Actually, in the 2012 Finals, LeBron upped his stats from 27/8/6 to 29/10/7. Yes, he did it on less efficient splits, but anyone who has watched LeBron for this long can honestly tell you that the 2012 Finals was his most consistent stretch of dominance. He never dipped below 26 points, and one can see that against a team that was favored to beat him before the series began, he dominated them through his paint and playmaking exploits. Not to mention the fact that this truly was peak LeBron defensively.

I love that one of the clips for KD in 2017 FMVP run was him literally just running to the basket with not a single defender never attempting to move in his direction. 2 defenders sitting next to Curry and 1 watching Klay.

Giannis in 2021 easily had a better finals performance than lebron in 2016, much better statistically, better defensively, better close out performance of nba finals history, and did all that coming of a nasty knee injury where his knee bent backwards, which usually keeps players away from playing for at leat a month but there was giannis, 1 week after getting injured, giving 35 points a night to one of the best defenses in the league, and if your argument to have lebrons performance ranked ahead of giannis's is "coming back from a 3-1 deficit", guess what, lebron was the one who got himself in that defecit.

I have this theory that the warriors Celtics nba finals will be like the 2016 wcf between the warriors and thunder, so game 1 okc came back and won while down big celtics did that too, game 2 okc/celtics kept it close in the first half, but then the warriors destroyed them in the 2nd half and blew them out, game 3-4 okc blew out the warriors to take a 3-1 lead, I see the celtics doing the same, game 5 the warriors stay ahead the whole time and win by like 10 points, I see the warriors doing the same against the celtics, game 6 okc was up big but blew a lead late in the game and the legendary mkay game 6, I see the celtics doing the same blowing a big lead late like okc and klay going off, and game 7 the warriors win a close game vs the celtics and comeback 3-1 just like they did vs okc

Mainly because of the implications compared to everyone else. Remember I am comparing it to the other FMVPs. All the other ones (except Iggy) were from first options just being superstars doing what they do best. Kawhi at that time was just the guy who was hitting so he was being fed. Plus as you can imagine the love was being spread everywhere when it came to scoring. If he didn’t have the defensive impact it probably would’ve gone to someone else.
