I'm not really a battle tower enjoyer but ngl, I really like all three of the new ones. Limiting them to certain characters makes it really fun because we get to utilize our entire account and not just the same 3
Late comment from me on this one! I brought all my characters except for Cloud, Barret, and Cait to 80. I will get those three to 80 by the end of the event though. I LOVE the new towers! I’ve been sitting on the old tower at like 75 because I just… didn’t care lol. I liked the new one more, because it made me think about how to beat certain challenges in ways that differ from how I usually approach said challenges. I LOVE character lockout challenges in my games, so I’m all for it! Also makes me feel vindicated for playing more than three characters lol. Cleared all three tower sets and am ready for the next set! Grats on beating floor 70 btw! Can’t remember if you’d already mentioned beating it or not.
@@Nitelight9 hey man, that’s the beauty of them. People may not wanna watch them, but they’re there when we are ready! Also, hopefully the beefed up rewards make people more excited to prog them.
plenty of stamina. Two groups done out the gate. Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Sephiroth, Zack and Barret. The rest will be naturally done over the course of the event. I was almost tempted to pick up the Stamina pot pass and just finish the lot but those six characters have OB6+ weapons for EVERYTHING. EX3 actually ended up being easy, same group I used for EX2 the difference between being able to auto EX3 and not were those 10 levels.
The one thing I feel the game is lacking, and it was the main reason for most of the FF7 fanbase to get excited about EC, is more story content. Harder challenges are great for the reasons you mentioned in the video, especially when the rewards are worth our time and effort, but to those of us who play the game to get more FF7 content I feel there’s only so much those challenges can do in terms of getting us excited to play more. I do enjoy the challenge but I hope at some point they start to give us new story content more frequently.
@@Nitelight9 hopefully releasing two chapters simultaneously for The First Soldier was the first step in the right direction. And I know I struggled a lot to beat the Ch. 7 boss so, for those who mostly care about clearing hard content and nothing else, it’s not as if there’s no real challenge in story chapters.
@@zycmi yeah, having to copy and paste and start over a lot is annoying. But nothing moreso than story mode where it completely resets everything every time lol
Did we really need the same dull exp grind , even when it is with bombs? And instead of a real challange beside crash we just got the new towers which seem to be the area were we get the noble character nodes from.
I get that it seems a bit grindy... and extra-so because they unlocked 10 levels instead of 5, but it is a huge step toward people clearing stuff like Baha/Ifrit EX and Bahamut EX2 etc. Also, the battle towers I think are solid content!!
no, they arent You must be seeing the 0 stam training quest which was always free. The next 3 days the FIrst soldier characters have 200% exp boost in training (inlucluding free) However I got only 9 K with a cactuar, we need over a milltion per level, unless you are using an auto clicker its a waste of time IE Bomb Event < Training quets< "Free" Training quests

I feel you on this! And I think that is something that is comparably much easier! So they should be able to pump that out more frequently, imho.

They should expand party slots for the towers because I don’t want to change the 20 I already have…
Yessssss, I wish I had like 40-50 party config slots!!
Better yet, they should also let us save individual hero archetypes that you can drop a specific hero build into a party with one tap!

I beat the EX 3 using Aerith's Floral Wand OB6 (which gives wind resistance down High Potency). the fight was long but relatively easy.
I'm gearing up for it right now! :)

Definitely good to point out that there is an exp boost for some characters in the free training quests! Esp if you have the time on your hands :)
