This blend technique is possible for this color and others like it...some may be more attentive especially if there is a variant issue

Hahaha I'll tell you the secret of 520. 2 mins flash literally. And bake right right right away after second code for 20 at 120 you can out both coats wet 👍 let me know how it goes !!!

How many turns and bar you have in basecoat and how many bars in first and second clearcoat?
Your water cleaner is swx350 right? Because swx100 is the gun cleaner lol unless they recently changed it thanks for the tips I spay nexa aquabase which is a little lower of a grade than ppg enviorobase

What size air hose do you have going to the paint gun
Question. I have a black Matt with Matt clear coat from factory. I have a small scratches on the deck lead. I know this Matt paint is unforgiving but can this be Wet sanded and Matt cleared? What are my options? Thanks for your help. Thanks, Jerry
There isn't much you can do other than repainting brother if it's deep you need to primer and base coat and clear coat. That can involve blending the adjacent panels as well

HTE base 1.2 hte clear 1.2 my favorite is HTE base 1.3 though and I have them on my website ! Motivatedpainters.com
What hardener and reducer did you use in the sealer I'm told use 391 hardener with 75 reducer

Nice job Gabe, do you find any difference on the clear when you spray sealer on that same panel? I find if I seal the panel paint and clear the clear looks like it shrinks back and it's not as flat as the panel without the sealer ..
Yeah sealer will give you some texture. Letting it flash 10-15 mins will make a difference

I have the same issue. It pulls the paint in more I find. I let the sealer flash as long as I can.

Nope never out the digital anything in the gunwash.
Plastic sprayer works best for me I haven't tried the other ones yer
Gabriel, im a new subscriber! I love the channel! Im working on my first full paint job and will be using ppg deltron. My color is a midnight blue vw color, LD5Q. Some blue pearl in it. I haven't done a test panel yet but was interested if you advise a drop coat on this dark blue metallic? Thank you, i appreciate your time and great information.
Always do a control coat regardless of the color!

Haha on the record. Many many reasons one of them being the finish is just as good as the iwata but is lighter, easier to clean, a caring company that is family owned, forward thinking, willing to listen to suggestions like so many reasons

Awesome job, on the Jaguar SUV, on the rear door where the glass is, how much do you have to wait to paint the inside of the door, also you painted the two rear panels, but when you take of the tape, how do you get the new paint to blend with the rest of the paint so it can be perfect like the job you always do.
The inside of that doesn't get painted it comes textured so for this one's it doesn't get painted. For others I would have painted the inside and out at the same time
It*s interesting to know, first time, I hear a part comes textured, normally it would be painted like you say, also I notice on the left rear wheel it was not covered, I was worried ver the overspray.

I just happen to see it, not like the other wheel that was covered, and since you do an awesome job, I was surprised to see it unless it was covered in clear, but the other wheel, was covered, even if the SUV, was covered

Gabriel, Lately I have been having die back problems with my clear coat. It looks good once I finish clearing, but by the next morning it starts to die back. What could be the cause of it? I know it's probably a million different causes.
I would start with asking myself. To much to fast???
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS That's what I'm wondering. The tech sheet on the clear i'm using says 3 to 5 min between coats. I was doing that and still had that problem. I talked to the company and they said maybe to wait maybe 10 to 15 min and i still have that problem. What would be the longest that I may be able to wait between coats?

There is no magic gun which is game changer.Any quality gun more or less will give you same results.People who portray one gun as miles better or another level compared to other are just too pasionate.This is why you have so many people claiming their gun is the best.Sata 5500 is no worse than "the best gun" out there
True words but I have to say there are much differenses how each gun sprays and results will also depend which color system you are using and some guns just fits better dif colorbrands. I think iwata ws400 is perfect choice for me to do blendings with hi-tec waterbase colors and I usually dont need even wet bed to do blends with it. Maybe after I get used to sata 5500 I will get nearly the same results with it but im afraid only nearly. I was also very dissapointed bcs sata 5000 basegun did corrode and we are talking about some high-end brand of sprayguns.
