Why are these multi million dollar houses being built in middle class neighborhoods? This house is on top of the neighbors. If I had the money I would also like some land and privacy. Who in the world is buying these homes?
The simple answer; It’s not a middle class neighborhood.
Green Hills has always been an upscale neighborhood. Belle Mead, Forest Hills, and Oak Hill, are the high and ultra high net worth neighborhoods in Nashville. That being said, some of these homes are not built with high end finishes. This house has no outdoor kitchen. The primary suites in Nashville are all very small, not sitting areas and the closets are not the best. In the bathrooms, there should be hand held shower wands the garage floors should be epoxied. These are things that the new homeowner will have to perform and upgrade. The front courtyard is a pleasant surprise. There are people making these purchases.
Yes it’s an eye sore to see small and mid size homes and then these massive mansions pop up out of the blue! They are an eye sore for the neighborhood!

looks really bad for $4.2million. Nothing about this one pops as 'luxury', just that it has lots of rooms. The master bedroom looks sad, while the other rooms look better even the en suite bathrooms. Can you explain where the money is going? Why do the interior lights look so sad? Pause at 6:29, the dining room and kitchen look very dark, like a cave, with no windows or lights to bring it live. We are picky here only because $4.2million.....
