I have been training kbs and cals for over twenty years and this had some decent instruction but missed a lot of important nuances that will cause frustration and possibly injury for beginners. Just a few glaring omissions included not treating the light kbs like heavy ones to ingrain safe form mechanics, not drilling kb deadlifts before swings, letting Daniel lift with his arms in the swing rather than a powerful hike and hip thrust, not drilling cleans before presses and not showing how the lats must be engaged in most movements. Too bad Daniel didn't get to work with Aleks Salkin when he was in Oz last week. He teaches StrongFirst kb/ cals/ Original Strength in combo and excels in breaking it down for beginners.

I’ve had KBs for a few months now, they are the foundation of my training especially since I haven’t been going to the gym lately. It’s a great way to get me gassed quick and keep my weight down. Only been doing swings and squats tho, excited to add more movements to my routine. They aren’t super awesome hypertrophy tools tho, so I think my muscle mass has dropped a bit. Not a lot but some, gotta get back under those barbells.

Be ready for Lebe Stark to give you a form check.
Your expertise both as an athlete and a physio maybe helped in making you such a fast learner. Most beginners should expect to put in a good deal of practice to learn proper execution of these movements.
    Next, clubs and mace?

The form in this is horrendous. Doing this with a heavy bell is asking for injury. Elbows are flared and wrist alignment is so bad it hurts me. I love this channel for calisthenics, but this is a big fail. Lebe Stark or Mark Wildman are where people should get kettlebell info. I hope he doesn't move to club or mace with this form!

I've been doing kettlebell, calisthenics, and movement training (primal movement, natural movement) primarily for a few years now and it's absolutely killer. They take time to understand and learn.
