Me, a support main, fighting for my life fending off flanks and trying my best just for the tank who didn't buy rejuvenate and keeps overextending to complain about heals.
As a Jenos main I feel represented! I can understand the Inara a little bit in the first game since Jenos heal is really bad with Inara's kit but that person was not only rude from the beginning but also he had a Ying as well. Real weird one blaming supp's like that especially as tank. 7:20 That is a good and reasonably doable play in siege matches. You get some respect for going for it semi blind from me.
Ikr! I've been playing Jenos since he got released and I've had so many ppl tell me to switch to a "better support" or pick a ying. (I still remember that one Barik in rank complaining about me being Jenos, we won that match...I outperformed the enemy support but the Barik was still complaining.) still I do wish that they return his no CD jump. Give him that mobility he deserves. I miss being aggro Jenos and being able to escape flanks without needing help.
Listen, Ive been aa Jenos main since I started playing and I do like these buff he's gotten, and I just got to level 50 with him this double xp weekend, but if I'm the only healer, I gotta work my A off just to keep the damage and the flank that are across the map and the tank on point and another off tank just trying to spawn camp. If I have another healer, I'll survive with these buffs. If I'm solo, I have to pray on muscle memory and hope my team know what rejuvenate is
If you have smaller tanks like Barik or Atlas, his healing is not as much of a problem like Raum, Inara, or Yagorath. Running the increased Astral Mark duration card can help with healing tanks while you place heals on others as well.
I think the biggest issue in Jenos' healing is actually his cooldown, I understand that he has a continuous healing but even with those buffs you can't hold heals for the whole team, you can't Even keep your tank alive since he's the one who recieves the most dmg in match 😐 they could nerf his healing p/second and buff his healing cooldown since you need to put the healing cooldown Card to 5 to work decently. Hope my good baby recieves more buffs 😩
That's sort of my issue too, if the enemy has high dmg output/aoe I can't combat that even with the best heal build + 3 Chronos. Though most of the time if my team ain't dumb, I can usually solo heal and keep them alive.
300 levels on jenos later, I realize it isn't jenos that's bad... It's the people who want to rush in 1v5 situations wanting that mark to heal 2000 a second
Lvl 300 is crazy. My teammates ask me how I am not bored of Jenos all the time and I'm not even lvl 200! Got any tipps or fav thing about Jenos to share?
@@rstyshckls space jam lvl5 for the best jump in the game. Dodges multiple ults, gives projectile and blast characters hell, and you can forget about enemies with no vertical mobility entirely, on maps like bazaar, serpent Beach, timber mill, you name it. I've maxed that card out since 2018... What makes it tricky, is knowing when to cancel stellar wind, as slow fall speed can be your worst enemy.
Interesting approach. I never play Space Jam. Only have it at lvl 3 in a loadout specifically for Bright Marsh. I usually play with lvl 3-4 self heal but I almost exclusively play Luminary too. My fav thing about Jenos is the Void grab. Seriously underrated for a soft cc ability. There are so many small things you can do to utilize his abilities like dodging and wasting Vik ult with Stellar Wind.

While i agree jenos isnt outright bad but i dont think he should be used as the main healer. His heals still feel very weak and corvus is just a straight up better pick. Plus most people dont have your game sense and skill to pull it off.
The true story: Today I've played Luminary Jenos solo-healer King-Of-The-Hill game. We had Inara, Maeve, Skye and Kinessa. In the enemy team was Khan, Skye, Seris and I don't remember rest. Seris healed for total 21000+ HP and I've healed for 45000+. Jenos really can be useful support, but you have to heal. I hate when someone play Binary Star Jenos as a Solo-Healer. Jenos IS underrated, but some players just suck at him.
I love it when people brainlessly blame the support. It gives me a chance to trashtalk back since im a heal main and I know im good "its kinda fun bullying toxic people sometimes" is a true statement
I love jenos. He’s one of my most played supports. The buffs are bringing him in a better direction but he is still not strong enough. Jenos has a kit that has the potential to be really OP so I understand but his healers numbers are just simply still too low. Especially in the new meta of burst healers ie Furia corvus etc. I pray they give him another little boost soon.
My few complaints about being a support player in Paladins: 1) Most of the time, tanks don't get rejuvenate. 2) Flanks (or anyone for that matter but mostly flanks) over extend with little to no HP, die, then blame the supports for no heals. 3) Trying my damn best to heal everyone but God forbid a perfectly healthy teammate gets in the way of my healing ability (depending on the champion ofc) and steals the healing I was trying to give to someone else. 4) People doing the whole "Why am I not getting any heals?" when one if not both supports are dead or getting flanked. 5) And lastly.. Attempting to survive being dove upon and the toxic player is all like "Why aren't you healing me?" and said player REFUSES to help you. If I'm missing anything (which I know I am) feel free to add to the list. Love the content btw. ❤️ Edit: I'm aware #4 and #5 are kind of the same thing.. I'm just not good with wording things.
If Jenos is your only healer on the team it might as well be a throw pick. He needs a strong team around him to flourish. If someone on my team picks Jenos I immediately pick up a second healer for us.
Don't mind me, I've only played Paladins for about 10 hours, but already starting as a Jenos main, Jenos' best use is focusing Void Grip IMO. It REALLY dooms flankers, especially very mobile ones like VII and Maeve. And have good timing on his ult can really change the flow of the game. He is not really an active healer as I like to say, he's more of a passive healer. Plus Seris + Jenos together are deadly. when their ults combo you can delete their whole team
I love Jenos, tho I kinda miss his old attack buff talent TBH, I mean I like the buffed heals don't get me wrong, but personally I see Jenos more of a pocket healer than an on-point one, also at the start of the vid I get Inara was mad cuz a pocket healer can't supply as much healing for a tank but she still acted too toxic, and selfish actually cuz others need heals too actually, and worst of all she didn't get rejuvenate, the only thing that can basically secure better heals specially with a Jenos when healing a tank. Honestly Jenos is underrated just cause he's free and doesn't heal as much as other supports, so some people just fail to understand his real charm.
That's annoying when you have bot in your team, if I play ranked their is 95% chane there is a bot in game and then 45% chane there are 2. And it is not because they quit, they just crash before we can start playing
Same! I'm in Bronze and I can't rank up because they DON'T listen to chat and if it's 1/3 or 3/3, they quit, are toxic or are a bot the whole match. Like, my performance is pretty good, I think, I can't see myself in Bronze. But these ppl make it impossible to rank up.
I would have understood inara if that was solo healer Jenos considering 9 out of 10 times the heals won't be decent but two support is fine as long as....you start by buying the proper items.
Gotta say though as a player since alpha and as someone who before all the healing changes used to love playing Jeno's he is very bad as a full healer even when you are trying to focus heal with another healer his kit basically demands he can't be a good solo helper without being broken but the changes help him feel better even though he will always demand a second healer
I notice that whenever an Inara is a Toxic asshat, they usually are wearing the Frost Walker skin. Why nobody has made a Skin Stereotypes video is beyond me.
Ok so hear me out, jenos is not bad and he heals quite a lot, the thing is that that heal is so slow that even when healing 3 allies across the map you don't get a lot of value from that pick, a healer that can do that and the better is corvus, and in long maps that don't have much walls seris with mortal reach can do pretry much the same thing. While jenos brings some things like decent dps, void grab that can help focus the tank/healer/good dps, decent mobility and a good ult, he is indeed not worth it as a solo support. His true potential comes when he is used as a damage-heal hybrid champion with another main sup, like corvus,furia,rei,etc. At least that's what i got from my 3 and a half years of main support experience Idk about you guys
Personally i have a friend of mine who is like masters or something. But he doesn't seem to enjoy the game anymore. But he taught me about this really broken jenos deck and i started using it on top of just being good at the game...and its pretty insane. I like how i can heal and do damage at the same time. i dont like sacrificing damage for healing. like with seris or something.
I heal people who are being toxic to me because I still try my best to win. Even that Nando that cussed at me in a bot match 2 years ago. (Yes, they were toxic in a bot match because we couldn't push)
ill heal to try and win for everyone else if its the tank, because its not fair to throw when its just 1, but if they get to a point where i snap then ill just ignore them and throw anyways cuz im petty

Built in cauterize made the heals useless sometimes but its not gonna make you a bad healer, you just need a proper team. As a main healer im having an hard time healing on a team mate(since im recently come back playing and unaware of changes), even have rejuv. or none rejuv. specially those stupid one. xD ALSO even you use rejuv. it will not greatly help in a middle of a battle but instead it will give you a breathing room to run away, Remember the effect of reju will start greatly after the cauterize effect ended. It still have effect but the heals are not that great so you should use it to run and hide then receive a proper great heal then back to the battlefield. I encounter a player like this inara they still whining about my useless heals even though they use rejuv. xD Its really useless if you are in under effect of cauterize xD people should understand it.
I have a question is paladins still worth playing after all the updtes i stopped playing a year ago so i dont know whats happening also i have no one to play it with so i got bored and stopped playing but now i wana go back and play but im afraid i get the same kind of feeling i did while i played it a year ago. If yall dont mind and tell me how the game is now and is it still worth it.
Paladins is still a fun game to play, even if you play it as like a side game to play when main games get repetitive. So far, fun season and hope things get better all around

na dont underestimate jenos, mal damba, or ying. i see ying get trashed whenever i play her and i end up doing more healing, damage, and dropping more kills than our damages and flanks. trash talkers are just all ass at the game

He's not wrong. Janos is not a good healer. You played a terrible team and a lot of Janos healing is the self heals to him from healing someone else. That said. His heals as a solo healer will not beat a good team!

I just play Furia 'cause solo support Jenos is painful. Unless my whole team is damage, then I play damage Jenos.

Agreed. Starting off as a Jenos main in Paladins, and I can tell he's not made to be the main healer. He HAS a heal but it's more of a sustain

I have Remix Jenos, Remix Pepper, and Remix Seris. And I have Salt IO. I got my supports on lockdown.

Jenos' one ability makes it so he's in third person. It allows you to escape better. It's similar to Khans grab.

Sadly he has never been played for his healing because Old Lum and Damage Jenos existed. Even when he had a good healing talent.

na dont underestimate jenos, mal damba, or ying. i see ying get trashed whenever i play her and i end up doing more healing, damage, and dropping more kills than our damages and flanks. trash talkers are just all ass at the game

He's not wrong. Janos is not a good healer. You played a terrible team and a lot of Janos healing is the self heals to him from healing someone else. That said. His heals as a solo healer will not beat a good team!
He’s still wrong. That Inara player is quite brain-dead. Kirb did the best he could for that team and got disrespect in return.
