This is what was missing from 1984. Action scenes of physical fighting, not green screen footage of her hopping and sliding around all over the place with the lasso.
1984 was just “meh” to me. I saw what it was trying to do, Cheetah’s design(especially after she goes “wish-ified”) was really good and well done, the reveal of the Golden Eagle was awesome, and the OG Wonder Woman cameo was a good nod to previous generations. However, there are so many glaring issues about it that I cannot bring myself to watch it again without dying a bit on the inside. It’s why I’m currently subjecting myself to sitting through Zack’s cut of Justice League which is about 4 hours.

This is cause they switched screen writers when they made 1984. The people that wrote Transformers 1 & 2 wrote 1984.
It looks like the Germans are the enemy in most movies, but what their purpose was is just defending their ally.

Yes,The German Empire can't fully be blamed as the bad guy in ww1,since all the countries in ww1,be it the entete or the central powers were allies who had reassurements with esch other to fight along with their allies,should war break out.
But Germany,like all the others,did not make any attempt to dissolve the crisis by negotiating.Instead they Entourage Austria Hungary to go to War with Serbia.
@@marcoherrmann1820 That takes no small amount of intellectual honesty, especially regarding your own nation's history, especially given Germany's history and reputation. You should be applauded for being willing to confront it honestly.
The whole start of WW1 is just a royal mess looking back on it now, and it all could have been avoided if folks had actually talked and, as you said, Germany and Austria-Hungary hadn't "stoked the furnace" by rapidly escalating things. It didn't help that the Romanovs would soon be overthrown and lead to over 100 (and still ongoing) years of misery in Russia.

This comment section is annoyingly dumb. We literally got an entire 40 minutes worth of exposition explaining how she's a literal demigod from a magic island full of superhuman warriors, and people are complaining anyway.
Is NOBODY stopping to consider that maybe her armour is enchanted or a different type of metal than usual that's native to Themyscira?
Charlie should have had a PPSh-41 and Sameer should have had a few cherry bombs a Molotov cocktail also the chief should’ve had a portable old fashioned camera also the germans should’ve had a young female engineer who chews bubble gum occasionally and the Germans should’ve had a giant drilling vehicle I know these are anachronistic but still missed opportunity for a cooler story

I just really want to know why the sniper gave away his position by killing someone who didnt have a weapon, when there are two people who literally just wiped out the entire local army standing out in the open. Odd choice buddy.
Okay this scene was cool and satisfying until I watch All Quiet On The Western Front. That movie opens your third eye and makes you look at a situation from multiple sides. And then,nothing becomes the same. And now, this scene was nothing more than a fan service to me
I had read the book before watching the movie, so I didn't take much satisfaction in seeing them thrashed this hard. Great action scene though, and she's not slaughtering them like John wick, so that's nice.

That woman was kicking ass in that fight scene! She was making the boys look bad trying to keep up lol! Well, she's a demi goddess and her against an ordinary human might be considered unfair. But what the Nazis were doing was unfair to a good people so there you go! They needed a taste of their own medicine! She DEFINITELY administered a healthy dose of that! Gal Gadot did a great job as the heroine! Perfect casting!

@@32123ABCBA another thing I want point out here is logistics. The bell tower could be replaced or rebuilt… your life cannot! I don’t think people were picky on how they wanted their lives to be saved in this. And your point on the uniforms, this group are literally rebels. Going against orders to fall back and not intervene. I know this movie came out back 2017, but please try to pay attention and use your last brain cell to put pieces together.
Plus, I think the reason so many people confuse uniforms is that they were very, very similar. Same color and same sort of style, with the only differences being that ww2 uniforms were slightly more sophisticated, but again these are rebels, having to move in very stressful situations and adapt in ways (like changing up clothing). Also in the scene after this, when Steve and Diana are dancing, it starts snowing. The uniforms in ww2 don’t look to be the kinds that protect against the elements very well, thus the change in clothes.
