I hv not heard any rendition of this song better than the one by Dr Vasantrao Deshpande. The phirak in the voice & the taan are unmatched to this time. I am not trying to discredit this singer by any means,in fact its heartening to hear one more singer taking on this gem of a composition.

Has a combination of emotion and virtuosity, both of which are accommodated well by the voice.Surely the Mangeshkar family knows whom to compliment so hugely as to say that this youth truly represents Dinanath's tradition.

Bharat is a great singer! The range of his voice and the depth is just superb. He is young too. But he has a superlative ego! Ghamand mansacha sarvanash karta! Beware of this Bharat Balvalli. You have a long way to go before you call yourself Swaradhish. What vanity!

Naman Nag's advice should be taken seriously if the singer thinks excessively of himself and his singing quality. Bharat Balvalli is ceratinly among the new crop of promising, young singers but he has a long way to go. I do not know who prematurely gave him the title Swaradhish".
