- the name lives to its reputation. This 2012 Toyota Hilux is truly a work horse that everybody can depend on. Its been all over the country with poor maintenance and surprisingly, this truck is still ready to go!

It’s a 3.0 1kd engine. I have the same but 2015 model I use it as a daily and travel all around mindanao and been to luzon as well but sadly I crashed it and it was a total wreck. That engine is a tank and never gave me headaches, never tumirik saakin even though I didn’t take good care of it kasi change oil ko always 15k and sometimes abot ako 20k saka hard kilometers pa kasi I tow a trailer 1.5ton trailer pero it never skipped a beat. That car genuinely loved me bad but sadly I lost her. Now I own a 2012 bought it used pero in good condition and same parin ng engine 3.0 but older model and mag 1year na sakin this july but I already did 80k kilometers wala padin problema other than intercooler pumutok kasi nag remap ako and di kaya ng stock intercooler yung tune kasi plastic lang ang intercooler nyan and super liit so I upgraded it to front mount. Thank you for making this video kasi super nostalgic hehe
Alagaan nyo na boss yung new hilux nyo hehe its a very good car value for money

Still have my 2012 fortuner G, 130+ odo, still strong and still looks good, hindi pa naman napag iiwanan ng itsura so far, I mean kaya pa 😅.
Same 2012 3.0v 4x4 fortuner @155k odometer. Used it as a daily car. . Reliable tlga hehe sarap patakbuhin. Meron dn aq neto 2012 model dn 2.5a/t. La ko masabi. . Matagtag pero given na un hahha
I think its 3.0 1KD, we have 2.5 or the 2KD, mas powerful po yan kesa sa 2.5, Both were reliable, the 2KD is not that powerful but wala pa siyang binigay na major problems for 8 years and still looks like brand new.

in my experience mas smooth pa idrive yung 2kd non-vnt. Kahit di ganun kalakas mas gusto ko idrive yung 2kd namin. Sobrang wala ako masabi never nagbago yung takbo. We had a 3.0 and 2.4 hilux after that pero walang tatalo sa 2kd para sakin.

We own a hilux came to our family nun Oct 2006 fresh from casa. Its 4x4 AT & ang milage is 166k, super tipid ng krudo. Mga sir anyone know saan makabili ng rear stainless bumper? 😅nabangga ng trycicle at phase out na daw sabi ng casa.
