think Paul tried to have The Beatles record this (it’s on Anthology 3) but I think it didn’t pass the band test. Glad Paul recorded it on his own.

    I think with different lyrics this could have ended up on the white album. Does anybody know if this was written in India? Awesome little tune.

    • @nickburr9773
      @nickburr9773 2 года назад +1

      Yes, The Beatles demo'd a load of songs at George's home in Esher when they got back from India, and Junk was one of them, so it was probably written out there.
