    I had mixed feelings posting a comment on your video but I feel it will help you
    1st. If you don’t want to visit a country for various reason just don’t go. Don’t do it just to please a group of people .
    2. You deliberately avoid tourists sections and focus on places which are not tourist sites this is what I call passive aggressive dislike. You had the opportunity to show the cathedrals, the park of love, the bridge of sights, la plaza de armas or the electric train etc,etc sadly you missed having fun.
    3. you did not stay in a nice neighborhood but instead you stayed in a “okay” neighborhood where there is not hotels which lead me to believe that you stayed in a friend’s house. I myself wouldn’t go to San Miguel is a working in pogress development
    3. Ceviche is not an avocado salad, let me explain myself, before ceviche became popular there was the famous shrimp cocktail which is very well known in the states. Mexico as well other countries like Ecuador copied the stile just Changed the marinara sauce for ketchup. And it was called cocktail de camarones o de pescado and that’s the reason why Ecuador cook their shrimp. Once ceviche became worldwide known everyone changed it to ceviche name except the States.
    4 your partner looks and act very bored to the point that he didn’t know you can’t eat meat. Well that’s on you guys.
    5 there was a lot of hidden condescending words like “if you want to eat cheap” and “if you don’t speak English people here will take advantage of you” but you are a sabo kid and by that terminology you know they knew you were not from there. Any place you go they know. nevertheless they will understand you.

      A comment is always appreciated! Regardless of the content of it, it helps me out like you said so never hesitate to comment ☺️I would never visit a place just to please people. I have been travelling full time for the last 6 years and only started my RUclips channel less than a year ago. I actually went to most of the places you named, please watch until the end if you’d like to see their feature😊. Like I said I have been travelling for 6 years, therefore I travel slow and I stay in Airbnbs, with my focus on finding an apartment that suits me and my baby, and has a good price. Life as a nomad vs a tourist makes things completely different. I am a single mom, the guy in the video who you called my “partner” is my brother, who I am no longer in contact with.

    • @prechathenomadmama
      @prechathenomadmama  7 месяцев назад

      I’m also unsure what you mean by sabo kid?
      1. I’m always looking to save money by eating local food at local prices
      2. I’ll always try to speak the local language everywhere I go, even if it’s just the basics. I’m proud to say I now speak Spanish fluently. I would recommend any traveller to try and learn the local language, the locals will appreciate it and treat you different than the average tourist. I’m very aware I don’t speak Spanish like a Peruvian.

      Hello;
      Thank you for your quick response
      1 What is a sabo kid? child or person
      That grew up in a Spanish speaking community or household but doesn’t practice therefore it builds an accent which for some is considered lazy and for others is cute this terminology doesn’t have negative connotation it is just a pet’s name.
      2 Peru is not expensive is rather inexpensive and even places like San Isidro’s are fairly good. Perhaps my comments were a bit off but you have to admit that your video doesn’t do you justice and I base my opinion on your response which it shows you are a very humble person. Just let me apologize if I read you wrong. My last advice enjoy life and what you do. remember life is what make of it
      Thanks

      @@QEXUA No problem. In that case I’m not a sabo kid, I am half Chinese half French, I grew up with a Chinese single mom. My son is half Mexican and I lived in Mexico for one year, and spent his first year of life travelling around Latin America. 3 years ago I spoke 0 Spanish. Thank you for the tip, I’ll look into other neighbourhoods the next time I’m in Lima. Have a blessed day 🙌
