And this is not to say, a melee DPS will have to take a TB tower as PLD cannot take every single one, this is unironically liveable in theory if you pump a lot of mits in it, even the SAM can potentially get a 3rd eye stack from it. The problem then begins from there, as the wroth stacks hits way too hard, even with 7 people inside it, there's not enough healing/mit to sustain the party. 2 Blues (WAR/PLD), 6 Reds(same comp, but without SAM) is much more feasible but more monkasteer than 4 tanks 4 dps as the fire pairs still require a lot of mits. TB Tower is comfortable if not a bit monka with no healer externals to help you, so at least one or two clemencies will be used here. The wroth stacks will typically be 1 tank + 1 dps, the tank with the stack can just invuln and call it a day, there's RNG here as if both tanks gets it, they can double invuln and not care about it. Otherwise it's using left over mits that were not used in the fire pairs. The monka part after that unironically, since it's pairs into spreads, into double raidwide. With 2 penalty points to lb gen, you can get tank lb 1 here. PLD can potentially sack GCDs to ensure divine wings catch the double raidwide. Joonbob's 4Tanks 4DPS clear was really smart with 2 minute usage as they saved it for the 3 minute window with the adds to reduce overall incoming dmg. This is an amazing run, and props to everyone involved. Now let’s grab popcorn as the “on strike” healers take this out of context and add fuel to their fire, despite the fact that this must’ve been a tight run.
First 3 minutes is relatively free, the mnk can tank a vuln and still live the buster only dealing nearly 400k unmitigated.... (wipe 12 on the log) The last 3 minutes however... was a little funny. You need tank LB2 to somewhat live through the 4 hit stack comfortably. This party comp has 3 penalty points meaning without deliberate LB cheesing it'll take 6:30 for it, you need to cheese about 1500~ ticks to make up for that. Hence the gear strip at the start - it was to ensure we had LB2 before the stack, since other methods were genuinely coincidental (and therefore down to RNG at that time). Post 4 minutes is unironically the hardest part, it was all PLD and RDM with clemency and vercure to keep the ranged players within threshold. It's so bad that the PLD cannot do a full FoF window. And genuinely forced to 1-2 1-2 spam for MP. It can be done better, but variance is a pain. You may have mits, but you don't have enough "free" healing to survive the raidwide transition into enums into titan spreads into aero kb. Passive Regen doesn't work and you'll be limp from the congaline if you used second wind there. There's also RNG with where DNC and SAM are placed on the platforms as they can potentially heal both sides (albeit weaker), which puts less strain on PLD's MP. The stack before chains is mega chilling with lb2, so chilling that the pld wing's was not even mitting it :3 tl:dr Clemency is good, but very costly, if needed so badly, you lose so much dmg for it... There's room for improvement, but savage is around the corner....
@@twistofistoI wonder how it would go if you took 7 smn and staggered their rotations to keep healing. Smn has an aoe heal every minute and target regen every 2, plus self shield. The fight would definitely take longer than this.

Such run would not be possible with randoms, being able to do such runs is fine when party is very well organised, dont think that having too much self sustain built into jobs kit is a problem
That's only cause Alisaie cheats by having Vercure III. Whereas the potency on Vercure is so bad it's weaker for self survivabilty than the other caster's shields by a lot outside of true panic situations. I honestly wish they played more into RDM's real healing potential instead of just making it a rezbot (and penalizing its dps for it).

@NeurosisOsmosis healers are important, you people complaining for the sake of no one. In progging you can even have 3 healers. On the other hand you can also clear fights without tank or dps.
@@scorpiowarrior7841 Perhaps that's simply an example of how it's done poorly then? Frankly speaking, I ended an 8 year healing main career because healing had been reduced to nothing more than fixing other people's mistakes 95% of the time, on top of the fact that we basically don't get a DPS rotation. And what little healing we do gets lost the moment people gear up. Healers need some way to feel valued, and if that means a ticking HP bar or regular raid-wide AOEs, then so be it. It's better than simply feeling like a band-aid that gets blamed whenever someone repeatedly does stupid.
@FGMagala I never said healing wasn't bad, it DOES need to be looked at, but saying 14 needs to have constant raid wide damage going out (exactly like wow) kinda mutes the point of what made 14's healing style appealing, at least what I've heard from most healer mains.
I love playing healer I also like the idea of more jobs having a heal skill, as it puts less stress on the healers. This video shows this off really well.
Lb generation. Since you'll start with less hp, the raidwide will deal enough damage to put the party very low on hp. This generates more lb which they need to survive the stack later on in the fight
Drk sometimes does this kind of thing too It's pretty rare, but sometimes you get fights where doing a prepull TBN is a good idea, but as you get more gear and your HP goes up TBN suddenly stops popping, so you can macro a gearswap for it to make it weaker on purpose so it pops
Just to explain a bit more on this: They remove gear to reduce HP so that the raid wide drops them below 10% hp, when someone receives a heal which brings them out of critical HP, the limit gauge increases. With a healer, you can take this a step further by removing all gear so that you start the fight in critical HP, then heal just enough for the 1st raid wide to drop you back to critical HP. This can also be combined with boss attacks that are lethal unmitigated. If you survive lethal damage that would have killed you without mitigation (lethal meaning the attack does more damage than your total HP unmitigated), the limit gauge increases. So the strategy is to mitigate just enough to survive an attack, and then heal out of critical HP.
I don't think it can be pulled off on bird snake thing but wait someone did show them winning without healers leaving them down but how much support was given I'm not sure.
this is a pretty specific comp and they probably had to kill about the time when they killed bc they blew tank lb3 and a lot mit and heals right before it, not sure how much of it would be up for the next raidwide
'sub optimal job' oh dear, someone doesn't know how to read logs nor understands that picto currently has dancer priority, esp in ex2 where it's doing top DPS.
@@kellevichy I like how you specify that Picto currently has dancer priority, and posts about it on a video where they did not put dance partner on the picto and instead put it on the SAM.... Maybe you misunderstood what i was saying? Check the time stamps... at 50sec into the video they switch their dance partner from the Picto to the SAM. Perhaps you don't know how to read the logs? Cause if you check them it's obvious SAM got a huge raw damage boost, but their rDPS is lower than the Picto, cause SAM had dance partner.
I won't pretend like I know why they did it here, but dance partner swapping is a thing for dancer optimization and speedruns sometimes Considering what they're group is doing here i wouldn't be surprised if they were coordinating with the pct and sam to squeeze out a little more damage
To be fair, this is only possible in the paradise where tanks remember that they have party-wide defensives and DPSs see there is a weeny-tiny button called feint/addler and defensives 😂😂😂
This does sorta prove this game does not need healers (except for current ultimates and early week savage). So if that’s what the healers were trying to say, then you def showed it for them.
Congrats, you cleared one of the easiest extreme fights where 90% of the damage is avoidable! Healers are bad, just remove them from the game obviously. They definitely aren't needed in any other content in the game. Go do this on ex1 or any of the normal raid fights and lmk how it goes!
Do it without smn and rdm and 0 healer + random players. one with and one without prior arrangement and mitigation sheet. lets see how that works. btw, did the uploader know that “a strike is the collective, planned cessation of work by a large number of employees in a company or industry in order to achieve a specific goal (achieving a collectively agreed objective)” and that you can’t strike in a video game?

Healers need some way to feel valued, and if that means a ticking HP bar or regular raid-wide AOEs, then so be it. It's better than simply feeling like a band-aid that gets blamed whenever someone repeatedly does stupid.
@FGMagala I never said healing wasn't bad, it DOES need to be looked at, but saying 14 needs to have constant raid wide damage going out (exactly like wow) kinda mutes the point of what made 14's healing style appealing, at least what I've heard from most healer mains.
This was so cool!!!!!!!!!!
Monk taking that buster is lile ecstacy for me
I love playing healer I also like the idea of more jobs having a heal skill, as it puts less stress on the healers. This video shows this off really well.
Everyone acts like this hasn't been done before on ex trials
bet they regret those second wind buffs now
Healer strike is alive and well I see...
"0 Healers"
What do you mean the paladin is right there? 🤔
Plus Summoner Solar and Phoenix Heal and Dancer Heal and Shield and redmage heal plus Pictoheal. There plus second wind.
Do I smell another healer strike?
Is there a reason to gear changes when starting combat?
Lb generation. Since you'll start with less hp, the raidwide will deal enough damage to put the party very low on hp. This generates more lb which they need to survive the stack later on in the fight
Drk sometimes does this kind of thing too
It's pretty rare, but sometimes you get fights where doing a prepull TBN is a good idea, but as you get more gear and your HP goes up TBN suddenly stops popping, so you can macro a gearswap for it to make it weaker on purpose so it pops
HEALERS STRIKE 2.0
cracked
Seems like this would have went even faster if you had a ninja instead of red mage
What are healers?
tat's cool
Healer strike? no problem!
what is this hp drop on begining??
They unequipped and re-equipped gear. This way they gain more LB due to healing the missing portion of HP.
Great run 🎉 Love the persona 5 rep‼️
If there is no healer where is the shields and heals coming from ?
Dancer, Reaper, Monk, Red Mage, Pictomancer, Summoner and Paladin all can give healing and or shielding
W
I have just one Thing to say... WTF
I knew healers are useless when they can't even raise haurchefant..
Long live Haurchefaunt
As a white mage lover, this makes me really sad.
Make an all healers party 😊
Or maybe 2 tank and 6 heals
@@Lily_Catt- sadly, we'll lack dps :)
@@TheMiniJidka true 🙂
I remember doing Thaleia 24 healers, and that took about an hour, lol. It was fun tho
and people are out here crying that dawntrail is too difficult...
Forum post when?
Now do Valigarmanda.
pretty rare to see someone actually spelled its name right, lol
Its also rare to see someone not say bird snake thing lol@@Saihamaru
I don't think it can be pulled off on bird snake thing but wait someone did show them winning without healers leaving them down but how much support was given I'm not sure.
@@1Individualist EX1 has already been cleared without healers.
we did 8 tanks it was easy
No wonder no one joins my pf for this when I’m on healer 😬😬
Dare I even ask how many wipes you had before this one?
48 Wipes
4 Kills
healerstrike? no problem
😮😮😮
Healer strike was 100% right
This feels like a big problem but I'm too busy laughing to care.
@krowtic6807 how, they had to practice this a lot, my guy. Problem is some people are trash
this is a pretty specific comp and they probably had to kill about the time when they killed bc they blew tank lb3 and a lot mit and heals right before it, not sure how much of it would be up for the next raidwide
@@cha7er Tank LB3 wouldve killed them. They used LB2 which has longer duration.
Now do it with jobs that can't heal other jobs
Did you check the logs to see if they used healing abilities? And if so, how often? Should any ability that gives any healing be cut too? Hmmm.
ill be very careful when yous ay healer is useless YoshiP will give us a very serious DoT raidwide that the healer will cry to nerf the savage
Holy shit lol
Healers BTFO
type shi
I really hope this pisses at least somebody off
2 tanks would be better when pld and rdm have to waste dps using healing spells
Still putting dance partner on a sub optimal job i see.
I won't pretend like I know why they did it here, but dance partner swapping is a thing for dancer optimization and speedruns sometimes
Considering what they're group is doing here i wouldn't be surprised if they were coordinating with the pct and sam to squeeze out a little more damage
"but the game is too hard"
I'm starting to think the healer strike guys were onto something..
I guess healers really aren't needed lol we're a dying breed
Now try ex1
joonbob did ex1 without healer... vid soon or maybe its up
Nice title, LOL.
To be fair, this is only possible in the paradise where tanks remember that they have party-wide defensives and DPSs see there is a weeny-tiny button called feint/addler and defensives 😂😂😂
Imagine if there was a ninja de buffing for even more damage
we considered this, but ultimately every job taken was too important for survivability from the line onwards
Ahahaha Healer Strike What Healer Strike?
Very good job, but as a healer I can't help but be just a bit depressed at this.
now yall can touch grass 😂
no but wow the dedication is very commendable! good job yall!
This saddens me. As a WHM main it has sucked to watch my role be reduced in value patch by patch over the past six years.
This does sorta prove this game does not need healers (except for current ultimates and early week savage). So if that’s what the healers were trying to say, then you def showed it for them.
TOP was done without healers on patch
Congrats, you cleared one of the easiest extreme fights where 90% of the damage is avoidable! Healers are bad, just remove them from the game obviously. They definitely aren't needed in any other content in the game. Go do this on ex1 or any of the normal raid fights and lmk how it goes!
This game is in a really bad state.
please, you're gonna make the healers go on strike again
You mean the 5 of them that actually care?
Great now you’re gonna convince every Andy they can do this without healers. There goes pf
Needs more WAR
Clemency's spammability wins for this sort of thing.
" HAHA !!! SUCK IT HEALER !!! "
- me who main SCH -
Cry me a healer
I hope FF community cancels Dola Reanna @Spriggan
I hope the FF community cancels your hair Yushi Sora NOT @Cerberus
@@goruav492 what the hell!!!
What's your point? Is this not impressive?
@@xela4854 it's impressive but its a challenge run. people will use this video and still say "öööh... look se, healers are useless."
it's like watching someone do their challenge run in Elden Ring/Cuphead/Alien Isolation/whatever and saying, "Look how easy that is.".
I mean, you can kill Ucob - Golden Bahamut - with 1 DD, 5 tanks and 2 healers. That means DDs are now useless too, right?!
@@samends8863 wtf r u talking about 💀 bro is delusional
@@fletcher8263 *sis is delusional. have you never heard of the "healer strike" and that they already used a video of a challenge run on the forum to "show how useless healers have become" even though that's utter bullshit?!
go cry on ff forums
Meh not impressed it's an easy fight .
Put your money where your mouth is, *then* say it's easy lol
obvious troll, but i'll bite
if it's easy, surely you can do the same no healer run, right?
we're waiting
I mean, the fights not actually that hard.
They didn't told you it was difficult to accomplish, they just proved it was possible
Also, when there is still a lot of groups who need a healer ... Honestly it's pretty cool to see this video
And maybe it will make people want to try, and some will find new strats to go even faster, and that's so cool.
Why isn't it impressive? There's a lot of thought and planning that goes into stuff like this
