I feel Netflix did not advertise this show enough and seems to be so quick to cancel it. Some of us were late to watching it and are now hooked! Give a a season 4 and watch the viewership double! Guaranteed!
netflix didnt cancel it, Discovery/warner who owns the IP rights did. Netflix only license it for streaming on their channel
I've been a Bruce Lee fan since my birth 1974. Also a fan of both of his children I'll never forget Brandon Lee. And of course Shannon, thank you for carrying on the Lee Legacy 🙏.

Warrior is what the old TV Series "Kung Fu" was supposed to be. A pity the movie industry, at the time (even more than today), was too caught up in negative perspectives to allow Bruce Lee to shine as bright as he was capable of.
I don't know how accurate you are on that but they definitely messed up when they turned down Bruce Lee for that part.
Bruce Lee's movie career had taken off by the time Kung Fu was on TV in the 1970s. My Dad liked it.
How about a "reboot" of Kung Fu WITH AAPI cast and crew. I'd watch that!
Not true. People always get this mixed up because of films like Dragon. Warrior was rejected and the studios came up with Kung Fu instead. Can you really imagine Bruce Lee as the peace loving Caine?

Kung Fu had more Asian actors than any other show at the time, showed more Asian culture than any other show until then. Also, they did audition Asian actors for the leading role, and then they auditioned White ones. Carradine won the role at his second audition. He was the best for that role. Ever watched the show?
Warrior is a stellar show. OMG the costumes for Olivia are out of this world. Yay Season 4!

I love Katie Phang's show she always has something new to say.
This is one of my all-time favorite shows. Warrior is freaking amazing. I'm happy to see it get some coverage. It needs way more attention. Shows of this quality are hard to find. Amazing setting, story, characters, and martial arts. It is made with so much passion and it shows!

Thank you very much Netflix viewers. I've been watching since season one and have loved every episode. I'm glad that the show is finally getting the attention and appreciation it deserves. I know that some folks may be drawn to the show for the martial arts action, but there are some tremendous actors from top to bottom with my favorite being Jason Tobin. This guy's no one trick pony, he's got some real deal acting chops. I was so happy to see Mark Dacascos in season 3. And the ladies, oh the ladies. So strong, so fierce, so elegant, complex and beautiful. The ladies are no throw away characters. They are essential to the story and each get their well-deserved time to shine.

It wasn't the fight scenes for me. It was the storyline that I found so enthralling.

Love this masterpiece show! Bruce Lee was my hero in real time as a kid. Drive-in movies with my Dad in late '60's-until 1973 Enter The Dragon. The following week, I watched news that Bruce Lee died. I was shocked & sad.

This is such a great show, lots of groups have their unique history in the United States. Very important for the wider society to in see how things used to be, to understand why things are the way the are.

The leading men can’t hold a candle to the women in this tale. I was three the first time I laid eyes on Bruce Lee, Shannon’s dad. He was my first hero and he will always be. The male characters are all facets of him in my opinion. Wise, passionate, powerful and so dynamic. I love this show. He would be so proud of what his baby did with his vision. It’s an all inclusive story of American history, culture studies and human frailty. Truly a must watch. If you haven’t seen it, now is the time. You can binge it! Netflix someone has to bring this back. Such a great show.

i love this show... i live in Gold Country and people up here still know the history of how the Chinese were the work force up here during the Gold Rush, and Mooney Flat Rd is a real road that leads to Bridgeport, the longest covered bridge in the country where people would cross the south fork of the Yuba River on thier way to Goodyears Bar (where the first big strike in 1848 was hit) and Downieville... there is an unmarked Chinese graveyard not far from my shop in Nevada City, that they say is haunted by a great big mean old man who was not kind to the Chinese... i say a prayer of blessings to those poor old Chinese souls every time i pass by it... the Chinese were so mistreated... thank you Shannon for bringing your fathers work to life... 🙏
This show got me interested in learning more about this part of history for Chinese Americans. I knew it was rough but I had no idea in what ways.

This series is by far the absolute display of Bruce Lee style fight scenes that are at the highest level of choreography and techniques. Along with intense drama, action and an incredible cast, this is a MUST watch series that I hope Netflix continues the story in a season 4.
Love Katie Phang, this was a wonderful segment. Warriors is a great series that is a must watch. It has history, costumes, drama and most of all fighting. A really good series, can't wait for the next seasons on Netflix. So happy the family has been fully supported to bring this masterpiece to the people 💗
Oh, my gosh...So amazing to see Shannon Lee and know that she is producing her father's work. I am a loooong-time fan of Bruce Lee, love to watch him fight! Enter The Dragon is my favorite I think; I could watch it a million times! I am also an avid history buff. I didn't know Warrior was on Netflix, but I am going to start binging now!
I think Warrior deserves another season. The story line, the action... Especially, to see Women Empowerment represented in this show. Each episode became more intriguing. Netflix, please bring another season!
Thank you, Katie Phang for shinging a spotlight on this show. I've loved it from day one. From the grittiness to the amazing hip hop tracks at the end of every show. I worry that every season will be the last. If you've been a fan of Bruce Lee, a great way to honor him would be to watch this show and get your friends to watch it. This was HIS dream and he was done dirty when they gave it to David Carradine. We need more Warrior!

This show is spectacular and it is criminal that most have never even heard of it. Some of the episodes are literally the finest pieces of television I’ve ever seen. The direction and action is incredible, and the cast is so well casted. Netflix please give us another season.
I completed watching the whole story segments of this epic Warrior film..its beautiful story..I am a Filipino and I love watching Asian movies, like Chinese movies..More of this kind, Ms. Shannon Lee. Thank you 😊
Completely hooked and watching the 2nd time through. Great character development and depictuins of the plight of the Chinese and Irish after the railroads were completed and the 3-day riot of 1877. Sad that the Chinese faced this for 50 more years until WWI. I ran a bank in Chinatown Oakland - It's amazing how closed the community is, many even down to the 70's teens that never even stepped foot out of Chinatown.
Forgot to mention how I was drawn into the historical side of this show. I researched that time, the Chinese, the Irish, San Francisco, the whole labor issues, etc. I much appreciated the juxtaposition of labor issues, political issues, brothels, very intelligent and educational.
I wish for the show to continue, it is so amazing and the entire cast are is fantastic, they organising their own publicity to make this happen.
watch this show, it’s one of the best *ever* made. writing, acting, philosophy, history, action, relationships, sets, atmosphere, suspense, humor, it’s as good as anything else ever made (Wire, Breaking Bad, etc). it’s astonishing. watched it thru 3x and it gets only better each time.

Onion doesn’t come from anything. Justin Lin said they just made up their own slang, because so many Chinese people were coming to America they were as valuable as an onion, which is explained in episode one. This show is absolutely remarkable, which isn’t surprising since the same people made Banshee and Black Sails.
I didn’t want it to end, this is one of the best shows. The cast is amazing and beautiful.

Wait, I thought the series was cancelled...again? Is Netflix going to keep it going?! This show has been shuffled around to 3 different streaming services over the last 5 years. I'm glad it made its way to Netflix though. It's a fantastic show and deserves way more exposure.

I love Warrior! Watched from start to finish; interesting ending...or lead in to next season? Chao? Every! character is so compelling and each draw you into their world. Yes, the vernacular, apparently representing certain aspects of an underworld of the culture..very colorful.

This show was good, much better than I anticipated, even though I had a feeling it would be good. My only gripe would be the ending, if it is indeed the ending, it was kind of dry, felt rushed, and incomplete, imo...unless they bring it back for another season and add to it.

Hopefully Netflix will add another 3 seasons for a total of six! Also the show deserves a movie. After the first episode, I was hooked! The added bonus is that a lineage of Bruce Lee is at the helm.
