The Freestar Starfighter has become my favorite ship. I rebuild it by following your video every New Game +. I don't like big ships and it's perfect in terms of size. It's beautiful and fast. A perfect ship for a lonewolf. Many thanks, Barden.
So could we get a look at the inside? Just a quick run from landing bay to cockpit? Also how well can the auto-cannons work fixed on the inside of the wings? Seems the wings themselves would be blocking the cannons. Thanks for sharing this!
As far as the interior, I decided not to do a walkthrough of it because it is essentially one hab and the cockpit. The cannons also work and nothing obstructs thier line of sight.
How would the wings be blocking the guns? They're on the inside of the wings, and are pointing straight forward. They're not turrets, lol. Also like he said, the ship layout is literally one main hab and the cockpit. No need for a tour.
This is a sick little build! The only things I would change would be the landing gear and engine layout (because my choices for the two kinda go together, lol). I'd change the landing gear to the Stroud Accu-Landers (the port and starboard side variants to match up with the middle cowling piece on the top), then put the bottom version of the front Stroud cowling on the front of the wings, and add the bottom variant of those Slayton engines behind the middle cowlings on the wings. Then you could probably get rid of the two inboard engines and mount more weapons in their place with another set of the Horizon weapon mounts.
